**What do you like best about BuddiesHR?**

I use Billy, and honestly, I love it. The messages are usually simple one-liners, but they’re paired with a great GIF, which makes a huge difference.

Even though the messages aren’t deeply personalised, they feel personal. They land at the right moment, they’re warm, and they make people feel seen and appreciated. That’s exactly what I was aiming for before—except I used to spend ages writing individual messages myself.

**What do you dislike about BuddiesHR?**

No downsides so far, everything is great!

**What problems is BuddiesHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Billy, I get the same positive impact without the time sink. It’s saved me a lot of time while still helping our team feel valued, and that balance is hard to get right. Buddies HR really nails it.

**What do you like best about BuddiesHR?**

The Alfy app is a great little bot we have connected to our company Slack, super easy to use and up and running in less than a few minutes.  We have seldom needed customer support but when we have it has been excellent and highly responsive.  Our fully remote global team now are randomly paired for 30 minute coffee connections every two weeks (you can choose your own scheduling cadence and suggested meeting length) , with helpful time suggestions offered by the bot and ability to seamlessly schedule the chosen time to their diaries.  If the team members share their google calendars with the app, then the meeting times suggested also correspond with both parties availability - making scheduling super quick and easy.  It is also easy to exclude personnel in the slack channel from the pairing e.g. if someone goes on a leave of absence.

Our team really love it and the random nature of the pairings helps ensure true diverse connections are forged across the org.  In the three months we have been using Alfy, it has really strengthened cross functional team bonds, and helped substantially improve our engagement scores for social connection.   We love this little app at Travalyst - it makes enhancing our remote-first team culture so easy, and helps bring some joy and levity to their working weeks.

**What do you dislike about BuddiesHR?**

No downsides - to get the best from the Alfy app it is best if all users share their work calendar availability with the app that way the suggested times match their availability.

**What problems is BuddiesHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a remote first organisation with a big social mission.  Sometimes this pursuit of our purpose is so intense it means that fun has been sacrificed more than it should have been and there has been less and less time for levity and silly chit chat.  Whilst we have an optional whole company weekly drop in social session, some voices prefer not to speak up in larger group settings.  Now we have integrated Alfy app, we are able to help our team to recreate the 'water-cooler'/'coffe break' 1:1 random connection moments across the breadth of the org.  The team love it and it is super easy to use and to schedule a meeting.

**What do you like best about BuddiesHR?**

My team members really enjoy Buddies HR. There are multiple different functions (Billy/Celebrations, Clappy/Kudos, Pulsy/Surveys, etc.) in one. It is the first of it's kind.

They are also quick to make updates if you give suggestions! I was pleasently surprised when I received an email that one of my suggestions had been incorporated into the platform.

There hasn't been anything that I have disliked so far. Customer support is quick to answer any of my questions.

BuddiesHR is really helping us with team morale and overall engagement in a fully remote work environment.

The automation is amazing, the setup was easy, I like it.  Also the Pulsy is helpful for polls, pretty straightforward.  Keep up the good work!

You could potentially send a menu of all the features or all your bots when a client installs one of your bots.

Honestly, it's quite tough to pinpoint anything I dislike about these apps. They all serve their purpose well and have become indispensable tools for our team.

BuddiesHR has solved several challenges for us. Firstly, Billy ensures no one's special day goes unnoticed, fostering a culture of appreciation. Lastly, Linky has eliminated the confusion around team structures and hierarchy, making it easier for new hires to understand the organization. The only hiccup I've encountered is with Clappy. If there aren't colleagues I feel moved to recognize in a given week, I lose my claps as they unfortunately don't accumulate. It'd be great if they could roll over to the next week.

As a 501c3 dog rescue that is operated solely by volunteers, recognition truly is key when it comes to volunteer retention! Volunteers are our lifeforce and integral to our organizations function and success, so acknolwedging them and expressing our appreciation is just as crucial. 

Integrating Billy into our Slack workspace was effortless, and he's already become a staple for our team. We are about 300+ daily volunteers strong, so Billy is an incredible asset to our org. It's also worth mentioning that their support team is top notch - within hours of sending my inquiry I had heard back from their team with a solution already in place!

I cannot speak highly enough of Billy and the BuddiesHR team!

**What do you like best about BuddiesHR?**

Alfy has completely transformed how I network within my company. It's so seamless to meet new colleagues for a casual chat, fostering connections I wouldn't have made otherwise.

**What do you dislike about BuddiesHR?**

Honestly, trying hard to find something to critique, but there's truly nothing I dislike about Alfy.

**What problems is BuddiesHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alfy has solved the issue of siloed departments at our workplace. By pairing me randomly with colleagues for coffee chats, it's enhanced interdepartmental understanding and camaraderie.
