ChainDrive is for multi-channel retailers who need to control, manage and fulfill their business objectives. ## ChainDrive Reviews ### 1. ChainDrive **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2018 **What do you like best about ChainDrive?** Very robust system with detailed reports. Holds a lot of data. Looking up items was easy and overall there weren't many loading issues. **What do you dislike about ChainDrive?** The larger reports did take some time to pull. Again, with a lot of data this is common. A lot of times you had to walk away from the report then come back and it's ready for you. Otherwise the system would freeze. **Recommendations to others considering ChainDrive:** ChainDrive is a good product for larger companies. Before you invest make sure you have listed out all of your needs. They will work with you up front about making customization's and changes to the system to have it function for your business. After the initial contact any add on's can be quite costly. As well as if you add the program to any additional computers, that is rather costly as well. The support over the years was about average, as we came to the last year of using it, the response time did delay. This could be on part that we were not investing as much in them and I think they knew we were looking to switch. **What problems is ChainDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used ChainDrive for our corporate needs as well as our POS for our brick and mortar stores. It was used for a few years and we liked the functionality. But it was a costly product for us. ### 2. You could drill down deep into classes, products, sales and more. Learning how to use the reports was easy and manageable. Most of the time they would work with you to customize reports, system requirements and more. **What do you dislike about ChainDrive?** I didn't like that the reports took a while to load. Usually I had to walk away and come back so that it would not freeze on large data reports. This has nothing to do with my computer, it was the program. The user interface needs a face lift. The buying and Purchase order process is a little lengthy as well. I think if they made the interface more user friendly it would be way more appealing. There is a lot of functionality with ChainDrive but if you are a smaller company, sometimes that is a downfall rather than being helpful. If you want things customized to suit your needs, you're going to pay big $. **Recommendations to others considering ChainDrive:** It is expensive. Make sure you customize everything you like up front, or it becomes very expensive. Each program you have on each computer is rather costly as well. Make sure you need a BIG system like this before going for it. **What problems is ChainDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were using ChainDrive. It was our main POS system for our homeoffice and brick and mortar stores. It did hold information well and it was great for the home office. But the rather more difficult interface for the stores was hard to maneuver. ### 3. Chaindrive Superforms has a ton of information, and provides some great reporting! **What do you dislike about ChainDrive?** Without proper training you may not learn about the full potential of ChainDrive as a tool. **Recommendations to others considering ChainDrive:** ChainDrive has some great reporting built into it, so be sure to define what is important to you and your business and they will show you what tools and functions you'll want to utilize most often. Also, be sure to take full advantage to the customize reporting. **What problems is ChainDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Inventory, POS, Sales Reporting. Some of the benefits we are realizing are the trends that can see week to week, month to month, and even year to year.
