Ontraport is very easy to use and has a lot of features. The customer support is top notch. There are multiple ways to get support and they stay with you until things are finished and ready to go.

My FAQ page is a bit bulky, but they are working on ways to make things better all the time.

It is doing my marketing for me. I can gather potential client and clinician information and sort it in many different ways. People can sign up and it does everything for me from there until I make contact with them through a discovery call. I love it!

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

When we first used Ontraport, I appreciated that their tech support team included a few responsive and knowledgeable agents who were able to walk me through setup questions. The platform had some promising features for automation and CRM, though they weren’t fully optimized for our nonprofit’s needs at the time.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

Their rigid “no refund” policy is applied with no exceptions — even for an unused annual renewal on a dormant account. In our case, a $792 renewal went through on an expired card, was re-billed after updating payment info, and we caught it exactly 30 days later. Despite zero usage for months, Ontraport refused to issue a refund. This “policy over customer relationship” approach, especially toward a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, makes it hard to recommend them.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had hoped to build our sales funnels for online education programs with Ontraport. While the platform offered some automation tools, several features we needed were still incomplete or not functioning as expected — such as time zone integrations for scheduling when traveling, conditional logic surveys, and smoother integration with online education platforms. In the end, these limitations, combined with poor customer service and a rigid no-refund stance on an accidental unused renewal, meant Ontraport created more challenges for our organization than it solved.

Too many layers — billing feels buried under marketing fluff. Stripe is cleaner and faster for payment flows.

Ontraport helps us automate recurring billing without building it from scratch. It’s useful for managing subscriptions and sending receipts—but we’re only scratching the surface of what it offers.

Amazing support, several great options for landing pages and a ton of information about how to get things right.

Nothing. - I signed up for an ontraport account and then got overwhelmed and cancelled it thinking there was something easier (I'm am not skilled at creating landing pages). This was the worse mistake I ever made and have gone back as there is no platform better for what I am trying to develop. Shoulda never left but this is how we learn right?

All-in-one platform building so I don't have to shell out tons of money.

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

Everything is interconnected for me. There is really no indepth planning for a small business. There are wizards and systems to get most of it working. ONtraport Univeristy Videos to learn about the new way of thinking about your business process and client communication.

I also must mention the tech support. I am sitting at a Dashboard stuck on where I need to do something and just reachout to support in a chat window and within minutes, I am off and running with a video of how to move pages to my domain in one fell swoop. I had been doing it all individually. Time saved.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

It's really hard to wrap your head around the ecosystem and I have not had to bolt on any apps to meet a need. 
Weirdly my biggest complaint so far is that I feel like I am missing something becuase its too easy. There should have been more hoops. I think its just change management for my brain.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had several apps bolted together to have a fairly basic site that got me leads for my business. Each change I wanted to make had its own challenges working with the others. Throw in Ai and its spending too much time on the digitial side of the business and not enough on the work. Each new solution was adding a new cost as well.

edited to add: i am fangirling their whole damn support team. they are dreamy.

Ontraport impresses me for two reasons. 

First, OP is the first platform that has me believing that an all-in-one platform is a good choice. Over the past year I've looked at a number of CRMs, LMSs, and ESPs, and I didn't like any all-in-one options so I was prepared to stitch together different platforms to get the experience I'm after. But as I've explored OP during the trial period I can see its power for my future business - the business I'm building toward over the next year. I can totally see how putting these systems in place while the business is still smal will be very smart over the longer haul. I can see the way it will save me time. I can see the way I can more easily bring team-members on. It's very exciting. 

Second, their customer service is TO DIE FOR. My first call didn't go super well and I shared that feedback -- in the post-support survey and also with the person who recommended OP to me. Next thing I knew the SWAT team had swooped in, and everybody was on deck to make sure I was taken care of. I get extra TLC from a VP, a long call with an account exec, and very attentive support in the chat. They understood my questions, kept me focused on the most crucial things I needed to know to launch my membership, and helped me see what was possible and how to do it with my very short deadline. 

The people truly are extraordinary, and are 100% the reason I'm signing on as a new client.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

The price -- with a caveat. 

I've been exploring membership sites and that's my primary use for OP right now. Given that, I wish it had a better entry price point, since I'm not looking for an all-in-one CRM/ESP/payment platform/course platform etc. 

That said, for its full power, I think OP is well-priced. And much to my surprise, the trial period has me thinking about how well OP will serve my future business. So I'm willing to pay more now with the hope that it's the right move longer-term. But it *is* more than I would pay if I were just choosing a membership platform.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I came to Ontraport to explore a membership platform. I really want a platform that has a community chat feature, which they don't all have. I also wanted a user-friendly design for my members. Other platforms I've looked at have had one but not both. Ontraport has them both. Add to that the simplicity of payment processing and integrations and I'm very happy with OP as a solution.

Even more, it is simple to set up email automations and reminders within the membership, and now that I can do that I can imagine using it as my ESP and my CRM moving forward. So they're solving a problem I wasn't looking to solve because I had another solution...but OP's solution looks better.

I most like the support that Ontraport gives you. As I was buidling my first Membership site, they really held my hand and took me through it, helping me with my mistakes or queries. i especially like the videos they make that explain everything step by step in my site, so I can copy and learn within my own site.

For the amount of stuff it gives you there is nothing to disline. It's easy to use.

I have found the onboarding support to be super helpful, as I'm not a super techy person. Being able to walk through the set up to get a high level overview to correctly set things up to build upon was really helpful and time saving. I really like having all of my systems in one place. My online courses, membership site, sales pages, checkout pages, and email automations are all in ontraport. Pretty much hands off, once it's set up.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

The support used to be amazing, but sometimes depending on who you get on the live chat, it's limited in how much they can advise you, especially when your systems get more complicated.

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

Ontraport is a highly flexible CRM and sales platform and the ease of implementation by way of the support teams onboarding skills was a massive part of my decision to choose this.  Sure it's possible to nickel and dime your way through all of the various facets with a selection of alternate products but this is pretty much a one stop shop for all marketing teams of most sizes.  It's pricey for small businesses but when your time is at a premium, for me it's a no brainer.  
  
Ontraport offer a support team which in my experience is absolutely second to none.  The team are constantly working on feature enhancements and it's virtually unheard of to have senior management not only hanging out in a user group but actively responding to questions and queries.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

It's a really highly customisable platform but the down side is that it can be difficult to find the specific item you're looking for.  This has been offset somewhat by the huge Ontraport University funciton which has videos and guides for most things and also the top notch live chat and support team.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I host a variety of online courses on Ontraport and also have an automated sales funnel at the front end of this.  It captures leads from my website (ontraform embedded) and I'm going to be looking at more of the deep sales funnel social media aspects which were released in recent months

The immediate customer support available is of very high level. All of my questions and queries when i run into problems are solved in an efficient and professional manner. The flexibility when creating automations is also great. I would reccomend Ontraport to others as i found the customer service, features and ease of use great. I use the system every day and love it.

Having customers only being able to opt-in to SMS comms by filling out an Ontraport form is diffcult as many of our event registrations come from Facebook lead forms and therefore when ending up in our database are not opted in to receive text messages.

I LOVE the customer support at Ontraport. In a world where other companies are impossible to get in touch with, and impossible to get customer support, I HIGHLY recommend Ontraport. Their customer support is outstanding, and the platform is solid, and works as it is intended to about 99% of the time. When it doesn't work exactly as I'd like it to- then well, I contact customer support, and they do a consistently phenomenal job of supporting me, even when I'm pretty sure they'd want ot pull their hair out, because I'm alwasy pushing the boundaries of what the service can do.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

It is not for the faint of heart, and is not the simplest platform to use. The only thing that the solution does NOT have is a built in shopping cart, and built in contracts. I get around that by using other platforms, or integrating multiple platforms together.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to do lead management, lead capture, email management, and a ton of things within my business. I use it for landing pages, events, membership courses, and the list goes on. I generally buy and use endlessly the software that I purchase.

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

The first thing that comes to mind when I think about Ontraport is there unwavering focus on service. They offer so much and are there to help you find what you need. There are so many features that are all housed in one place that all focus on your CRM needs. What's great about that is that it reduces the likelihood of breakdowns between services. On top of that, they have people and many resources to help you figure out ways to make even better use of their services. It really is incredible. And just to be certain, I'll mention the people again. At every level I have spoken with, I have been completely astonished with the level of focus every employee has had on serving the customer. It even translates into the dialogue you have with the service representatives. There is no sense of judgment for not knowing something. They are just looking for ways to help you succeed. I couldn't be more grateful.

I would have to stretch to find something to say about what I don't like. The only thing that comes to mind is a challenge in finding what services I want to use because there are so many.

Ontraport is helping me bring all of my tools together in one place for my clients' journeys. The setup they have makes things so easy to create what I need and figure out things I may have missed or have not thought of. There are even wizards to prompt you through setting up various functions and items. Ontraport is helping me tailor and optimize my clients' experiences. All while reducing the amount of time, effort, and figuring out that I need to invest.

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

Ontraport is the best small business software out there, bar none. Flexible. Easy to use. Intuitive. And SUPER powerful. 

Since we've implemented Ontraport we have saved literally 0.8 of a staff member's time in admin and tasks (our previous platforms were SugarCRM). That's, like, $40,000 worth of saved time!!!

I LOVE the fact that it is effectively an all-in-one solution that will be enough for pretty much any small to medium sized business. However, its potential is basically limitless if you need to do deep integrations with other systems too...so even the stuff where our business works 'out of the box' we are able to easily connect Ontraport to other platforms for highly specialised work. 

What else.....

Their Customer Support are phenomenal. The best out there. They are online, like 18 hours per day (maybe a little less on weekends) and you can call, chat or email in....and actually get  a real response, no matter how small the question. Their online Facebook community is like nothing I've ever seen too - responsive, supportive, funny...

Ontraport's dynamic CMS has allowed us to build all sorts of interesting web experiences for our clients, technology that you'd usually pay a lot more for but it's at everyone's fingertips. Love how this platform is constantly innovating and improving.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

The fact we can't do Postcards here in Australia is a bit of a pain, but that's related to an external integration (I'm guessing), so not really OPs fault. 

**Recommendations to others considering Ontraport:**

This product will change your business BUT you have to spend enough time working on it. Set aside a couple of hours to work ON (not IN) your account each week and you will reap the rewards. 

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have automated parts of our workflow that I didn't think were possible. We've integrated our marketing (e.g. Facebook ads) directly in with our client support (Ontraport's CRM features) so our business has become so much more streamlined. We've literally saved tens of thousands of dollars in staff time and have only been using it for about 9 months.

Every now and then this company just takes however much money they want from your bank, if you don't do anything they have free money, if you contact them you have to wait a number of days for the money to be returned to you. They break the law by taking more money from your bank than you agree to, find a different company that is more worthy of trust when it comes to your money.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

Take more money than authorized randomly and then bounce you around from support person to support person taking days to return the money they have stolen from you.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now they are taking more money from my bank than authorized to leaving my bank account short for other expenses while they take days to get it back to me, if you are going to steal peoples money at least return it instantly when they catch you.

> Hello Frank. Looking into your account I can see that you went over your contact limit and were auto upgraded to a Plus plan (as per our policy). You did remove the excess contacts from your account but unfortunately didn't downgrade back to Basic before the billing cycle.

Please see our Fee Agreement (https://ontraport.com/legal#oa4a5f19963f2) for reference, which states that should your account exceed your current account limit of contacts plus object records with email address fields, user seats or emails, your service plan will either be upgraded automatically to the next most affordable account level or service package, or it will be billed for overages.

Given the situation we voided the transaction and remedied the situation the same day.

Additionally, because we voided charges for the Plus plan before they were settled (and then we re-billed at the correct rate) the funds were never removed from your account. Not sure what more we could have done here but please reach back out with any others questions you might have.

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

ONTRAPORT has one of the most user-friendly interfaces in the CRM space. I'd used many CRMs prior to opening my ONTRAPORT account, and none of them compare to the simplistic and sleek appeal of ONTRAPORT's interface. Overall, ONTRAPORT is one of the most solid platforms on the market. As someone who has been using it for seven years (and counting), I'm still very proud of the investment of time and money that I've made in this SaaS.

Every system has it's occasional glitches, so this is not something that can be escaped––no matter what tool you choose to use. That said, ONTRAPORT could do a better job of informing customers of how updates/changes to the platform will affect their account. For example, in the past I'd have new ONTRAPORT clients end their free trial and sign up for the paid account; however, after some changes, I learned the hard way that is no longer permitted. It would've been nice to know that before engaging the customer.

From storing files and papers to building landing pages quickly and testing various designs, Ontraport has all the tools I require in one handy platform.

Ontraports inability to support real time editing, which can be challenging when several people are working on the same project, is one issue that I find bothersome. I have seen an improvement in the collaboration tools, and I value the efforts being made in that direction. More tools for email composing, discussing modifications, and having open approval pathways would all be nice.

We can readily see how they affect test requests by using web and landing sites. While the setup procedure may not be simple and necessitate gathering a lot of data, it offers insightful information regarding the efficacy of our advertisements and indicates places in our sales funnel that want development. It is easy to share and send emails between groups of people to get feedback and work together. Making our website part of Ontraport has made it possible to make easy changes and get quality information and data. A/B testing has proven to be very useful for our landing pages and emails. Our sales and marketing teams use Ontraport exclusively to create campaigns, send emails to potential customers and perform automated actions. It is helpful to have all of our files and documents in one place that is easy to access. We are also currently transitioning our website to Ontraport and have recently seen the benefits of being able to create landing pages with a fast design and perform contrast testing.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

Real-time edits would be ideal. If there are multiple people working on the same thing, you will be fired and your changes will likely not be retained. The ability to modify announcements via the calendar is annoyingly complex. There is no proper way to edit or update a section simultaneously. You will have to visit each person separately. Ontraport incorporated some collaboration tools, however, I think this could be improved. I would like to see more alternatives for writing emails and ways to share changes, as well as approval paths.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Ontraport marketing to be helpful for organizations that need a little guidance to get started. There are numerous predefined templates and alternatives to choose from. Also, there are excellent alternatives to testing that make it easy to spot what works and what doesn't. However, for those looking for more collaboration and tools to interact in real time, I'm not sure this is the way to go. We can more quickly perceive the effect that web and landing pages have on test requests. Although it's not simple to set up, there is a lot of data to collect to better understand which ads are working and which parts of our funnel need help. I like that everything is connected and easy to access from the same place. We have decreased the time lag between each customer visit, and increased the number of closed sales.

I've been using OP since 2017, and I love how everything is simple to navigate and how everything is tag based.  It's so easy to add tags to do a variety of actions, from grouping contacts to tracking behaviors.  Also, the customer support is A+.  The chat feature is incredibly helpful, and you get to talk to real people that are incredibly helpful and responsive.

Sometimes there are features that it just doesn't have, and that can make finding a work around difficult.

If you're working it yourself (I am) then there's a lot to learn because it can do so much! The customer support is live and available a lot of hours, 7 days a week. I've operated from Australia and now the UK and the time difference for customer support hasn't been a problem.

I'm running LinkedIn events using Zoom as the meeting room. LinkedIn event registrations go to Ontraport and Zoom - all communications are run from Ontraport. 
I'm about to start running Facebook Ads and I'm able to hook up Ontraport to the Facebook custom audience to keep it updated. 
Payment for one-payments, payment plans and recurring payments can all be run through Ontraport.
I'm using my own custom domain and building web pages in Ontraport with a very intuitive and easy-to-use page builder.
I'm doing a lot more than I ever believed I could do. When I need help it's there.

Ontraport has been amazing since day one! I Iove that it is a one-stop shop for marketing, landing pages, facilitating transactions, and tracking analytics. Their customer support is TOP TIER. Email marketing is not one of my strengths and I often use the live chat feature to ask questions and better understand certain features. Each time I have utilized the live chat, the support agent thoroughly answered my questions and even sent over screen-recorded play-by-play instructions. Royce by far has been the absolute best. He was not only thorough but went above and beyond, responded promptly, and was personable. Ontraport is a great CRM but what sets it apart in my opinion is the customer support.

There are some features that you would think would be offered that are not. However, there is a forum where you can submit suggestions, some of which are implemented later on. It's nice to have a voice as a consumer and Ontraport truly want to build a platform that meets my needs.

I've been using Ontraport for the last four years and the value it's added to our business has been HUGE! From a small database, admittedly in several different manual locations, we've grown to a community of over 17,000 people. We couldn't have done this with our polished automations, systematic nurture sequences plus the several custom objects we've been able to create to run our Education program, Events & Registration processes etc etc. 

Ontraport Support is a great tool when glitches occur or when we're trying to push the boundaries of our systems and get caught out.

We run into a couple of glitches from time to time surrounding conditional display blocks, the speed of automations and the new dynamic features. Mostly these things can be overcome with a slightly different setup than first intended, or are on the roadmap for future improvements.

The best introductions to our business, apart from overall streamlining has definitely been the custom objects. **What do you like best about Ontraport?**

It is such a useful tool for affiliate marketing.I appreciated the exposure to the tool and realized the value and importance of it to business.I have not tested other competitors in the market

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

It requires a big investment than I can afford to maintain.Just maybe an affordable alternative.Well make a cheaper version would be good.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Affiliate Marketing customer management and it help me understand my customers better in a smarter way.

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

Ontraport: I've used many CRM programs over my career.  Ontraport does some things well. 

It is well organized, and you have the ability to customize fields to make it even more efficient. One of the things you need to do in a CRM is to find what you are looking for quickly. If you've got 5000 entries, you don't want to spend a lot of time scrolling. The Ontraport search function lets you find what you are looking for immediately. That saves time. 

The email system provides good metrics to see how changes impact your open and click-through rates. 

When I first started using Ontraport, I needed some tech support. The people in tech support were fast, friendly, and helpful. That matters. No matter how dumb my question was, they helped me.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

This could be my lack of user expertise. When creating an email, I would copy another email and then edit. Because of the similarities in email campaigns, that was really helpful. But sometimes, If I deleted a paragraph, my font size and color would change. I always struggled with the icons for font color and background color and often confused them. That could just be me.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting a lot of emails out quickly with good metrics was helpful. Knowing who opted out of each email was also helpful. I could see who opened and who opted out of each email. That is great data.

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

Ontraport is literally everything you can think of. We've taken the things we;ve needed in a CRM, Marketing, Automation, Deal Leads, Blogs, and Multiple Website creation and made it into an overal business platform. We would be paying 832x the amount anywhere else.... eeehhhhh hmmm... forcesales.com. Nevertheless, the team is absolutely amazing and Im well known within their coroporate office because I use the hell out of their live chat :) I look forward to continue to build on their platform, especially as they continue to innovate past everyone else in the field.

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

The dynanmic content can be a bit more user friendly but its still a great solution.

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CRM and beyond

I would say that using triggers and grouping contacts is the most challenging for me. No matter how many times I ask, it's always a confusing process. I love everything else!

**What do you like best about Ontraport?**

The chat support is outstanding. The software itself does so many things well, it's pretty wild. It's helped me start and grow my business, and allowing me to build the infrastructure for scaling. It's amazing !

**What do you dislike about Ontraport?**

The automation maps can be confusing at first. There's such a massive blank canvass, it can be challenging to know where to start. I had to look off the site for some creative examples to get some inspiration (3rd party developer/education).

**What problems is Ontraport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's automating my client onboarding for my membership program, the delivery of membership material, and reaching new clients (funnel automation.)
