**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

Clickhelp has an easy to use interface. Therefore on-boarding a user to work on ClickHelp is not at all an issue. Also, their publishing feature is smooth as it points out all the errors.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

At times the portal is too slow and takes time to load the content to edit.

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

I have been using ClickHelp for 7 months and I'm happy with it. It’s easy to develop technical documentation with ClickHelp because they provide a lot of productivity features such as snippets, project templates, variables, filters, reports and so on. Really helpful!

The ecosystem of this product is great - Zendesk, AddThis, Salesforce, Google Analytics, YouTube and many other essential integration options are available. We don’t use all of those integrations, but some of them appeared to be very useful. Just like AddThis - you can add a comment box for your content, so, readers can comment every topic you publish. It’s very useful for gathering customer feedback.

I also want to mention a good job of the support team. When I had some questions, I contacted them and got clear responses very fast.


**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

At first, the UI of the tool may seem overwhelming. However, in two days of using ClickHelp you’ll learn all the basic features of this tool from A to Z.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickHelp:**

I think that ClickHelp meets all technical writing needs in our team, so I would recommend giving it a try for your project.

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickHelp has become a solution for improving collaboration within our team. Now I don't have to contact reviewers via e-mail or Slack because I can just assign my topics to them, and the team can check it immediately and re-assign back. So, teamwork and project management in our team became more effective as it relates to technical documentation.

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

ClickHelp gives us an easy interface to start creating technical content. it not only helps develop documents, it has also been a great tool to create FAQs and help topics.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

The User Interface could be more user-friendly. The task of moving topics has not been so easy for me.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickHelp:**

This help Authoring tool has been one of the best in the industry for start-ups and small companies. 

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using this tool to create product documentation, FAQs, and help topics. I am yet to explore what more I can do with this tool. 

I am able to implement different templates for different deliverables and have been able to improve user readability and accessibility.

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

The content editor is extremely easy to use while still being very feature rich. It's easy for a broad range of skill sets to use the system and then generating documentation in multiple formats is straight forward and extremely accurate. We've leveraged the ClickHelp API to incorporate product documentation into our automated build process as well, which generates dozens of resultant documentation deliverables automatically into our release process.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

I'll add 40 chars here because it's required, but it's very hard to single out anything really negative about ClickHelp. The capabilities we leverage are all very solid.

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to generate many slightly different documentation sets for the various product releases had become unmanageable with traditional tools. Our ability to collaborate was also non-existent. ClickHelp addressed all of these issues with ease.

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

I'm currently working as a freelance technical writer. And it's been 3 months that I use ClickHelp's personal monthly plan for my working needs. What I like the most about the product is its functionality and work of the support team. 
Before I made up my mind about using ClickHelp, I took a 30-days trial to try out the product. During the first days of the trial period I was playing with the text editor and exploring the content migration opportunities. I had some questions during the task, so I contacted the support team several times and every time I got a fast and informative response. I enjoyed the potential of the product and my experience with the support team made me feel confident about ClickHelp.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

While I was getting to know the product during the trial period, I got confused several times with its UI. But I got used to it pretty quickly.  

**Recommendations to others considering ClickHelp:**

A great tool for freelance technical writers. ClickHelp offers a 30-days trial, so you can try it out for free and find out whether it's your cup of tea.

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickHelp to create different types of technical documentation in both online and printed versions. One of its biggest benefits is that ClickHelp provides opportunity to save documentation in different formats: Word, PDF, CHM and HTML5 Web Help.

The product ease of use and customer support are both fantastic.

No dislikes at this time. We are very happy with the product and the support from Alexander.

Our company has many software products and supporting user guides and manuals. With no standardization in place we were looking for an online solution to improve the overall look and consistency of our user guides and installation manuals. After reviewing several of the leading Help Authoring Tools (HAT) on the market, we decided on ClickHelp. Several key features of ClickHelp made our decision easy:

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

ClickHelp was very easy to use.  We were able to import our Word-based documentation very easily and have our portal available quickly.  ClickHelp Support is phenomenal, the best support I have ever received from a software company. I am not a Technical Writer and do not have experience with technical writing tools and ClickHelp was easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

There were a few oddities in jumping between the WYSIWYG and HTML editors but ClickHelp was able to provide work arounds for these issues.  

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Needed to provide our Clients with Internet access to our documentation.  Benefits included enabling our Clients and internal staff very quick and easy access to our documentation.  As well as a tool that will enable us to keep the documentation updated.

easy to get started... a few clicks and a trial was initiated. I had done quite a bit of documentation and was looking to easily get started.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

Nothing yet... it was a great tool for easy upload of an existing manual. Its customize able. We had a paper manual.. and this is going to allow us to deploy quickly

really easy to set up.

We were finding the cost to print manuals for a roll out to be cost prohibitive. They required constant updating and reprints. We could give the center an e reader and continually update the information

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

The cloud nature of this product allows working from literally anywhere. At the same time, the set of features make it hard to believe that you are working with an online product. Before, I got the same functionality only in expensive desktop help authoring tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

Sometimes UI is not very clear. I have to do a couple of custom tricks with own CSS/JavaScript, though other tools does not provide even this possibility.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickHelp:**

They have a free trial and great support - just try and ask!

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am creating documentation for my clients. I need to create both online and printed versions of the docs and can do this easily with ClickHelp. The greatest benefit is the possibility to work from any PC or Mac due to the cloud nature of the product.

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

I am working for a company that uses ClickHelp for their documentation for several software products. I am still a contractor, and I work with five other technical writers from the company. So, we are six people working on six documentation projects and we need to collaborate a lot inside each project. I really like the topic statuses I can assign to see what's done, the e-mail notifications I get when someone assigns a topic to myself (for review, or for contribution), we use the Topic Comments a lot to capture tasks and feedback. It is also good to have the advanced filtering in the Table of Contents - I can see only the topics assigned to me, so I can focus on those and understand how many are yet to be done.
Oh, and one more thing - ClickHelp Devs really do a good job at listening to our feedback, and adding new features to the product. I have a very positive experience with them!
I use their  AI assistants too, which has been very helpful with my tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

I am working to get my HTML and CSS knowledge improved - there is so much you can do better/nicer in online docs when you know those technologies! ClickHelp is good at supporting modern CSS and HTML5, but I feel I don't use the full power of those technologies and this is what I'd like to improve. In my daily work, I don't need much CSS since all the styling is already configured for the projects, I just assign ready classes to text chunks. But if ClickHelp Team could make some styling more visual, this would be a plus.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickHelp:**

If you need to work online together in a distributed documentation team, ClickHelp solves that problem nicely!

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working remotely pretty often, being a contractor. With ClickHelp, it's still easy to collaborate on the documentation with other technical writers. Also, I can see how easy the company solved the documentation publishing and update process with ClickHelp - my Documentation Manager does not need any help from IT or developers to update the docs, she just does that in our ClickHelp portal when everything is ready. I think we save time and money with this approach.

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

Both sales and customer support are friendly and responsive - I got all answers quickly, with a lot of details and additional information links. And the tool has all the features I need, and even some that I plan to use in the future as the documentation grows!

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

I'm happy with ClickHelp so far! Would be nice to have a mobile app for authors probably and maybe some JIRA integration so I can track my doc tasks as JIRA issues.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickHelp:**

Don't be confused about other tools looking the same feature-wise, as I was in the beginning - ClickHelp is both a tool to author your content, and a place to *host the result*! You just don't have to upload files to your server or anything like that. Your portal is THE place to host the content and give your users a link to it.

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I currently work for a software company, creating user manuals and FAQs based on the support cases we get. Thanks to ClickHelp, I created and published the first version of my user manual within a couple of weeks - just basic information, but anyway very useful to our clients and prospects. A huge benefit for the documentation process is that I create, publish and update the docs on my own in my ClickHelp portal when I need this. I don't have to ask my web guy to upload any files. This saves me hours of work!

I like that this is a Cloud based product which gives me the freedom to work from home or the office.

I think the UI is unclear and the custom toils are lacking.

Adding more custom tools would improve the product tremendously.

The simplicity that it offers the user. Many users can understand how to update or create from any office.

**What do you like best about ClickHelp?**

Our main issue was being able to keep all product documentation components in one place, be able to generate multiple manuals from that documentation set, and to be able to version the documentation for new product releases. ClickHelp does all of that easily, and more. We were able to import our existing content and within a few hours were publishing multiple completed docs. The ability to generate different output formats, particularly one that can be embedded in our product, allows us to have a single pane of glass for documentation that solves every one of our consumable requirements.

**What do you dislike about ClickHelp?**

The fact that so much time and effort was wasted using other systems to try and manage our documentation. ClickHelp would have saved us so much time and effort.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickHelp:**

ClickHelp has a very short learning curve. The sales/support staff is incredibly responsive. I got responses to my emails in well under the promised timeframe, typically within an hour or so.

**What problems is ClickHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to deliver accurate documentation in the formats required by our product and our customers is critical not just to existing customers but is a key part of the sales process. Consistently formatted documentation in readily consumable forms conveys maturity and completeness.
