What do you like best about AI Interviewer?

The implementation process is extremely smooth, with setup taking less than two minutes. The platform offers a wide range of features, including video interviews, phone screening, resume screening, and coding assessments with a built-in IDE that supports over 20 programming languages. I use it weekly for initial candidate screening. The interface is intuitive—simply set up your interview criteria, generate a link, and send it to candidates. The AI dynamically adapts questions in real time, rephrasing them if candidates have difficulty and probing further based on their answers. Fraud detection features are thorough, identifying multiple faces, external monitors, screen sharing, AI-generated responses, and lip-sync cheating. What do you dislike about AI Interviewer?

The AI interview process can come across as impersonal, especially for candidates who value direct human interaction. Some strong candidates may find it challenging if they are not comfortable with video interviews or using technology. Integration options are currently limited, as the platform only supports Slack and WhatsApp, with no ATS integrations available yet. While customer support is responsive, the platform is still quite new (having launched in January 2025), so certain features feel underdeveloped. The evaluation criteria can be unclear at times, making it difficult to understand why a candidate received a low score. Although there is multilingual support, the accuracy of assessments varies depending on the language. It’s especially impressive in how it assesses soft skills and communication ability, not just keywords. The dashboard makes it easy to review candidate responses, generate summaries, and share feedback with the hiring team. At times, the AI can overanalyze phrasing or give slightly inconsistent scoring on borderline answers. One new thing I really appreciate about the AI Interviewer is how intelligent and adaptable the evaluation process has become. The keyword-based scoring system lets us tailor assessments to exactly what we're looking for in candidates, and it’s surprisingly accurate in highlighting the most relevant responses. I also noticed that the AI is better at picking up soft skills and context in answers now, not just keywords. Plus, the ability to customize questions and review detailed performance analytics for each applicant has made shortlisting faster and much more objective.
