Recommendations to others considering Chartable:
The ability to track links is huge and i dont know any other platform for podcasts that offers that. I think I would take that over the reporting issues because that can inform your entire marketing plan.
I think you'll get a better view of individual episode performance from chartable vs other platforms. I suggest you report any issues you're having with reporting. Perhaps they'll fix it in later versions if we all make some noise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Chartable solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of not knowing what marketing efforts are working for us. It has changed our approach to marketing, knowing certain promos just aren't converting. We can now decide to spend our time/energy on other efforts.
As much as it is limited, it is useful to have demographic info to get some idea of who is listening.
I also liked the metrics that told us how long people are sticking with the podcast after a few months or even a year. That's useful.
While I would like more control of the metrics, it's definitely more than other platforms offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
