We haven't used all the modules yet. TPRM/Vendor Management didn't really meet our needs. They are frequently updating the frameworks as and when they get released so it helps us work towards achieving them faster. We can run assessments to understand our maturity level and convert that into a compliance program and work on gaps. Very responsive account manager and definitely feel like our complaints/suggestions are heard. The dashboards are pretty and helps executives understand what the main goal is and where they currently are. Apptega is a great starting our GRC platform for people getting into regulatory compliance. I also love how Appteg covers the main aspects of a GRC platform such as control fmailes, sub-controls, templated policies (which I will get into later), a risk platform (internal and third-party), reporting, etc. **What do you dislike about Apptega?** Some of the downsides about apptega are the backend functionality and how the platform works. I experience many bugs within the platform constantly (dublication of notes fields, frameworks having the incorrect sub-controls and "show more fields", rescoring of sub-controls after they've been scored, cross-walks messing up, etc.) . The downside of Apptega is the backend. Also I would like to harp on the cross-walking. Sometimes (most of the time) when I do the cross walking capability and then look into the new framework that I cross walked, all the documents within the platform get inserted to the sub-controls rather than the applicable documents to the sub-control. It seems as if someone just said "the cross walk seems compliacated, might as well just put all the documents into the sub-controls and they can then choose which ones they want to keep. For a use case example, there would be a screenshot of security awareness training under a sub-control that asks for showing a firewall or anti-virus. These have no relation to each other. **What problems is Apptega solving and how is that benefiting you?** Apptega is solving the whole regulatory compliance issue with many of our clients. They get to see what the requirements are and then it benefits me by going into the sub-control and being the expert on the framework by explaining what the requirements are within the framework / sub-control. ### 22. Automation features are timesavers! I have all the resources, tools, and reports I need to build and maintain the company compliance record. I can manage policies and plans in a controlled environment. **What do you dislike about Apptega?** The old CMMC framework module is time consuming because it requires opening each, individual sub-control to set status. The new version, which was recently demonstrated to me, is much better and will hopefully be published soon. Apptega is a fantastic tool for navigating the complications, managing the project, and ensuring proper follow up. Utilizing Apptega has allowed us to move through the process more efficiently and thuroughly. **What do you dislike about Apptega?** We are still learning the platform but, so far, we have found nothing to complain about. **What problems is Apptega solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are leveling up our internal compliance by seeking SOC 2 type 2. On the surface, it is a daunting task. With Apptega however, we have a step-by-step guide and a built in project manager. Our staff meets weekly to go over a module and assign tasks. The next week we ensure task follow up and move to the next module. Our Apptega account rep and others are available to assist if we encounter road blocks or need guidance on a topic. When we reach the audit phase, Apptega's portal will be instrumental in providing auditors access to the necessary information without back and forth communications further streamlining the process and providing effeciency. ### 24. AppTega provides a solution to the mid sized organizations. It replaces Excel assessments and report writing it turns assessments into operational tasks. It handles Risk assessment, 3rd party risk management and makes audits a breeze. It gives your security program visability and measurement to executives and task owners. Then, when we are running an assessment for a new client we can just plug in what services of ours they have and it checks the answers. **What do you dislike about Apptega?** Setting up our services in the Marketplace was a little clunky. There are some required fields that don't always make sense for the services we are adding. The functionality is all there for sure though. **What problems is Apptega solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous tools did not let us pre-build or pre-select anything. Each customer was starting from scratch. With Apptega, we can load up our stack and automatically add it to each customer. This gets us about 75% of the way done just from the get-go. ### 42.
