Ease of use made employee onboarding very simple and most find the interface intuitive. The API was a huge factor in choosing to go with BlueFolder. We have integrated it with our own proprietary business management software and fully automated billing via a custom QBO connector. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice to have more user types with different fees associated with them. For example, we have some managers who want login access (paid per user) even though they really don't do anything with it. Also, the way the API is linked to a user account makes it so that when I expand our custom integrations to our sister companies I'll need to add paid user to each of them. A single developer account that could have access to multiple companies would be a nice solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customizations are a great tool. I like that we can change / add most anything on the fly. I am able to add as much information about a topic including required fields which help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm lacking the IT components for IT Administration and Management. For Fieldwork, this is a great tool, for IT collaboration and troubleshooting, not my tool of choice as I really need a combination of CRS plus computer support functionality in 1 tool. That said, i realize that this was not what it was most likely built for so I am pretty happy with what I can do with the current price point, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Blue folder does not transfer the cost of new materials to quickbooks, which makes more work for me to enter each cost individually in quickbooks when creating new products/items.
Line items transfer date to QuickBooks. There's no option to turn off date transfer. I have to manually remove the date from each item on quickbooks side. If i dont, the invoice will not print the line items in the order i arrange it.
After transfer, I also would like the option to have the words (wok order details/notes) removed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Service request smart lists auto update based on specific criteria. We use them to keep a visual display of people's workload, and to document other processes such as service requests that requires PO's, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Calendar integration with outlook is one way. They should also create smart lists for equipment items so that you don't have to constantly export reports to excel. We would like to be able to generate lists based on equipment due dates, and other custom criteria. Also, the team calendar view could use some work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it's a web-based platform and the new mobile app has helped. I like the customization that we can make to the platform. I Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) We store a lot of important notes in the customer's 'comments' area, but these are hard to get to on the phone app (Customer > History > Comments). While in the standard site we go to Customer and go to Comments tab.
2) Integration with Outlook could be better. Our Calendar syncs with Outlook Calendar (one-way); wish it could sync both ways. We use the Office365 Exchange platform. Editing and Rescheduling is difficult. If I delete a scheduled appointment from Outlook; the BlueFolder sync re-adds it to the calendar. So the only way for us to remove it is to remove it from BlueFolder first. Would love for it to be able to delete or change on both ends from Outlook.
3) Sometimes when I search for a contacts name within an account. It doesn't show any results. No results come back.
4) I'd love reoccuring tickets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
