We feature donuts and we often update menu availability. However, I've already contacted a ChowNow rep for this issue and they said they would notify their team and keep an eye on it. But this issue is still an issue. I manually log on to the admin portal and make sure all available menu items are not archived. Also, when we remove items for the day, those requests are not reflective on our menu until much later. Once you learn how to make your own changes it becomes even simpler. It is worth the time and energy because, again, once you understand the "back office" piece it can be very helpful. Changes made to online menus are immediately updated. It does not allow the easy use of promo cards - even though they push the discounted marketing. Also, sometimes changes are made without them being done in the "back office". - I have called many times about this and there is no explanation that can be given. The worst experience of this was the building of the app. It was sold to me as a simple process - but it was not. The headquarters feature doesn't allow different restaurant concepts to be under 1 umbrella company. Easy to retain customers email. Track email and promo redemptions. Reporting is simple. In less than 6 months we've saved over 100k in fees. The phone does not nearly ring as often, our guests are ordering online or thru the app versus calling a pick up order in over the phone. Our employees are not having to handle as many transactions at the restaurant level as our guests pay online. It's very beneficial to have a branded app which creates the brand recognition and presence. The order link is integrated with Instagram.
