What do you dislike about CarePaths EHR and Measurement Based Care?

Too many clicks to get to places, clunky at times, and things are not necessarily in the most logical place, such as uploads and files. I wish you could auto-populate your note from the calendar, not from the current date and time. I wish there were more drop down/box checking options and that it was easier to create templates. What do you like best about CarePaths EHR and Measurement Based Care?

I think Carepaths is a really intuitive, easy to use and easy to teach EHR system. I like how easy it is to create and delete notes and the autopopulation feature for notes. I also really enjoy the fact that you can customize your schedule and view colleagues' schedules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CarePaths EHR and Measurement Based Care?

The only thing I wish CarePaths would implement is different languages. We have Spanish speaking clients at our practice who would really benefit from being able to use CarePaths. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Katerina, thanks so much for your feedback! It's great that our features are helping to streamline the documentation process for your practice. We are currently working on creating a Spanish-language version of our Measurement-Based Care assessment protocol and will hopefully expand this in the future to multiple language versions of the entire system.

There is no way to upload own forms, can't edit the forms currently available to tailor to what I need, the client portal is clunky and not easy to share/navigate like others I have seen, clinical note needs to be completed and signed off before you can submit to insurance (this is not true with other EHR's). I wanted to point out that it is possible to submit a claim without completing a clinical note if you go to the Claims menu, select "Professional Billing" and click "Post New Billing." We have the workflow set up as it is to encourage clinicians to complete documentation, but we did include this workaround for when you just don't have time. I'm sure you already know this, but our customer support team is able to create any custom forms that you need, many of them at no charge. What do you dislike about CarePaths EHR and Measurement Based Care?

somewhat slow EHR, the accounting is sub-par in not being able to post multiple payments at once but rather have to do each individually, billing (many others allow you to bulk the billing codes by putting two together into one button). I also don't like that the PNs show every Rx I have ever written for a pt on each note which is a useless piece of info and just makes the PNs very long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CarePaths EHR and Measurement Based Care?

I like the EHR component. They have lots of documents already available and ready to use. It includes features available with many other practice management systems, such as appointment reminders and ERA integration with accounting. I like the ability to have clients do standardized assessments. The more I've coordinated with other healthcare providers and third-party payers, employers, etc., the fax system is convenient for sharing information, even documents I've uploaded from outside the system. I do not keep any paper charts anymore either.

But the best feature is the price. The price beats every other practice management system I can find, hands down. When I've looked at pricing on others, the claims submissions drive up the price at certain tiers. The flat monthly rate has increased over time but is still consistently lower than competitors. What do you dislike about CarePaths EHR and Measurement Based Care?

I REALLY do not like the telehealth platform and I've not even been able to use it since they introduced the "digital front door" feature (end-user phone app for clients). My client and I can never find each other in the same room. So I pay for Zoom for Healthcare, but it's still lower than other combined platforms. The EHR can be wonky and not intuitive. Support can be inconsistent. I've sent the same help ticket three times for assistance with Part B supplemental ERAs that don't automatically post. They say it's fixed, but it's not. They introduced the app with glitches and unfinished parts, primarily the documents and billing section. Clients can not sign documents in the phone app, which is usually their first introduction to your practice. The chat feature with clients opens as a small window you can't adjust, making it difficult to see what is being said. As a result, clients do not want to use the app much since they get a bad first taste, alienating a potentially valuable tool to your work with them. I am hopeful for improvements. Hello Heidi and thank you for your thoughtful and thorough feedback about our system. First of all we sincerely apologize for the frustrating issues that you and others have experienced around the teletherapy feature since our last major release. It was a regrettable oversight on our part and our developers have been working tirelessly to find a solution, but the good news is they finally have, and after a little more testing, it should be released next week, along with several other upgrades to the functionality of our telehealth platform. We are right with you on the need to integrate documents and billing with the new app, but we felt that it was important to get some of the other features like Measurement-Based Care and the ability to create a Digital Front Door, into our users' hands as soon as possible and to include billing and documents in a later update, as those functions are still available in the browser version of the patient portal, which the app directly links to. If you are having a hard time getting the specific issue with ERAs fixed, it may be necessary to schedule a call with customer support where someone from the development team is also present and can work with you in real time to find the source of the problem.

What do you like best about CarePaths EHR and Measurement Based Care?

Allows me to supervise trainees and allows "incident to" Medicare billing. But it's on/off when it should allow user to turn on for Medicare patients and off for others. Also like that it allows auto-posting for electronic billing. But it's not intuitive and very glitchy so we end up losing money bc the system isn't alerting us to non-payments. The customer service is TERRIBLE. Rude awful people who give standard answers instead of actually reading the help tickets. The system is WAY too glitchy and complicated to only have customer service in help tickets. They either need a call in help line or they need to improve their system! CarePaths periodically updates/modifies their systems. As a non-techie, creature of habit, I struggle briefly to adapt to the changes. This is an indictment of my tech skills, not the program.
