I like that the team was friendly and helpful when setting up Connecteam. It was fairly easy to set up, and the staff was responsive with any questions we had immediately upon switching.

If you run two businesses in Connectteam or if your team members for different companies that have different Connectteam accounts - you have to log out and log back in to be able to select a different company.

I have a free account and have been using it for my team for about 6 months now. It's intuitive and easy for everyone to use. Very helpful features. The free access is very robust. I hope to grow to need more features, but for now this is perfect.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

As a business with staff working in various locations, Connecteam has been a game changer. We primarily use it to see the whereabouts of our team members throughout the day, and it’s been incredibly reliable for real-time updates and accountability.

The GPS tracking and geofencing features help ensure everyone is where they need to be, and the clock-in/clock-out function is seamless and easy for the team to use. We also love that it allows us to communicate efficiently, share schedules, and track tasks all in one place.

The app is user-friendly both for management and our field staff, and the support team has been helpful whenever we’ve had questions. It’s definitely helped streamline our operations and given us better visibility and control over our team’s activities.

Highly recommend Connecteam for any business needing a practical solution to manage remote or mobile teams.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Honestly, there’s nothing I actively dislike about Connecteam at this stage. It’s done exactly what we needed it to do—track staff locations, streamline communication, and make scheduling easier. If anything, we’ve been pleasantly surprised by how comprehensive it is.

Of course, like any platform, it takes a bit of time for the team to get used to a new system, but once everyone was up and running, it’s been smooth sailing.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam has solved several challenges we used to face with managing a mobile workforce. The biggest one was keeping track of where staff were throughout the day—now with GPS tracking and real-time updates, we have full visibility without constantly chasing for updates.

It’s also helped us streamline scheduling, time tracking, and daily communication. Instead of using multiple platforms or relying on manual processes, everything is now in one place. That saves us time, reduces errors, and keeps everyone accountable.

Overall, it’s improved efficiency, boosted team coordination, and given us peace of mind knowing that everything’s organized and trackable.

Connectteam is a useful platform for our small team of teachers and staff. Our site primarily uses it for communication but also the feature of the knowledge base for onboarding new employees or accessing documents that are used frequently amongst the staff. Also, the ability to post updates for quick announcements to the whole site.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

My only dislike is having to sign in with my phone number and doing 2fa every single time when I switch devices from a desktop to laptop or home computer.

Connectteam is helping keep our staff fluidly communicating and helps support access to document templates we use on a day to day basis.

I like that it has consolidated several systems and apps into one place for my team.  No more trello, homebase, or slack! It's all in one place now and it's really helped to streamline everything in the business.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I wish we were able to set templates for scheduling.  many of our shifts are the same amount of hours, have the same category, etc.  Having to change the settings for each and every shift can be annoying.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im able to make announcements for the entire company, or just to a select group within the company.  The chat feature has been very helpful as well. I'm able to check in with various groups within the company and can see when they are clocked in, so I can expect a response.

I like the main dashboard that will display new posts and events similar to your social media feeds that you're already familiar with. It's intuitive and encourages the team to interact.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

It seems that processes do not finish with the app in the background. I'll clock in but if I swipe the app to the background while the buffer circle is still spinning it will not finish the clock in until I bring the app back to the front.

We are using connecteam to have a centralized knowledge base for many of our wok resources that would otherwise be hosted on several different apps / sites.

We love how customizable Connecteam is! It’s incredibly comprehensive and allow for so much information for our team to be centrally located and easy to find.

The admin vs user view could use some improvement. Because it’s so customizable there are places where settings can be overlooked.

It allows us to create overtime policies for different groups of workers. We have employees in multiple states and are able to easy configure their rules around scheduling and pay so that when export hours into our payroll system everything is seamless.

The scheduling portion is very easy to work with and simple! Having forms and tasks help a lot with accountability for being a place that leaves the bartenders alone at night to make sure they are doing their tasks. We also enjoy the chat feature and being able to group messages to specific people. Its been a great help not clogging everyones text inbox with this feature.

Honestly. I am very happy with Connecteams service. They only thing I dislike is the request off feature. It's not easy to navigate to find these, as well as the notification for it doesnt alert me right away.

Connecteam has done great with boosting our employee engagement! It has been very helpful allowing every staff member freely communicate with one another and has even helped boosting the morale. Connecteam is something that we utilize every day with our team and it is easy to use for anyone who has some sort of technology background. I enjoy that we are able to see who is viewing our messages as well.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Notifications is a little annoying especially about the engagement or who has been viewing the items. As much as it is nice to know, I don't need the notifications about it.

I like the geo location feature in Connecteam, which helps with accurate time keeping for billing. Setting up Connecteam was very easy.

I don't like that there are too many upgrades required for simple reports.

The many different aspects of it. You can use it to clock in and out and track annual leave and overtime. You can use it to message the team or the individual staff member. And you can use it to keep a track of various contacts we use as a team!

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I find visually it isn't my favourite yet, as it feels a little outdated and stuck. There is also sometimes a delay with recieving message. I also think it would be good if there was a heart emoji to like a message and a way you could get notified when someone reacts to your message (like with whatsapp).

Having time and attendance tracking so that all staff can see and are on the same page. It's great that we can see when we've worked overtime and how much time off in lieu we're owed.

We have a wide array of tech understanding with our Team.  It seams to be easy for all to understand and utilize.  Our practice administrator was able to customize it to fit our practice's needs.  
It's a great way to communicate, schedule, and get an overall view of the Team schedule/Time off.  Easy clocking in and out. No real issues to date.  We've been using it for a few months now and integrating it went really smooth. .

We haven't ran into any big flaws, so to speak.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I really like the ease of the time clock and the features around that. As an admin, it's easy to manage, adjust, and oversee that everybody is clocking in on time and correctly. Additionally, being able to easily download a full pay period at the end of the month fo payroll is great!

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I wish it would prompt admins to assign new employees to time clocks, as that's something I've found that I forget often. Being able to set up different work time ranges for different jobs would also be great.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam helps create a very seamless and easy way for our employees to clock in and out for their various shifts. Additionally, it helps me keep track of their hours (as well as overtime and holidays) easily so that payroll goes much quicker.

The most helpful thing is that everything is centralized – scheduling, tasks, chat, updates – so you don’t need five different apps. Upside is it saves time, reduces confusion, and makes communication smoother.

Sometimes it feels a bit slow, and a few features are less customizable than I’d like.

It solves the problem of scattered communication and messy schedules. Now everything is in one app, so the team is more coordinated and I spend less time chasing updates.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I love that Connecteam is an all in one solution for my team. I was looking for an app that had scheduling and timesheet options as well as a way to connect… I got a very good scheduling and timesheet system with great options for communicating with the team, but so much more, with forms, updates, knowledge base, assessments and more.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

There are some “glitchy moments” to Connecteam, which you might expect with most systems. 

1. There is no app that is made to work with iPads/ tablets (the app works well for phone screens). For this reason, because life is just easier on a bigger screen, I have saved the web page to my Home Screen for my iPad. I would love them to adapt the phone app, for iPad screen size. 
 
2. Sometimes, if the updates or chats are longer text, everything  slows down… I start typing, and it takes sometime before the online system catches up with what I’ve typed. I’m having to type my message elsewhere (e.g word) and then copy and paste. There is no issue with phone app, but when managing a team, I prefer to use a larger screen and a keyboard. 

3. I’d LOVE to have a feature in there, that transfers those employee hours, to a payslip, with an ability to input data for my country’s tax details. I’ve worked around this by creating a payslip form, but I still have to use another app to work out the tax details and then have to write down what each person’s gross pay and weekly hours are from the time sheets, the fill in a payslip form, for each employee… seems very time consuming. I’d love a feature, much like a form, but one that carries data over from another feature e.g timesheets. Or perhaps just more flexibility in the forms feature, by giving us more field options, to select the data we need from elsewhere on Connecteam? I know there are payroll integrations, but it would be great to have more options for those not using those partner apps.

4. When someone declines a shift, can there be an option where a pop up appears? E.g “declining this shift? Don’t forget to contact the manager, so there is enough time to get this shift filled by someone else.” At the moment, I’m having to tell team members… please tell me if you can’t do a shift. A little red dot on the shift assigned to you, is not enough.

5. So many emails and updates from Connecteam. I know we can tweak what emails we receive, but the important messages, are getting lost in a sea of weekly updates, monthly updates, timesheet summaries etc.

6. On schedule… moving shifts from 1 person to the next… it’s a bit glitchy for touchscreens. E.g I’ll use my finger to move a shift from 1 assigned person, to another, and sometimes it won’t move, sometimes it will open the shift and sometimes the whole screen ends up getting selected and to lose the selection I have to pretend to start a new shift and then close it, to come back to the schedule to try again.

7. There’s an auto clock out feature, could there be an auto clock in feature? Perhaps utilising gps.. when someone arrives to work, their phone will clock them in, and when they leave, they are clocked out?

8. I’d like a notification for each worker, before the end of their known shift in the schedule, to prompt them to tick off specific tasks e.g “Hey! Your shift is almost over… please make sure you…. “ and the data can be entered by the administrator, as to what reminders are needed, depending on the type of shift they are on. 

9. Yes please to expanding documents feature. Expanding this feature would sell me on the idea of becoming an affiliate. 

10. I’d love to see an expansion of rewards.. gift cards for your international users.

11. I’d love to see even more integrations.

What I like most about Connecteam is its user-friendly interface. It’s simple, intuitive, and easy to navigate—making it effortless for any age group to clock in without confusion.

I think Connecteam could improve in time tracking accuracy—for instance, when I end a break at exactly 30 minutes, it sometimes records 31. Adding more flexibility in payroll options would also make the platform even better.

Really love how easy it is to use for both admin and staff. Everyone's got the app and can pop in their availabilities, accept shifts, etc.

We have a small team so we really appreciate that there are no crazy payment plans for small businesses like us.

Haven't had any downsides at the moment. Been great to use so far!

Most of our staff are casuals and it's great for them to be able to pop their availability/work preferences on without me having to contact each of them directly.

I love being able to add notes, location, etc to their shifts.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

It's easy to navigate and communicate with staff. I also really like the geofence option since our events happen nationwide. There are a lot of steps to set up a job and then staff it, but once you get used to it, it goes quick. I'd definitely recommend the app.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The only wish I have is that there was a way to sync the jobs/schedule to my google calendar as a master calendar. A way to see all jobs on my calendar rather than needing to open the app. It would make it much more convenient seeing everything happening in one place.

Started using Connecteam just for scheduling staff.  We now use it for time sheets and organizing class details.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I wish I could see the full schedule in the mobile app.  While I'm logged in as admin, I can't see my employees schedules on the app.  I have to use a browser to see them.

Most of my instructors are per diem. I can post classes and the instructors can sign up for them.  This saves me from sending out emails and texts to everyone.

I like the ease to stay connected and share information. It was easy to get people of all ages set up and using it. Good time clock.

I don't like that you have limited access as a manager on the mobile app. The scheduler is okay, but a little tedious. The time clock download is a little difficult to read, and it would be very helpful to have the mileage reports or reimbursement report to print with the time sheets.

Connecteam has helped keep my team organized and responsible. There are several really great features about this program that any small business could benefit from. As an office manager, their HR abilities on this program have been an essential part in keeping track of PTO, sick days, time clock, etc.

Throughout the months of my team using this program, I have only noticed one downfall that I wished connecteam had and that is a paystub generator. All of my employees use this program to clock in and out, tracking daily and weekly hours worked which helps me complete payroll each week. Hopefully in the future, they can come up with a paystub generator to make this program even better.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam helps us keep track of our employees attendance and whereabouts when clocking in and out. This has saved us hundred's of dollars since using this program just by setting geofences and allowing employees to clock in only when they arrive on site.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connect team has so many useful features without being overwhelming. They provide training videos for all the features as well as support that is always quick, helpful and nice. Everything is organized, neat and user friendly. I can access my admin dash board from my cell phone as well as my desktop. My favorite feature is the notes section, my contractors can easily write the scope of work and attach receipts and work photos making invoicing a breeze. I also love that I can schedule shifts and talk to my crew individually as well as in a group message directly from the app, keeping personal texts and work texts separate. You can also attach work documents such as an employee handbook. The icing on the cake is it being free for up to 10 users.

I honestly haven't found anything I don't like about ConnectTeam.

Sometimes I can freeze up on you and make it where someone is clocking in late and then it has to be fixed on the backend

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You should be able to archive employees rather than deleting them, and it not count towards the number of employees that you have. If they are archived, they are not active and should not be counted. But you may have a person that could rejoin you down the road as an employee so you don’t want to completely delete them. The way yours is set up at forces you to delete them and re-add them later.

Connecteam is very user friendly and has a lot of customization both of which has been incredibly useful to my organization.

There is no option to upload, mark up and store PDF’s, word or excel files. It would be useful if we could attach a PDF to a shift, make marks on it and then have it stored in Connecteam to be pulled later.

I like that is has so many features and how easy it is to use. You can use it on your phone or desktop. We use the quick tasks feature daily so we can all see what we are working on. We have also used the time clock to show how long we work on each item. The functionality is great.

No real downsides. You just need to remember to set the tasks to expire at the right time, otherwise you keep getting pop-ups on your phone to say they aren't finished.

Pros: They have a wide variety of integrations to choose from 
There is a seamless integration of various features within the app which makes it super nice for teams to stay connected and in the same page with each other.

It's super easy and free for my small business. I've been using the clock in/out to track hours only for a few months and that has worked great except for my team remembering to do so. But I just added the schedule into the system which now sends them a reminder which is helpful.

So far I can't see anything that isn't helpful

I used to spend hours trying to decifer what hours my team had written down and loading it up into an excel spreadsheet to try and calculate. It was dreadful. Now it takes seconds to download their hours.
