**What do you like best about Awario?**

It's cheap compared to other tools but I wouldn't say it's a competitive advantage in their case. You can use it for a very basic tracking that doesn't require accuracy, which I don't think any business actually needs.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

Simply terrible customer support. The tool is limited, some mentions are not there and have to be added manually (you have to track that yourself), some can't even be added manually. The whole point of having a tool to track mentions for you is kind of lost. The reporting is incorrect – you never have accurate data for a specific period (fresh mentions for this month can be found and not reflected in the SOV report for this period, no way to fix that). You can’t track things properly, and the support manager Dmitriy is the worst person I’ve ever communicated with. Rude, not there to help. I didn’t expect this level of support to still exist in 2026.

It was supposed to help us track online mentions (social media, digital, forums, etc) and SOV.

**What do you like best about Awario?**

One of Awario’s main strengths is its excellent value for money, as it is a very affordable social listening platform compared to many other tools with similar or even fewer features. This makes it an attractive option for small and mid-sized companies or teams looking to optimize their budget without sacrificing performance.

Another key highlight is Awario’s outstanding customer support. The key account managers are professional, proactive, and genuinely attentive, offering fast, effective responses and practical solutions that show a deep understanding of both the platform and client needs. In my experience, this level of support is among the best I have seen and clearly sets Awario apart from many competitors.

Lastly, after using it for three months, Awario has proven to be a very easy-to-use tool with a great user experience and plenty of tutorials to help users go deeper. Additionally, its API is very easy to integrate and works perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

On the downside, Awario has some limitations when it comes to collecting highly accurate and high-quality mentions, which can affect the depth and precision of the analysis. While the data it provides is still solid and more than acceptable for its price point, it may feel somewhat limited if you are looking for very advanced insights or a particularly high level of analytical depth. That said, considering its cost, the overall value for money remains strong.

**What do you like best about Awario?**

I’ve been using Awario for social media monitoring for over 3 years, and I can definitely say it’s a reliable and cost-efficient tool. I monitor brand mentions on Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube, and Awario is super quick at picking up new mentions, so I can reply almost instantly. I also love the Leads module, which collects relevant social media discussions where you can jump in and talk about your brand. All in all, it’s one of those tools I use daily and would recommend to anyone doing social listening.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

It would be great if more popular platforms, such as TikTok, could be added for alerts and monitoring. I hope that’s added in the future.

**What problems is Awario solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awario has been a huge help for both social listening and competitor research. It keeps me aware of every important brand conversation, plus the trends and feedback that matter.

**What do you like best about Awario?**

I’m not sure how I missed Awario all this time, but I saw their launch on Product Hunt and decided to try it. The tool helps with social listening - you create alerts for your main phrases (like your brand name or competitor), and then it builds a feed of relevant social media discussions. I like the straightforward interface and helpful features like sentiment analysis, which shows the percentage of positive, negative, and neutral discussions - really useful for spotting reputation issues when there’s a spike in negativity.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

Honestly, nothing so far. I enjoy using it, and the support team has been very helpful, they even scheduled a demo when I was setting up my account.

**What problems is Awario solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool's very helpful for digital marketing, especially social media marketing, where you need to be aware of what people are talking about and in what context they are discussing your company and services.

**What do you like best about Awario?**

I was looking for a tool that could help with Reddit marketing, something to quickly find Reddit posts and comments mentioning my clients and help manage brand reputation. Awario finds Reddit posts in real time, and I can easily review links, snippets, and subreddit details. I use Slack for all work communication, so it’s great that Awario supports Slack notifications for newly found discussions. If you’re looking for a Reddit monitoring tool, Awario is worth a try.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

It would be nice if the tool supported native Reddit search operators, but right now I can only use the built-in filters to exclude irrelevant keywords.

**What problems is Awario solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awario mainly helps with social listening on Reddit and X (there are more, but I focus on these two) - the tool sends alerts when a brand keyword is mentioned on these platforms, so I can respond really quickly. This also helps plan new content for the blog, as we keep collecting questions and related discussion in the niche.

The functionality simply works - it does exactly as it's designed to. Setting up alerts is user friendly, and the daily email updates mean I receive notifications of any social media mentions. Customer support is first class.

The sentiment analysis could be better, but it's not a feature I really use anyway

It allows me to keep track of any mentions of my employer across social media. Awario notifies me via a daily round-up, with links to each of the original posts included.

nothing. the tool doesn't work and they have a very dodgy cancellation and refund policy

the tool does not pull social mentions as decscribed. signed up for a year barely used it for a month. They then automatically charged another year renewal, when i tried to cancel i found the process impossible and they have a no refund policy. It's the worst

it doesn't solve any problem to be honest. There are a lot of better tools in the market

UI is super simple to use and encompasses the same features that a lot of the more expensive tools have. The customer support team has been super helpful. Dmitriy has been wonderful in helping us learn about how to use Awario for our use case.

While Awario has an API, I'm looking forward to seeing how they build it out to make it better.

It's simple and easy to set up, that's it.

Even if you add specific keywords, it yields irrelevant outcomes.  The statistics provided are way off compared to the actual ones from the platform. The customer service sucks. We were asking nicely about something, and I have never encountered such reply.

It's lacing but we use it to have a centralized place to keep track of all our company's mentions on social media.

One of the best things about Awario is its 360 social media monitoring. Their technology keeps track of every mentions from multiple social media platforms like Twitter, Reddit, Meta, Etc

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

One of the first things to note about delving into Awario is it's learning curve. There is a TON for you to go over and monitor. It'll take you a few weeks to get a good handle of things and all the 360 monitoring that you need to keep track of!

The problem we're trying to solve using Awario is understanding our customers from a top-down perspective. We want to monitor the positive and negative mentions that we would get across all social media platforms.

**What do you like best about Awario?**

The promise of sentiment analysis on a broad range of social media posts. The promise of historical analysis across a wide variety of social media platforms and web interfaces. The promise of downloading the data. Unfortunately, these are all empty promises because the product does none of this.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

Most of the basic features that the product boasts don't work. The sentiment analysis is few and far between. They claim to offer historical data, but it took over 5 hours for the product to generate one week of tweets on a single keyword, so you're looking at days/weeks to analyze anything further back, or more complex queries. Then they make you upgrade to PRO to download the data, only to provide a spreadsheet where all but three columns are blank - no tweet content, no location data, etc. Completely useless. Customer support was unavailable and unhelpful. And don't bother asking for a refund given their product doesn't do what they say it does - they have a strict no-refund policy. Don't waste your time or money.

The goal was to analyze historical tweets to determine sentiment around several keywords. Unfortunately, no benefits were realized using Awario because the product doesn't actually do the basic things necessary to perform this analysis.

Our case manager Danielle is very responsive to emails and helpful in accessing information. The software categorizes information by where it was from, allowing us to see which platforms have more activity.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

Awario is a tool that is necessary for my work but the features have decreased significantly. Ever since they lost access to Facebook and Instagram the usefulness has decreased significantly. Every alert has suggestions for linking Slack and Twitter that is completely unnecessary and annoying that I have to close them out every time. Though they decreased the cost of our subscription after they lost access, we are still looking for a different tool that will give us access to mentions on those platforms. They mentioned possibly supplementing

Finding mentions for our clients on social media and analyzing the sentiment.

I love Awario's simplicity, ease of creating reports, and speed. It's daily reports are helpful to give you a quick birds-eye view. There are really lots of powerful and key features for the price.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

I don't like how much the pricing skyrockets when your social media traffic increases. As much as I like Awario's value, it's the kind of product you can outgrow. I get lots of raw data but would like to see it more actionable. I see different stats from Twitter Media Studio than Awario which makes me question the comprehensiveness of the data I'm getting from Aware.  As easy and simple as it is, it takes a lot of work to go through comments that are mis-categorized as positive/negative.

We're trying to understand audience engagement and more specifically if that engagement is positive, negative, etc. From that we want to likewise identify who our key influencers are. Which influencers are engaging with our content and who are the key influencers on both pro and cons to our messaging.

Seven day limit on historical twitter data, but you get what you pay for...

The seven day limit on Twitter results is a pain but I can work around it by manually entering in the reach.

The filtering options were very helpful to keep mentions organized and easy to reference. Additionally, the option to download mention data into an Excel file supported the analysis of the data captured by Awario. After the initial learning curve, the software was also fairly easy to use. The educational materials on Awario's website, especially related to using the Boolean searches, were very beneficial when first learning to use this software. 

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

There was a very steep learning curve when fist learning to use the software, so it took a bit of trial and error and a decent amount of time to get the hang of things.

Awario helped to determine consumer perspectives of a CPG product. This information was then used to create strategic marketing suggestions and solve consumer problems and address negative perceptions.

The best part of tracking the information you need through charts and graphs that make it easy to understand what information you are gathering.

The constant information coming through makes it hard to keep track or stay on track with the information that is given to you. Sometimes it was hard to understand what some of the information that Awario was picking up was meaning to me.

Solving problems such as a better understanding of the consumer from awario is great as it eases on the extensive research I would have to do without it.

Awario is a extremely helpful tool that can help you find any form of mentions regarding a product or service you work for. It gathers information from a variety of sites, acting as a far more efficient alternative to looking up the product or service through the web.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

No dislikes to report, but I will give a warning. It can have a tendency to get overloaded with responses, but the worst that has brought me is the software wouldn't update for a few days.

With Awario, I was able to find all the customer and social media references I needed, in half the time.

The "NOT" feature. I found it so helpful in removing noise.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

Once the limit is reached, it throws out the old comments. I'd rather it stop collecting all together, because when writing the report, I wanted to access old comments that had been thrown out.

**Recommendations to others considering Awario:**

The customer service is an 11/10. One of the employees Skyped to give me a demo when I was confused about how to use the software. Not only did she take time out of her day to do it, but it was 1 PM my time, and 10 PM her time. Never had such dedication!

I used Awario to conduct a project on Patagonia with the end goal of learning what drives a customer to buy Patagonia, or what drives them away from it

It's good to have a sort of forecast for existing limits, to be able to track and get notified if you messed up with social mentions (too much or too less).

The consolidation of social media results to one platform. It made going through results smooth and easy.

awario's results were helpful, but the filters had to be exact to find anything helpful at all. It seemed easier to use my personal social media profiles to find optimal results. This is not a reason I would not use awario, but I feel it is an opportunity for growth.

Learning the boolean filtering will allow you to establish a quality project.

I did not like how the layout of the app was designed. The feed was very small and was hard to keep track off. Also would like more data/metric options if possible.

**What do you like best about Awario?**

I enjoy the visuals the most about Awario. There are several almost interactive functions within the app or desktop site. I loved seeing where our followers, influencers, and users are, all over the world! As you scroll your mouse around, different information and pop-ups will appear! Making the site more fun than work. 


**What do you dislike about Awario?**

I did dislike it's sort of vague-ness. Some of the metrics seem either pointless or lack depth. The reporting was fine however. Also, you can only fine-tune your searches so much so you may get irrelevant notifications or results. For instance, if a Twitter user has a similar name to yours, their tweets will show in your feed

If finding where your shoppers, users, followers, infulencers, mentions are located, Awario is right for you. 

**What problems is Awario solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to see everything that mentioned our company name. Awario helped us crawl the world wide web for just that.

Simple interface that provides essential information for monitoring brands' activities. Leads; its latest feature helps me tremendously in doing my PESTEL and SWOT analysis.

Dislike is a strong word. I rather use rooms for improvement:-
- Hourly-statistic histogram in 'Mentions' statistics
- 'Alert comparison' for all alerts instead of only three alerts
- 24 hours ago/1 day ago "date range" in the alert setting 

**What problems is Awario solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customised sentiment analysis on specific brands/topics (positive, negative and neutral). The exported CSV provides me with essential parameters to curate report.I can only complement my findings with the current and future trends, thanks to 'Leads' feature.

**What do you like best about Awario?**

1. The way that Awario works (ie hunting down mentions of our product across social media) means that we can find out with almost no effort (just the initial search setup) who is talking about us, what they are saying, and where they are saying it.  While some may use this as a "brand management" tool, for us its become a way to determine who to prioritize in out 'reach out' program.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

1. Responsiveness on the dashboard is sometimes a bit slow when I'm in China (however, most of my other SaaS apps are affected this way too, not just an Awario issue).
2. While Awario offers both fully-automated (ie pick and choose) search configuration and more sophisticated (fully manual) boolean search configurations, it would be great if there was more easily accessible support for setting up boolean searches.  The info is there, just have to click away from your current search to find which i find frustrating at times.


**Recommendations to others considering Awario:**

If you are in niche market where keywords for your business are relatively unique, then i HIGHLY recommend this! For example, i grow coffee and our farm names are very unique, so 90% mentions of our farm name on social media directly lead back to our business.  If your business was dependant on less unique keywords, then Awario can still work for you, just more work required to mine the most helpful data :)

If you're using very broad keywords, results are not very useful.

For facebook, twitter, instagram, it does a decent job. Reddit still needs some work. It can find topics in subreddits, but you can't filter by comments or filter down to specific subreddits yets.

Awario compliments our working day and does not consume it.  It allows us to keep our fingers on the pulse and to not feel overwhelmed that we may have missed an important opportunity. Part of our daily activity and a must for every business.

I simply like it. No faults. I  i really had to find one it is additional push notifications. Not a big deal when I get daily email notifications

Refused to upgrade to the service I paid for. Confrontational back and forth with customer support. Lack of responsibility to honor commitment with users.

Unique and different from Hootsuite, etc. - specifically geared toward mention management.

No integrations with outside applications, makes it super difficult to get triggers and alerts where you want them.

**Recommendations to others considering Awario:**

If you need a simple and clean mention monitoring service this is it, for a great price.  The only downside is the lack of integrations with outside apps.  If you are concerned about price, Awario is also great on the price side of mention monitoring tools.  Overall, I'm sure if you get in now as a legacy user, Aware will be adding many high level integrations in their road map builds as the further build out the platform and take feedback from their users.  Right now, it is a great tool to introduce you to the mention monitoring industry.

Business reputation mention management.  Realized it is easily managed from one platform.

It's a good software that tracks mentions of my brand on social media. I check it daily to find relevant questions, comments, complaints etc and reply to them from the app without having to go to every social media platform. I find this very convenient. Also, I react to mentions from different accounts, depending on who'd be a more credible persona to react.

It's a relatively new tool and sometimes some features don't work, but they get fixed quickly.

Customer service and tracking ROI - I think it's very important to see the reaction to marketing campaigns online, and that's what I do using Awario.

Awario has great analytics  - it shows mentions' locations, languages, sources, etc. It's easy to filter out unnecessary authors. In the end you get a handy report with all necessary stats and you can get an idea of the brand's place on social media just by looking at it.

Awario shows mention's sentiment, but it's not always right. However, it's been improving.

Their Boolean Search is quite complicated, but very useful. Especially when the responsive support helped to figure out how it works.

it's very fast and simple to setup, gives you great information really quickly, and you can share reports with your clients via a link. The design is clean and simple — everything seems to be right where you would expect it to be, which makes for a very intuitive and user-friendly experience.

I'd like to export pdf reports, and that's currently only possible with the standard print option. A well-formatted pdf export option would be great

Easy setup and the boolean search, definitely, are its best features. In-app previews and Interacting with social mentions within the app are also a plus.

At the moment, for web agencies, allocating resources per client is laborious work to monitor and adjust to avoid hitting your monthly cap.

I like so much that the app it's very easy to use. I see so much value in their deeper analysis for Social Media, everything in one place. Great to set alerts and create reports.

I don't like that my first time using it, I needed few hours to see deeper results. After that it works great and very fast.

Awario's great at what it promises - finding mentions of any keywords or phrases across social and the web. Tracking brands and competitors is fairly straightforward with a 2-minute setup. However, the real deal are the custom "Boolean" alerts that let you put up some really complex queries and find customers complaining about a competitor or interested in your service.

I'm really looking forward to Reddit monitoring (I'm told it's coming in a few weeks).

Take the time to get the hang of Boolean searches - those are incredibly smart and flexible

They had very responsive customer service and really wanted to help make sure we were happy with our experience and results.

**What do you dislike about Awario?**

The net they cast was far too broad for a local, regional, or even U.S.-only based company. Their algorithm searches internationally, so I was receiving results from China, Russia, and other foreign entities. None were even in English. It was explained that they will have the ability to narrow searches in about 6 months. The results were much too broad for us and few were relevant.

Don't use it unless you're an international organization.

Our reason for wanting to know what was being said about us was to monitor our external reputation and customer experience. Of course, we also want to know who is picking up our press releases and publishing news about our organization.
