**What do you like best about Altify?**

The ease of use. The software interface is user friendly and optimizes everything that is necessary for tracking CRO. I have tried multiple different softwares for this sector of my business and this has worked the best for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

I do not have any real frustrations with the software. I am always looking for new and exciting features - so maybe more updates with higher impacts that can help with efficiency and analytics.

**What problems is Altify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps optimize both our CRO and our CRM programs. It benefits us by allowing us to streamline and automate services to improve both our customer and employee experiences.

**What do you like best about Altify?**

The software itself provides a good user interface for end users. The sales methodology is very sound.The Altify team that supports the implementation and rollout of the software was amazing. The best vendor I have ever worked with. A real pleasure to work with!

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

The back-end data model is entierly based on data, so Altify will not work in Dev sandboxes. Any dev work and testing needs to be done in a partial or full copy sandbox. Back end administration is a bit tedious and error-prone because of lack of support with change sets.

**What problems is Altify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Altify?**

The Altify Account Manager software is easy to use and configurable throughout the entire application meeting our Enterprise sales team needs. It is a simple and organized experience to conduct account planning. Alitfy Account Manager integrates with Salesforce objects such as contacts, opportunities, and tasks, reducing duplicative and entry, and it is a bi-directional sync with Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

An area of opportunity for Altify Account Manager is to provide the ability to associate opportunities directly with objectives. This would allow us to track the direct influence that account planning and specific objectives have on growing revenue for our organization. Our end users struggle with leveraging multiple components within Altify and would like a single page to all their work. Some areas seem redundant within the application. I wish Altify Account Manager exported account plans into an Executive summary that was ready to send to leadership. The Executive summary is not leader facing today.

Altify client's us to have an Enterprise approach to account planning across our Enterprise Sales teams. It allows us to build annual plans focusing on our client's vision, objectives, and challenges. It provides a single point to understand the holistic plan and the steps we are taking to assist our client's with achieving their goals.

Good account mapping cabailities. Similair to other providers such as Clari which we use now.

UI/UX is rather complex. Could be easier to navigate.

When I used Upland (Have since switched providers) we used it on our sales team to prospect into accounts that we knew would have higher probability to close.

-The planning abilities are a great tool!
- The way the tool can be used to guide sellers in the direction they need to go, to be able to better ascertain winning a deal. 
-The tool is highly customizable to be able to fit your org.
-Altify Support is outstanding!  I have always gotten the assistance I need and expect, no matter how complex the issue.  They strive to get back to you as quickly as possible and/or set expectations on when to expect to hear back.
-Software has a modern feel and looks appealing and fresh.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

-It's a pretty complex tool that takes some time to learn from an administrative aspect. There are a lot of settings that go along with the various parts of the solution.
-it would be nice if there was an analytics tool that went along with it.
-Feel the support documents could be organized a little better on the help site. Perhaps broken down in a way that makes searching for specifics a little easier.

Altify provides easy access to account plans with a user-friendly interface embedded in Salesforce.  Ability to identify a strategy for relationship building within an account.  Working with the implementation team and dedicated Success Manager has increased utilization throughout the users and provided the proper support for the Sales Operation.

Altify's plan download to PPT might not fit your company's needs.

**What problems is Altify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Altify provides a single source of truth for account planning through Salesforce. This eliminates accounts plans being done in PPT or other documentation sitting on a user's computer that no one has access.  Identifying potential whitespace, Altify is used so that reps don't have to put all opportunities in the pipeline and forecast, these potential items can help with prequalifying opportunities.  Account Manager Plans help reps who have multiple accounts with a portfolio view vs accessing one account plan at a time.

Altify has provided a solution that allows the Account managers to have a better visual view of the stakehlders and the engagement they have with them to create action plans to improve networking and possible cros sell possibilities. 

This tool also offers the solutionto export the data into a PPT that you can plaste in apowerpoint delivering more insight on the business reviews

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

There was before a Linked In connector and allowance to InMail from the tool without  need to swap to a new tab to do so, with new LinkedIn releases this feature has been lost but it was a great asset to have, hope they can bring it back again

**What problems is Altify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure the account managers focus on their key stakeholders and provide insighful information about the level of enagement, also provides than a quick view of who they should ocntact for each aspect of the business.

**What do you like best about Altify?**

It helps our sales team relate more to the buyer and focus more on what they are doing rather than what we are doing during the sales cycle. It helps show the progress in the sales cycle based on where the buyer is. 
Also, the support with Altify is wonderful - they are quick, responsive, and open to jumping on a call.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

We cant change the status options on the qualifiers under each stage. They are hard coded to be yes no or in progress. I would like to be able to change those responses because not everything is a yes or no - some qualifiers arent necessary in some opportuntities.

**What problems is Altify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensure that the sales team focuses on the buyer journey and not our own internal journey. That is very easy to resort back to if you dont have something guiding you or keeping you focused on the buyer. Assists us to ensure opps don't move into stages they dont belong in.

**What do you like best about Altify?**

Altify helps you visualise your relationship with your customer and see the the 'so what'. The tool itself serves as a useful way for account owners to visually see their progress with an account, it helps them provide exec summary, prompts them to keep focused on what is important to their account and the individuals within it and most importantly encourages collaboration from their internal stakeholders and extract valuable insights from peer account plans from the same industry. The support from demo, through optimisation, training and installation has been excellent. The methodology has been the key, it is simple, it appeals to users from whatever background or approach they have worked on before, and it encourages a supportive, collaborative environment.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

There are no downsides to using Altify, the challenges we have faced in implementation have been related to digital adoption generally and the helping users recognise the value of investing their knowledge from it's current format (Powerpoint or alternative tool) into a new tool. The only feature I would like to see is the ability to see lost / No Bid on the Opportunity Map so you can visualise where you've explored expanding previously, to help you recognise to assess within the account. I would also prefer competitors to be our Salesforce competitor objects (that we capture on an opportunity) as opposed to Altify's that require manual entry, but I appreciate it's not an expandable need for the wider customer base!

Altify is helping demonstrate the value and volume of opportunities that have been created through account planning, which is not an ROI we've been able to demonstrate / articulate previously to enable recognition in the business that account planning is an essential part of the sales process.

Account planning underpins the rigour of long term target setting & quarterly forecasting. It makes Account Owners think and plan beyond the current opportunities. Achieving their revenue & margin targets is dependent on accurate forecasting of opportunity to win cycle and the roll-out plans for the customer that impact billed and earned revenue

  ### 17. Penultimate Tool for Building Trust with B2B Clients

**What do you like best about Altify?**

When thinking about building trust with B2B buyers, many corporate sellers need to re-adjust their mindset, and shift toward a more STRATEGIC view of the client or their territory. This is difficult as a planning mindset is typically not in their wheelhouse.  Leveraging a tool that is rooted in strategy and empowers new planning skills to be learned (and practiced) is key. Altify has given our go-to-market team an easy to use, collaborative platform, native to Salesforce CRM (where they live) that allows them to manage every aspect of the trust equation.  What are the key insights we learn about clients?  Who are the people we need to build trust with? Where are the pockets of opportunities we can push on, and develop over time?  And more importantly, give account / territory leader a collaborative platform to bring all the internal selling constituents into alignment, remove obstacles, and measure success.  Having rolled this out at 3 different companies, I see Altify as "table stakes" for any B2B company to leverage and would be one of the tools (including Salesforce.com CRM) that every seller in this economic environment should have in their arsenal.  As the credit card company says, "don't leave home without it."

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

The biggest challenge is getting internal alignment with process and tool change.  Many organizations are SO ROOTED in the way they do things, and are resistant to this change.  Sometimes the push is from the top and the field is not in alignment.  Sometimes the push is from the bottom and senior exec's are not buying in.  A coordinated effort is critical to focus on these mindset shifts (toward more strategic planning and opportunity execution) along with empowering sellers to "run their business" in a whole new way.  Sometimes this can be a huge lift to get this alignment.  That is the only negative side of Altify -- but can be mitigated by a "leader's first approach" and garnering internal resources, as well as expert consultants who know the landscape, and can help get momentum with any change initiative.

**What problems is Altify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Altify gets the account team to be in full alignment around the key levers being pulled to build trust and revenue opportunities with clients.  Also provides visibility for executives to see which representatives have a good handle on the nuances of running a complex business of selling SaaS in the Life Sciences industry.

The methodology, structure, and process are easy to follow and have effectively increased win rates.  It also serves as a way to identify earlier when to move on and not sink more time than required on deals that cannot be won or the payoff is not aligned with the amount of time and resources required to win.

Some more integration with Salesforce and Linkedin to make populating areas like the relationship maps would be helpful and increase adoption/utilization.

A standardized approach to assessing deals and establishing next steps.  It also provides a platform that better enables collaboration across multiple teams and BU's involved in the pursuit strategies.

Quality and scope of product, Great supporting team (from CSM, up to tech support).

Object structure makes salesforce reporting almost impossible (with our volume of data, we have to push data to BI tool).

Altify helps our sellers to identify who are their stakeholders at the customer level. By identifying - means putting pen to paper on who are my key stakeholders? who helped drive decisions and my business forward? lastly, by laying out who's who - it also helps our Sellers to identify white space. Who within are other stakeholders within the customer that might drive my business that I haven't talked to?

There are no other solutions on the market that compare to the visualization of contact relationships that Altify provides. Implementation is relatively straightforward with support from the documentation. When you run into issues the support and account teams are quick to help to achieve a speedy resolution.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

Opportunity Import functionality is limited to 200 records per import which is limiting for the volume of Opportunities we manage per seller.

Ability to perform account planning tasks inside of our CRM. Altify allows us to do so with leadership oversight into the plan information.

Intuitive approach for mapping insights and relationships. Excellent collaboration to bring the team together and find solutions on the perceived problems at hand. The support is excellent too.

Integrations with LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, MS Outlook, and MS Teams would be helpful. Adoption and implementation takes a while to get used to in the most appropriate manner.

Using Altify on Salesforce helps to capture information which is imperative to plan accounts. It helps us understand the current state of our accounts and provides a outcome oriented approach to enhance our sales process.

A unified tool that can be used to review strategic opportunities and customers. I like the framework the tool provides and that it allows for cross colloboration between teams and departments. It challenges you to think big and broad and to have a 3rd party view.

It doesnt sit absolutely native for what we need.

**What do you like best about Altify?**

Altify is easy to use and intuitive, meaning that users can quickly get to the crux of the Relationship and Insight Mapping activities without getting bogged down by the tool and methodology.

While it is simple on the surface, the tool is actually taking users through a trusted and effective methodology. 

For me, the biggest benefit is how the tool promotes transparency and digital collaboration within teams.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

The tools is pretty slick, but I think there are additional features that could take the tool even further especially in a collaborative, multiuser account and opportunity planning. Export of Relationship Maps is not ideal - would be great to be able to produce a .png file.

Account and Opportunity management. Collaborative stakeholder engagement and planning.

Tighter integration with Outlook and LinkedIn would be much more helpful.

Organizing my thoughts around a deal and collaborating with other users to gain insight and intelligence from my colleagues.  I think the Test and Improve option is perfect for deal reviews and collaborative sessions.

Easy to use interface and highly configurable. The platform has helped our newest hires easily understand and align with our well established process. For many of our more senior reps, the Learn and Apply workshop sessions were their first introduction to formalized sales training. More on the Learn and Apply sessions is that our consultants from Altify who led the sessions were stellar and created an engaging learning environment.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

Much of the training materials are in Salesforce Classic, so being a Lightning first shop, it was a bit painful for some users.

My only other gripe is that we need to wait to roll out Account Manager! (Internal roadblocks)

**Recommendations to others considering Altify:**

Make sure you do some soul searching ahead of time to fully understand your Sales Process, this will help you accelerate your time to implement. Same goes for Account Plans, but we have not rolled that out yet.

**What problems is Altify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Altify is helping our reps:
 - Dig deeper in their existing accounts - expanding the conversation to other areas of the business
 - Understand the political landscape better - identifying the structure and power dynamics in an account 
 - Identify key relationships - understanding where gaps are and the people they should invest in to ensure they are not single threaded in the account 
 - Ask the right questions to understand and qualify the opportunities in/out sooner - having a standardized means to qualify deals through our sales process and the 1-20 Assessment
 - Understand what's important to the customer at a deeper level - elevating their conversations to align with an executive audience

From a salesforce implementation perspective the end users absolutely love this product. The visual nature of the relationship map really highlights where your supporters and detractors are in a target organisation. Opportunity management coaches users and makes sure they follow the correct process all the way through from qualification to close.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

It would be useful to see the insight map for both the opportunity and account side by side so I would hope to see that in future product releases.

**Recommendations to others considering Altify:**

Spend as much time as possible with the implementation team and roll it out to your account executives effectively. Your sales reps will win more deals and speed up their sales velocity if they use Altify Opportunity and Account Management. If you can get a majority of your sales reps using Altify it will make a big difference. They then become the biggest proponent of it internally.

**What problems is Altify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a full consistent view of the target customer. Target customer knowledge is not centralised in a sales reps email, everyone on the revenue or commercial team can contribute to the sales cycle.

Sales methodology to evaluate deals and hone in on strategy is very effective - political map is one of, if not, most important feature for us

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

Tech itself - parts of it are not super user friendly, largely over-engineered with unnecessary bells and whistles that detract from usability for end users. This app is NIGHTMARE to support from an admin perspective. Any customizations, upgrades, enhancements NEVER work as communicated in written instructions or from Altify support. 

**Recommendations to others considering Altify:**

You need to have a VERY strong administrator for this app, one who doesn't get frustrated easily and is comfortable going back and forth with support. Since the app is over engineered, end users need to be given specific instruction (from the exec sponsor or business leader) on which areas to focus on b/c if an end user is expected to do it all, its way too overwhelming and back fires.

We're trying to be smarter/more strategic with our deals - learning early on what information we're missing, are we even in a good position to bid on a deal based on what we know, and understanding who the key players are....

Learning curve on the relationship map is a little steep, and is a little confusing when first learning the attributes attached to contacts and roles etc. With a little practice this gets easier.

Take the time to learn the tool, and use each step of the process. The results will be realized when doing so, and you will see that you are much more in control of your deals, and be confident that you are up to date on informed on every deal you use Altify for.

Altify allows me to follow my opportunity much more closely than other methods. I can ensure I am checking off the boxes for my sales cycle that allow me to understand the health and timeline of my deals. It also allows me to be more informed and educated with my questions to my client, resulting in a better experience for them, and allowing me to become a trusted adviser much faster.

Altify is logical and practical and helps our sales and account teams to manage accounts and win more deals.  It is customised to our requirements.  Altify the company also helps so much with buy-in and change management.  It is very easy to assess and track and fine tune. Because it works as a native app in Salesforce.com, it is also easy to get through internal IT.

**What do you dislike about Altify?**

The biggest downside, which is really an internal change challenge is getting everybody to agree to using a single methodology and tools, i.e. to change their behaviours.  The key is to get management to buy in and continue to buy in and have a clear voice on sales vision and how Altify underpins the future. 

**Recommendations to others considering Altify:**

Use the review of Altify as an opportunity to re-assess your Account and Opportunity Management and build new improved methods.  Ensure leadership are bought in and actively engaged.

Portfolio and Account Planning is key.  Every sales person is given a portfolio of target accounts, Altify helps them to build a plan and actions and communicate their resource requirements and progress.  Altify also helps with our strategic account planning.  No more need for updating off-line Powerpoint decks.  Altify also helps to qualify opportunities and strategise deal win plans through collaborative engagement of key people, all through the Altify on-line tools.

At the heart of great selling is helping the people you work with be more successful. And when you work with someone who wants you to succeed, chances are you do.

Altify has a great product for companies with a large salesforce. Similar to what Infusionsoft did with Keap I'd love to see a lite version of their product smaller companies could use. Learning the sales methodology alone could dramatically improve the results of your sales efforts.

Altify is it is only available with (Salesforce.com (SFDC).
