## Cledara Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Subscription Management with Cledara

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy W. | eCommerce Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I really like Cledara because it's really easy to use, and multiple people across different parts of the company can use it. It restricts any extra payments, which makes it safe from an accounting perspective and keeps everything in one place. I appreciate its simplicity and that it's user-friendly for anyone. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward. It was very user intuitive and needed minimal training—just sign in, create the account, and that was it, really. I also like how it reminds you if you haven't uploaded an invoice, even if it's not auto-uploading ones, and you get access to see card details and make changes. It monitors subscriptions so you can see if you really need them, use them, or if there's any value in them, and I find this very useful.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Sometimes, different platforms won't auto upload the invoices. Not every platform integrates, I think.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cledara to manage subscriptions and handle payments. It centralizes everything, allowing me to track subscriptions and outgoing costs efficiently.

**Official Response from Tatiana Bonafe:**

> Thanks so much for the feedback, Amy! It’s awesome to hear that Cledara is helping you keep everything organized and giving you better control over subscription spending.

 ### 2. Streamlined SaaS Spend with Easy Card Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniele M. | Chief Information Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I use Cledara for managing SaaS spend centrally and appreciate the ease of creation of virtual cards as well as ordering real cards. Each SaaS software having its own card is pivotal for tracking spending. I like that each employee having a company card massively decreases processing time for expenses. Additionally, the cards are accepted in the Apple Wallet, allowing them to be added as Apple Pay. The initial setup of Cledara for my team was easy.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

There are improvements that could be made on the team permissions and roles within Cledara and table views of SaaS services, for example to aid review of total spend by period of time. It would be nice for roles and permissions to be more intuitive to start with.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cledara to manage SaaS spend centrally and provide team members with spending cards, solving issues of tracking expenses and simplifying reconciliation by using virtual cards for each SaaS.

 ### 3. The Best Tool for Managing Multiple Software Costs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishwarya R. | Finance Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

The best tool for managing multiple software costs. The fixed and soft card options are very helpful for keeping better control of expenses.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

If there is an export option for the application added. It would help us to submit the reports

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, when we used a credit card, a few applications would sometimes get auto-debited regardless of the amount. There was no limit set, and we would only find out after the money had already been debited. After the implementation of Cledara, we now get a notification, so we can review the charge and check with the vendor for the reason. There’s also a budget flexibility option for some software in other currencies, which is helpful when making payouts.

 ### 4. Full Transparency with Cledara, But Setup is a Task

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sven R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I like that Cledara allows us to have the full picture in one application. It helps ensure we have full control of what software we are using at the company. We can make strategic decisions on where we can save money, make decisions on budgeting, and solve the problem of general business spend transparency. It allows us to see full transparency of cost and cash flow and tools and their usage in our organization.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Cledara is exceptionally detailed to set up. It takes a lot of manual time and effort to list all of the applications and insert all of the correct renewal dates and invoices. It's also quite a task to get a large organization up and running, onboarded, bought in, and using Cledara. The main challenge has just been getting everything set up. I would recommend doing it as early as possible in the journey of your business as later on it would be quite a task to fully set up.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cledara to track business spend, see full transparency of costs, cash flow, and tool usage, and it helps us plan our spend monthly and annually. It ensures full control, aiding strategic decisions and solving the problem of general business spend transparency.

 ### 5. Automates Payments with Unmatched Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I love Cledara's automatic payment feature as it helps us automate payments to many suppliers, making it less mundane and repetitive compared to using traditional payment methods like internet banking. It's handy to link Cledara to our invoicing inbox, allowing us to download all invoices with one click at the end of the month, saving time from downloading each invoice individually. I have never used anything like it before, and it seems really innovative. The initial setup was really easy and user-friendly, and Cledara's team was available and willing to help, which still feels the same way.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

We're satisfied with the product and have no further feedback at this time. Keep up the great work.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cledara for automatic supplier invoice management. It automates payments, saving time on manual tasks and reducing tedious work. I can link it to our invoicing inbox and download invoices all at once, which streamlines the process.

 ### 6. Simplified Subscription Payments with Cledara (and reconciliation via Xero)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Duncan R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Cledara simplifies payments as I'm able to send one payment to Cleadara and let it handle all my subscription payments for the month.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

There isn't anything that is frustrating enough to mention.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I make monthly payments to around 20 software subscriptions each month. When those payments are setup in Cledara, I only make one payment to Cledara and the rest is handled for me over the month.

I've connected Cledara to Xero accounting and so my last action in Cledara is to upload the invoice and that's sync'd with the transaction to Xero for me, and reconciled.

These all save me a significant amount of time.

 ### 7. Powerful Virtual Cards and Seamless Account Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veslava V. | Language and Translations Team Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I like most the funkctionalities - virtual cards (easy to create, ease to delete or deactivate); login tracking in Engage (used both for quarterly login audits and also to delete accounts during employees offboarding ; reminders upon agreements termination date; accounting fields to manage in ERP

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Automatic upload of invoices doesn't work properly (many invoices are not uploaded despite theay are sent to a proper address and have "invoice" in the topic; a feature that we are missing is informing us upfront if the next day /few days planned payments exceed the amount we keep on Cledara account (it happened once that by coincident two major payments were around the same day and one was not paid because the amount on the account was too low); tracking is imperfect as does not alow tracking those on MackBooks or other explorer than default.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

all card payments in one place
wide view cost-wise
tracking login useful for managing area to controll and optimize cost
a panel for ERP document flow - cost center, etc - useful for administrative team in the document flow
reducing risk we would not pay important tool because of often structoral changes (if payment was on personal company card)

 ### 8. Streamlined Subscription Management with Cledara

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I really like the visibility that Cledara offers into hidden costs and upcoming renewals. It's been a game changer for maintaining a lean budget. It's also the perfect solution for growing companies looking to centralize their stack and regain control over their digital tools.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

I don't like the technical issues with the Gmail integration, which we've found to be inconsistent. It sometimes misses invoices in connected accounts, forcing teams to set up manual auto forwarding rules.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara streamlines payment processes and eases subscription management. It provides visibility into hidden costs and upcoming renewals, assisting in budget maintenance. It's a perfect solution for centralizing our stack and regaining control over digital tools.

**Official Response from Tatiana Bonafe:**

> Thank you!

 ### 9. Enhanced Subscription Management with Cledara's Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma C. | Head of Accounting

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I really appreciate how easy to use Cledara is, especially considering its clean interface, which makes it accessible even for those not in finance. This ease of interaction encourages broader use across our organization. The support team is consistently responsive, which adds to the positive experience. The renewal features are particularly valuable, allowing us to monitor upcoming renewals, avoid surprise costs, and negotiate better deals. I find the benchmarking aspect beneficial for comparing with other companies. The workflows for access requests streamline processes for onboarding new employees, managing existing employees, and effectively dealing with offboarding, which enhances operational efficiency. Virtual cards are a fantastic addition, providing flexibility with spending limits and better visibility of all our expenses. This feature simplifies the process for employees who may not have company cards to make approved one-off purchases, further extending management control over spending. Overall, Cledara gives us better control and visibility over our SaaS spend, which is immensely beneficial for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

I find the integration with our accounting system lacking, as we're not currently on the list of systems that Cledara links to. This means we have to manually export CSV files and upload them, adding more manual intervention than we would like. Additionally, handling multiple entities is not as seamless as it could be; it would be beneficial if we could integrate them into our whole subscription package rather than taking out a totally new subscription.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cledara to manage subscriptions across our organization, providing clear visibility on SaaS spends and reducing tool duplication. It facilitates faster cancellations, improves onboarding, and enables better control of renewals, ultimately saving costs and reducing manual work.

 ### 10. Cledara for Finance: clear SaaS control, fewer surprises

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niklas L. | Finance Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

As a Finance Director in e-commerce, we run a large, fast-changing SaaS stack across marketing, ops, CX, and data. Cledara gives us one place to see, approve, and control everything. Ownership and soft budgets are easy to set up, so accountability sits with teams while Finance keeps guardrails. Credits on spend lower our effective cost over time, which helps offset fees and small tools that add up. Day-to-day approvals are quick, and the overview makes month-end cleaner—fewer surprises, fewer duplicate payments, and clearer cost allocation by cost center or team. Implementation was straightforward, and new approvers pick it up quickly.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Two improvements would create more automatic savings. First, stronger on-/offboarding support—eg, HRIS-driven prompts, per-tool playbooks, and checklists—so seats and cards are reclaimed when people move roles or leave. Second, more prescriptive insights: flag overlapping tools, recommend license right-sizing based on usage, and surface renewal benchmarks with suggested actions. For multi-market e-com, deeper guidance on duplicate vendors across entities and currencies would also help convert visibility into cash savings.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara consolidates our entire SaaS stack into one place, which gives Finance real-time visibility and control across teams and markets. Clear ownership and soft budgets keep spend within guardrails while letting budget owners move fast. Virtual cards and simple approval flows shorten procurement lead time and reduce off-cycle surprises. The consolidated overview helps us spot duplicates and low-value tools during monthly reviews, and credits on spend lower our effective cost. At close, the single source of truth makes accruals, cost center allocation, and variance analysis faster and less error-prone. Overall impact: fewer surprises, better forecasting, cleaner month-end, and measurable savings without slowing the business.

 ### 11. Very convenient for managing subscriptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eleanor O. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Cledara has completely simplified how I manage software and subscriptions. The platform makes everything easy to view and organise, and I always know I’m up to date with invoices. It also fully integrates with our finance system, which saves a huge amount of time and energy as I no longer need to reconcile accounts manually.

I especially love the ability to issue separate cards for each subscription. If someone leaves the company, I can instantly cancel the card linked to their licence while waiting on customer service, which saves so much time and avoids unnecessary charges. It gives me full visibility, control, and confidence in managing our SaaS stack.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

It does add an extra step to the process, since I need to top up the account rather than having subscriptions come directly from the main bank account.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Cledara, all our subscriptions came out of our main account, which made it difficult to track spending and created security concerns. New subscriptions had to be set up on the corporate card, which added unnecessary logistics and risk. Cledara has completely solved these issues by giving us complete visibility and control over all our software subscriptions.

It removes the stress of tracking invoices manually, ensures nothing slips through the cracks, and saves me valuable time by integrating directly with our finance system so I don’t have to reconcile accounts. Having separate cards for each subscription also means I can quickly cancel licences if someone leaves the business, avoiding wasted spend. Overall, it makes managing our SaaS stack far more efficient, secure, and cost-effective.

 ### 12. Clear Oversight and Better Control with Cledara

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I’m quite new to Cledara, having used it for only a couple of months, but I’m already very impressed. The platform has significantly improved the way we manage our software subscriptions — everything now feels organised and under control.

We no longer have multiple subscriptions spread across different credit cards, which used to make tracking spend and renewals a real challenge. With Cledara, everything is centralised and easy to oversee.

The interface is intuitive and clear, giving us full visibility over payments, renewals, and budgets. Even in a short time, it’s made a noticeable difference to how efficiently we manage our software.

Overall, Cledara is well designed, effective, and has given us much greater control and transparency. I would recommend it to any business looking to simplify and streamline their subscription management.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

The USD account is new, and there are several important grey areas that have been challenging and need clarification.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 13. A Centralized Solution with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rose B. | Quality Assurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Streamlined Software Management

Cledara has proven to be a valuable tool for centralizing our software subscriptions and related processes. The ability to have all our software in one place is incredibly helpful for several key reasons:

Effortless Seat Tracking: We can easily monitor and manage the number of seats for each software, ensuring we're optimizing our licenses and avoiding unnecessary costs.

Seamless Onboarding and Offboarding: The platform significantly simplifies the process of granting and revoking access to software for new hires and departing team members, improving efficiency and security.

Empowered Team Spending with Virtual Cards: The feature allowing team members to use virtual credit cards for purchases is a major benefit. It provides control and transparency over spending while empowering individuals to make necessary purchases quickly.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Past Service Disruptions and Learning Curve

While generally satisfied, our experience with Cledara has not been without its challenges:

Past Service Disruptions: We encountered a significant service disruption in the past that proved to be a considerable challenge for our business operations. This incident was serious enough that it led us to consider alternative solutions.

Initial Learning Curve: There was a noticeable learning curve when first adopting the software. While we've overcome this, it required an initial investment of time and effort from our team to fully understand and utilize all its features.

Despite the past service disruption, we ultimately decided to remain with Cledara, recognizing the overall benefits it provides to our software management.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Use Cases for Cledara

Cledara serves as a central hub for managing our software subscriptions and related operational tasks. We primarily leverage its capabilities to streamline several key areas within our organization:

Software Seat Tracking and Optimization: Cledara provides a consolidated view of all our software licenses, enabling us to efficiently track the number of seats in use for each application. This helps us to ensure we are not over-provisioning or under-provisioning licenses, leading to better cost management and resource allocation.

Streamlined Onboarding and Offboarding: The platform significantly simplifies the administrative burden associated with employee lifecycle management concerning software access. For new team members, Cledara facilitates quick and organized provisioning of necessary software. Conversely, during offboarding, it allows for the prompt and secure revocation of access, enhancing our security posture and compliance.

Empowered and Controlled Team Spending: A crucial feature for us is the ability to issue virtual credit cards to team members for software purchases. This decentralizes the purchasing process while maintaining central oversight and control over spending. It empowers our teams to acquire the tools they need swiftly, without lengthy approval processes, while providing transparency and accountability for every transaction.

 ### 14. Seamless Software Approvals and Easy Access to Company Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

How easy it is to get new software tools approved by finance, and how quick it can be to get access to existing tools. As a user in a hybrid team, it doesn't matter if our finance team is working from home or in the office, the tool will always get approved seamlessly.

I also love having a live directory where I can see all the tools that are available to use in the company!

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Not much I don't like, the user experience is great.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are building a GTM function, which requires testing and acquiring a lot of new tools, and cancelling old ones we no longer use. Having Cledara is a game changer in this as it makes it easy for us to collaborate with finance, whether in the office or wfh.

 ### 15. central place to manage expenses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

manage different apps separately and their payments

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

the UI is not great, it is clunky and the features are not easy to find...

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

centralizing the expenses to track the receipts and define budgets

 ### 16. Helping us cut through the noise of our software spend

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Minhaz P. | Head of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Cledara gives us immediate visibility into our entire software stack—what we’re using, who owns it, how much it costs, and whether it’s still worth it. Instead of chasing down scattered invoices or guessing what’s actually being used, we can make clear, data-backed decisions. It’s helped us cut duplicate tools, reclaim unused licenses, and stay in control of spend without slowing down the teams that need the tools to do their jobs.

The built-in workflows around approvals, renewals, and budgeting are simple but powerful. They strike the right balance between control and speed—no more rogue SaaS subscriptions or nasty auto-renewal surprises. It’s like having a real-time operating system for SaaS management.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Cledara is strong on visibility and control, but a few areas could be smoother. The user interface, while generally clean, can feel a bit clunky when navigating between different parts of the platform—especially when managing multiple subscriptions or updating payment methods in bulk.

Some integrations (like with finance or accounting tools) could be deeper or more customizable. It would also be helpful if reporting allowed for more granular filtering and exporting, particularly when reconciling spend across teams or mapping to budget codes.

That said, their support team is responsive, and we’ve seen steady product improvements, so we’re optimistic these friction points will continue to get better over time.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara is solving the chaos of decentralized SaaS spending and management. Like many growing companies, we found ourselves with dozens of tools being purchased across teams—with little central oversight, unclear ownership, and no unified view of cost vs. value.

 ### 17. Efficient Subscription Management, Superb Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali H. | Head of People and Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I greatly appreciate Cledara’s subscription management capabilities which enable us to efficiently handle all subscriptions in one place. I find the company cards, both virtual and physical, extremely valuable for quick issuance and easy expense tracking. The integration with Xero has significantly enhanced our financial efficiency. The software is well-built, user-friendly, and aids in managing finances clearly, providing a central hub for overview and control.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

The initial setup of Cledara took a significant amount of time due to the need to input numerous subscriptions. Additionally, while the support from the account manager was helpful, I felt there could be more regular interaction to ensure we're using the software most effectively and to teach us new features. This lack of proactive engagement is a minor issue, but having more frequent check-ins would enhance our experience.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara helps manage subscriptions efficiently, preventing unnecessary fees for unused seats, and centralizes financial management, ensuring quick additions or removals when people join or leave the organization.

 ### 18. Great Platform for Organizing and Managing Software Subscriptions

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

There’s nothing I dislike; it’s an excellent platform for managing our software subscription expenses.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

When the number of apps increases, some interface screens become cumbersome to navigate, could benefit of a revamping or a search engine, but that's just details. I love it anyway :)
I would add support for multiple email accounts to automate billing uploads.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple SaaS platform, licences scattered... Cledara solved this consolidating every spent easily, and also helped us visualize when we where buying licenses that were not in use anymore..

 ### 23. How Cledara Streamlines SaaS Management and Spend Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nuria T. | Treasury Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Cledara is a SaaS management platform that centralizes and controls our software subscriptions across the company. It offers features like real-time expense tracking, virtual cards, and automated approval workflows. This helps reduce costs, improve compliance, and streamline software procurement.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Cledara can be expensive for small teams and depends on full team adoption to be effective. Its focus on SaaS and card-based payments may limit flexibility for other spending types

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara solves the lack of visibility and control over SaaS spending by centralizing subscriptions and automating approvals. It helps eliminate Shadow IT, avoid duplicate tools, and reduce surprise renewals. As a result, companies save money, improve compliance, and make smarter software decisions.

 ### 24. Super helpful tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Graeme R. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

It's been super easy to get a full view of our software stack. It's easy to create virtual cards to pay for different software. There is decent savings from every $ spent on our tool and cloud applications. It gives us a good idea of who is working on different tools and when they are no longer being used.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

It would be great to have better visibility on our forecast spend. We can only see one month ahead. It would also be great if we could change the number of seats for each tool we use using a Cledara integration.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brings all our tools into one place making it easy to see what's being used across our business. It allows us to add new virtual cards which makes it easier to control spending but gives our team the ability to sign up to new tools without going through too many approvals.

 ### 25. Simplified operations and making sure we are on budget

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrej S. | Head of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

We used to 'organise' list of services in an excel sheet. Nobody knew how much things cost, if the cost is increasing over time and who has actual access. Cledara cover all of this and much more. Super helpful and convenient, and thanks to cash back we it cost us almost nothing.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Basically everything works. If I could choose I would like to minimise need to 2FA as it is slowing me down quite a lot to grab phone 20 times a day just to set something up.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organising budgets per application and keeping track of what application we actually use.

 ### 26. Great to finally gain an insight into our true SAAS spend.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim E. | Head of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Great to finally have an insight into our SAAS spend, we used to allow all users to but software on their work cards so we had no visibility to see all our licences and where our spending went to, the users then had to complete expense reports and the finance team had work to reconcile these now with cledara we can clearly see what our spend is control for any rises to ensure accounts are not spiralling out of control

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

although it's very easy to migrate accounts to using a new cledara card it can be a very time-consuming process to go into each user account and update the card details, not really a Cledara issue but something to bear in mind in the roll-out process, also capturing invoices from Gmail is sometimes a tricky process.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visability of SAAS spend ensuing what we spend is understood and controled.

 ### 27. Effortless and User-Friendly Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Easy to use platform. Can view what has been spent and amounts available on each card.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Have only interacted twice with it and nothing negative to report.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of each team member having to expense purchases themselves, we can add company cards, without giving company cards to each employee.

 ### 28. Every CEO should sign up...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg F. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

This is less about the platform and more about how it forces to think across your tech spend.

Just by going through the process of signing up, plugging all your SaaS in and updating the card details, it forces you to review the ad hoc spend you've accrued over the lifetime of business growth. In the first 2 years, it turns out we'd scaled to 54 SaaS subscriptions, a number of which were doing the same thing, across different teams. We've now reduced this to 48, which is a win in itself and more than pays the £200 per month back.

ROI is super clear on investing the time to get it set up properly.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

It's a tad clunky with need to use the Authenticator app every time you need to create a virtual card, but can see the security logic for this.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding the tech stack internally and ensuring we're not wasting OPEX on SaaS we don't need.

 ### 29. Very useful for tracking payments and eliminating transaction admin.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James C. | Founder & COO at Popp AI, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Cledara helps me to have a fingertips picture of the tools were using and where we're spending money. It saves my team hours a month in reconciling transactions and gives me a much clearer view of where we're spending and where we can save.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

The set up time is quite time-consuming. We did have to put in a couple of hours to get the value, but we save ours each month now so it was completely worth it.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Cledara, it was hard and very manual to track exactly which tools we were using and the breakdown of our recurring spend every month. With Clara, I have an instant view of exactly what we're using and what it's costing us broken down by product/subscription/category/team.

Also, we were spending hours Helping our bookkeeper by sending through invoices and receipts. Cledara does the heavylifting for us on this now - probably 90% of the work.

 ### 30. An easy way to manage payment card approvals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petteri J. | Head of Growth Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

- Making budget requests is intuitive and fast.
- Has extensive configuration options.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

- Receipt uploading is a bit cumbersome. It would be great if this supported e.g. automatic uploads similar to some accounting and expense tracking software.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara helps us easily add virtual payment cards for different SaaS services, increasing security.

 ### 31. Working with Cledara has been an absolute pleasure.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dariusz Z. | Director of IT and Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Their team is highly professional, responsive, and truly understands the value of collaboration. From day one, they have been clear in their requirements, open to discussions, and proactive in ensuring a smooth working relationship. Their commitment to efficiency and innovation is evident, making them a fantastic partner to work with.

Beyond their operational excellence, the people at Cledara make all the difference. They foster a culture of transparency, respect, and forward-thinking that makes every interaction enjoyable and productive. It’s rare to find a client that is both strategic and execution-focused, and Cledara strikes that balance perfectly.

We highly value our partnership and look forward to continued success together!

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Nothing. All of the services they are providing fits into our business

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara helps me keep track of all our SaaS subscriptions in one place, making it easy to see what we’re using and where the budget is going. Instead of chasing down invoices or dealing with surprise renewals, I have full visibility and control over our software stack. It also simplifies compliance by ensuring we have the right approvals and documentation in place for every tool we use. Managing SaaS used to be a headache, but with Cledara, it’s seamless and efficient.

**Official Response from Tatiana Bonafe:**

> Thank you, Dariusz! This made our day. We’re so happy to hear that you’ve had a great experience with Cledara. Our team works hard to make things as smooth and efficient as possible, so your feedback truly means a lot. It’s great to have you as a customer, and we look forward to continuing to support you!

 ### 32. Great for Splitting Expenses, But Lacks Reporting Features

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

it splits up the expenses making it easy to use and see

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

reporting feature is non existence - it is difficult to use for accounting as the report duplicates the total

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

reporting or extracting out certain reports for accounting/finance is lacking

 ### 33. Effortlessly managing all your company cards and expenses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** anant s. | DevOps, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Virtual Cards on the go and never declined by Banks :)
Visibility of expenses done by different-2 teams.
Ease of managing cards.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

I can't think of anything to dislike, everything looks perfect.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No need to ask accont department for credit card details, and payments are not declined as it use to be.

 ### 34. Great to keep an overview of toolstack (features, renewals, ..). Easy way to calculate cashflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor D. | Support/Analyst, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

It's an easy way to keep an overview of tooling, without manually managing a spreadsheet. The auto-detection of invoices makes it easy to implement within a company.
It's easy to plan cashflow with the renewal overview, so great feature set!

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

For a normal user, it's sometimes difficult to see which added tools are still in use/active. Minor detail though.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was difficult getting an overview of all the tools our company uses, now we can easily check if we already use a tool that can help for specific tasks. It's also easier to know who to reach out to internally to gain access.
The purchasing team doesn't need to request invoices from people anymore as they automatically get uploaded through the email extension.

 ### 35. Impressive features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henrik C. | CIO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

It solves the problems with managing SaaS spend and reporting, budgeting and forecasting and accounting.

 ### 36. A great way of handling multiple payments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Ease of use and reliability. I can add multiple subscriptions and expenses, track spend, and set budgets.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Nothing specific. I use it for different tools, ad accounts and subscriptions as a part of a marketing team.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling multiple physical cards can be overwhelming at times. Cledara helps by creating a dedicated card for each paid service making expense tracking easier and more transparent.

 ### 37. Very easy and instant solution.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devinder G. | IT Support Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I needed to purchase a Mac book for a user in India. My Finance team issued me a virtual card instantly and in less than 2 minutes I was able to purchase the machine and send it over to user. Also, Finance can manage all access of all users in one place. Gove are the days of physical credit cards.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

The interface can be better and more user friendly

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To manage all users, their issuance, the purpose, everything is in one place now. Earlier it used to be all over the place. Less people can manage a lot more people now.

 ### 38. Useful but expensive for what we use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I like the ease of use with the UX when setting up / managing cards.

There are some really useful bits around history of payments / quick payment overview and more recently alternative tool solutions.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Mobile experience is a bit tricky -
I barely use the reporting / team categories but we’re a small team.

I don’t find the projection of spend very useful but I might be looking at it wrong!

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to manage tool spend month to month / cancel / update cards where needed

 ### 39. Great tool for busy teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olga G. | Senior People Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

There's lots I like about Cledara - the first thing being organisation and categorisation of expenses. The fact you can upload the receipts then and there. How it has improved the budget tracking and forecast accuracy. The virtual cards have made the petty cash distribution much easier in our global teams.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

To be honest there isn't I can think of at the moment.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expenses management - great centralised platform which saves times of users & the finance team

 ### 40. Great user experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

The fact you can send your invoices to an email and forget about uploading it every time to the platform

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

Somehow my manager doesn't get notifications when I request a new card

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need for multiple cards to pay for all softwares my company uses, as well as tracking the expenses we have in determined areas.

 ### 41. Best software ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wences S. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

The visibility I have on my company's subscriptions.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

You need an automatic system to upload the money from our bank

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have full control over the subscriptions of my company.

**Official Response from Tatiana Bonafe:**

> Hi Wences, thank you for reviewing Cledara, very appreciated.

 ### 42. Great Way to Manage Finances and Expenses Amongst a Company tech stack and subscriptions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Easy to use with set limitations so that budgets aren't broken. I really appreciate that we have multiple users able to set up subscriptions and spends to various tools etc without having to use the company card. It also gives a centralized control for security and for us to readily catch any unnecessary spends.

Cledara lets us manage, approve, and track spends with ease, across a very large and international team. If a member leaves, unknown spends are maintained but instead caught and eliminated with ease, and no longer is all control in the holder of the company card, but instead in accessing Cledara!

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

I don't have any bug bears with Cledara at the moment.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple teams needing subscriptions and spends to various tech stacks and tools. We needed a way to not increase credit cards used, nor have too many subscriptions owned and managed at the individual level. Cledara let us take ownership at an organization level and easily manage invoice uploads, budgets and more.

 ### 43. Getting better with newer features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

I like their Engage feature from an ITSM perspective. It allows us to gauge a SaaS product's usage to make better cost decisions with the Finance team.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

It is still a premium product, considering its price – especially for startups and small companies.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to distribute virtual cards dedicated to specific apps for employees who want to take on the role of a SaaS app or software owner, without worrying about exceeding a set spending limit.

 ### 44. A game changer way to manage subscriptions

With Cledara, everything is now in one place. I love how easy it is to issue virtual cards for specific tools, which has made expense tracking and controlling budgets so much simpler. **What do you dislike about Cledara?**

I get a lot of emails from Cledara and be happier to just get a single daily digest of what has happened in the account

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara helps solve one of our biggest challenges of managing and controlling SaaS subscriptions

 ### 47. Amazing onbording process. Great care for the customers, continuos support and unlimited patience

 ### 48. Highly recommend Cledara for managing SaaS spend!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marta P. | Community and Events Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

What I love most about Cledara is how easy it makes managing all our SaaS tools. It gives us a clear picture of where our money’s going, helps us cut out tools we’re not using, and keeps everything super organized.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

There’s nothing I dislike about Cledara. It’s been a seamless and positive experience so far, and it does exactly what we need it to.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cledara is solving the challenge of managing and controlling SaaS subscriptions across our organization. It helps us track spending, eliminate unused tools, and ensure that budgets are being optimized. The platform simplifies the approval process and provides full visibility into our subscriptions, saving us time and preventing unnecessary expenses

 ### 49. Cledara is easy to navigate - however could be more efficient in its accounting

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Cledara?**

Cledara offers an intuitive interface that makes navigating transactions seamless while effectively consolidating all software subscriptions. It also enhances security and control by generating unique card credentials for each subscription, providing a certain degree of separation.

**What do you dislike about Cledara?**

It was proposed as a one-stop solution for accounting needs, but its accuracy requires improvement. For example, its invoice capturing functionality is flawed, as it assigns invoices arbitrarily through email capture. This prevents transactions from being flagged as missing an invoice unless someone manually reviews them, leading to an inaccurate representation of the actual number of missing invoices.

**What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest challenge was manually chasing business users for invoices on already paid transactions. Cledara was supposed to automate this with reminders, but that functionality has yet to work effectively. Its main benefit remains the unique card generation, rather than any advanced accounting capabilities.

**Official Response from Tatiana Bonafe:**

> Hi! Thanks so much for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the invoice capture feature isn’t working as expected. Please reach out to the Cledara support team—we’re here to help and would love to hear more about the issues you’ve faced so we can offer the right support.

We’ve recently made some improvements to invoice management, like centralizing it in 'My Tasks,' sending custom reminders for missing transactions (either for a specific subset or all), and the ability to track who’s connecting their inbox to automate the collection. We hope these updates can help.

Kind regards,

Tatiana - Cledara Team
