Is Brevo Worth the Price? What Reviewers Say

Based on recent G2 reviews that discuss pricing and value, many reviewers say Brevo Marketing Platform is good value for money, especially for small businesses. Reviewers frequently mention easy email automation and all-in-one communication tools as reasons the cost feels justified. Several reviewers highlight time savings and simpler campaign management as benefits that make Brevo worth the cost for growing teams. A common theme across reviews is that pricing feels affordable for basic needs, though some users report the cost climbs as contact lists or usage grow. Many reviewers say advanced reporting, customization, and collaboration options can feel limited unless you pay more, which makes it less cost-effective for lighter use or expanding teams.

The free plan works well for nonprofits, startups, solopreneurs, and associations with modest sending needs. The Starter plan suits growing businesses needing unlimited sends without daily caps. G2 reviewers from industries including e-learning, retail, consulting, health and wellness, and marketing agencies frequently highlight Brevo Marketing Platform's pricing as ideal for their budgets. Mid-market companies also appear regularly among G2 reviewers, particularly valuing the per-email pricing model for managing large contact databases without escalating costs tied to contact list size.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Brevo?

Brevo Marketing Platform's free tier allows up to 300 emails per day with no contract or credit card required, including email support, responsive design tools, real-time reporting, transactional emails, contact management, and API access. G2 reviewers frequently praise the free plan's generosity compared to competitors. The key limitations driving upgrades include the daily sending cap and the Brevo logo on emails. Brevo Marketing Platform's paid plans starting at $9 remove daily sending limits, while the Business tier starting at $18 adds unlimited marketing automations, phone support, send time optimization, advanced statistics, and multi-user access. The Brevo Plus tier offers enterprise-grade security, sub-account management, and tailored onboarding for large organizations.

Is Brevo considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers overwhelmingly consider Brevo Marketing Platform good value, frequently citing its competitive pricing compared to alternatives like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and HubSpot. The pay-per-email-sent model rather than per-contact pricing is repeatedly praised as a standout advantage, especially for businesses with large contact lists that send infrequently. G2 users highlight that Brevo Marketing Platform delivers automation, CRM, segmentation, and multi-channel capabilities at a fraction of competitor costs. Some reviewers note pricing has increased over time and that certain add-ons like dedicated IPs or logo removal feel like extra charges. "Deceptive Pricing Presentation Overshadows an Otherwise Easy-to-Use CRM"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

For CRMs and marketing automations, Brevo is quite easy to understand and configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

How they present pricing feels deceptive. In multiple places, their copy says that with the Standard plan you get up to "1M email sends" and "Up to 500k contacts," but once you sign up you find out you actually only get 5,000 email sends and 2,000 contacts. After that, you have to pay for those extra emails and contacts. They need to scrub their flow and ensure it's very clear to the buyer what the extra costs are going to be upfront and they should update the limits on all their pages. A disappointing experience despite having a good onboarding flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
