What do you like best about Buffer?

I like that I can schedule up to 10 tweets with a free Buffer account Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I dislike that Buffer automatically sets up to post on my Twitter and Facebook feeds. I didn't realize that and was inadvertently posting twice on my Facebook feed. It took a bit of clicking to make sure that I only pre-schedule and post on Twitter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Buffer:

If you want an easy, painless tool to schedule social media activity, go for it! Even though the free version only allows you to schedule 10 posts in advance, if you're part of a small-enough company where it's hands-on from everyone on the team, that 10 posts maximum isn't awful. The ability to add in pictures or gifs with those posts also help make those scheduled posts seem more natural and in-real-time. I also like that Buffer automatically shortens links I attach to the posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used Buffer when I coordinated the social media platforms associated with the entertainment website I worked for. Buffer was supremely helpful for scheduling tweets in advance of special stretches of time, like holidays, when I wanted to make sure I regularly tweeted to correspond with the ABC Family holiday movie schedule. With Buffer, I am always confident that posts will look great - this was not the case with a competitor that we switched from. The interface sold me instantly, it's friendly, intuitive, and so straightforward. Buffer integrates with all your major feeds. I used the free version, which caps how many accounts you can link. Social scheduling can be the bane of social media manager's existence, but loading up a queue and buffering them out allows you to spend your time doing more high value tasks. What do you like best about Buffer?

I only use Buffer for Twitter and Facebook, but I’ve found it to be a very intuitive and simple tool for scheduling each weeks’ social media posts. Buffer sends a helpful email update each week letting the user know which posts performed well, etc. I also like the link-shortening it offers. Buffer also makes it very easy to add images to your tweets by prompting you whenever you link to an article that already has an image. Other may disagree, but I like that Buffer does not allow you to directly view your Twitter feed through the website. This is less distracting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

There is nothing I dislike about Buffer. I do wish that the free version enabled the user to create more than one posting schedule, but there is an upgrade for that feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
