It's cheap compared to other tools but I wouldn't say it's a competitive advantage in their case. Simply terrible customer support. The tool is limited, some mentions are not there and have to be added manually (you have to track that yourself), some can't even be added manually. The whole point of having a tool to track mentions for you is kind of lost. The reporting is incorrect – you never have accurate data for a specific period (fresh mentions for this month can be found and not reflected in the SOV report for this period, no way to fix that). You can’t track things properly, and the support manager Dmitriy is the worst person I’ve ever communicated with. Rude, not there to help. I’ve been using Awario for social media monitoring for over 3 years, and I can definitely say it’s a reliable and cost-efficient tool. I monitor brand mentions on Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube, and Awario is super quick at picking up new mentions, so I can reply almost instantly. I also love the Leads module, which collects relevant social media discussions where you can jump in and talk about your brand. Awario finds Reddit posts in real time, and I can easily review links, snippets, and subreddit details. I use Slack for all work communication, so it’s great that Awario supports Slack notifications for newly found discussions. If you’re looking for a Reddit monitoring tool, Awario is worth a try.
