The Apptega platform helps our organizations streamline their ongoing cybersecurity and compliance efforts. It automates and simplifies managing and reporting on these programs, reducing manual work, and allowing teams to more quickly identify and prioritize risks and communicate those to leadership. The ability to manage multiple compliance frameworks like NIST, CMMC, GLBA, etc. and map common controls allows organizations to crosswalk programs and gain a holistic view of compliance status to make strategic and informed decisions.
During compliance assessments and/or security audits, the platform automates evidence collection, reducing the burden on staff, and ensuring that evidence is readily available for audits. Evidence is directly linked to specific controls from NIST 800-171, HIPAA, etc., and can be uploaded to the platform or linked to internal resources like SharePoint. Specific tasks like vulnerability scans or the collection of compliance documentation can be assigned to team members and set up with reminder notifications based on ongoing recurrence or due dates. Because of all of the features/functionality that can be utilized within the Apptega platform, determining how to initially configure and deploy the platform can be a bit daunting. However, the Apptega Customer Success Team is very engaged and is dedicated to helping organizations understand how best to implement the tool. They are a great resource and share strategies based on lessons learned from other organizations, so our organizations can start realizing the value of the platform almost immediately.
