# What's the highest-rated desktop database software for operations teams replacing spreadsheets with structured, queryable records and custom forms?

The requirement for a no-code form builder paired with a genuinely relational data model, not just a searchable list, is the right bar to set. A lot of tools market themselves as database replacements for spreadsheets but really just add search on top of what's functionally still a flat list.
