"Easy to use but buggy on some platforms"
What do you like best about Buffer?

The ease of use is hard to beat. Also, I like the way Buffer syncs up to our social accounts. Having the edit and reorder functions are some more advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

It's buggy on Safari, and the free version is fairly restrictive, as far as number of posts go. The stat package isn't a strong suit, even with the paid version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great social media management tool"
What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer is simple and intuitive to use. I really like how they recommend times to post and even frequency per week. A great service to have for anyone who wants to be proactive about posting but efficient with their time. Sit for a few minutes and plan out 2 weeks worth of posts. Fantastic! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I am not a fan of the url shortener and wonder if the different social media platforms rank it differently than a direct post on their platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Buffer has helped me saved a lot of time on social media"
What do you like best about Buffer?

The free account of Buffer is already saving me a lot of time in social media. And this is definitely something that is worth checking out. Buffer allows me to connect my Twitter, Facebook page updates, Linkedin Updates and Google+ updates and have a centralized dashboard of posting my updates. I can also schedule it to be sent at a time that resonates best with my readers. The analytics feature of Buffer is also a great way that has helped me analyzed what updates are getting the most engagement. And it's also very easy to send updates to Buffer because of the Chrome extension and the Buffer app when your on a mobile device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I disliked the limited platform on the free account, particularly it doesn't have Pinterest. Pinterest is really huge in social media and I guess if it's something that you want, then going for the Paid version of Buffer might be something that is worth looking into. "Frills-free social media scheduler that delivers big results"
What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer doesn't look like much at first - just a grid. But that's the magic. It's flexible, and the analytics offered are powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

The plans vary - to get really great analytics, you need to upgrade to the $50/month plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Social Media Scheduled Posts Made Easy"
What do you like best about Buffer?

The best part about buffer is the easy setup. The layout is very intuitive to get started unlike the competitors Hootsuite that has a steeper learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

There could be more features integrated into buffer that would help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Buffer let's you schedule your social media and forget it!"
What do you like best about Buffer?

I love Buffer for promoting my new podcasts. It's easy to connect all of your accounts (I use Buffer for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn).

The day I have a new podcast come out. I log into buffer schedule all my social media for the week and let buffer do its job. It takes me about 20-minutes. The cool part is when Buffer has posted all my social media updates, they send me an email letting me know that it's time to add more.

At the end of the week, I look at the analytics for all my post so I know what posts got the best response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

The Instagram posting is a bit clunky, but at least they offer Instagram posting. It's a two-step process. You upload an Instagram post to your Buffer. Buffer app tells you when it is time. You log into the app and imports your post to Instagram.

Honestly, Instagram does not make it easy to schedule a post so this solution is better than nothing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great software with top notch customer service."
What do you like best about Buffer?

- Easy to schedule for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)

- Great mobile app

- Useful browser extension

- Customer support is very helpful, I often see my issues addressed in new version releases Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

- App blocks crossposting to Twitter when description is too long, however features to avoid this are already integrated in the browser extension, and likely updates to the app are soon to follow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Concise Social Tools at an Affordable Price"
What do you like best about Buffer?

To be honest, we've reached a point where most social media management tools all share a similar set of tools and features that are to be expected. Buffer's killer advantage is their no-nonsense, clean and to the point take on what a social platform can be. I can curate content from my usual sources directly within Buffer, add content to queues across the major networks, and set up post automation based on user activity and engagement patterns. Dead simple and it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

This simplicity comes at the cost of some flexibility, but nothing feature breaking. Some of the monitoring tools and functionality could be a bit more robust to allow you to follow conversations across designated hashtags or accounts, however I'd imagine this functionality might come at the cost of some of the simplicity that I love. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
