"Great tool for texture creation"

5/5

What do you like best about Adobe Substance 3D Painter?

Smart Materials take a lot of guess work out of creating PBR accurate textures. Baking and texturing in one package is great. It's Photoshop for 3D models, and it makes the asset creation pipeline much more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Substance 3D Painter?

Basic tools are lacking. I wish there were more Photoshop like tools (marquee select, for instance). The baker works well, but not as well as others for the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and easy texturing software"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Adobe Substance 3D Painter?

This software is user interface friendly, and it's almost same as using Photoshop (if have experience using it). Another upside is we can render and also texture in real-time, which gives ahead compared to Photoshop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Substance 3D Painter?

The software being easy to use and achieve the results we want, yet there's some downside to it. Such for render or in for some transparent materials. Also when Texturing human, we won't be able to get as realistic as possible, but may be close yet not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
