What I like most about 7taps is how it forces one to think about what really matters in terms of the content being delivered. A lot of thought has gone into producing a tool that has micro learning at its core. Less is more. It forces the designer to think about the end user - there is no space in a 7taps course for overly wordy descriptions just for the sake of a "screen count".

7taps lends itself very well for production of job aids that an employee can call up at any time to follow a procedure or get a quick reminder of some key points of a traditional elearning or classroom based course.

I think every L&D department should invest in 7taps to counteract the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve that means within a couple of weeks of someone completing a course, they will forget almost all of the content.

Use 7taps on a monthly basis to deliver reminders of core training delivered during an induction programme, for example.

There is a lot to like about 7taps, For starters, I appreciate how easy it is to use. You can be up and running in no time, even if you don't have any technical expertise or design skills. Anyone can create great microlearning, quickly with 7taps.

Another big plus is that you can work right in your web browser and are not required to download/install any sofware. So no need to manage updates or run an intensive programs on your computer.

The built-in templates and layouts are also helpful and.a big time saver. With a variety of content types, including multimedia and interactive layouts,anyone can create effective microlearning courses. That includes the ability to add knowledge checks and collect feedback from your learners which is a must have for any good learning program.

Finally, I also appreciate that 7taps is regularly adding new improvements and features.The recent addition of Learning Paths is an excellent example that adds the capability of leveraging the spacing effect to improve my learning results. By make it easy to deliver repeated learning points over time through email, text, and Slack to learners they've made a huge contribution to the sucess of learning projects.

The one minor thing on my wishlist for 7taps is that the content could be sized up for bigger screens. Since it was designed for mobile devices, some content like videos, are constrainted to a small display area. This is a very user friendly system. I had one session with Emma, a few questions for Kate and I was on my way to creating several 7Taps sessions. It is intutive and user friendly. I was able to upload images, pdfs and content so easily. The AI ability as well as the Transform mode have been my favorites. We are using 7Taps as an adjunct to an LMS... Just love it! 7taps is able to target current audiences by making sure that microlearning courses fit into the resolution of smartphones. It allows you to create bits and pieces of information that people can digest in a snap. It also gives you options to customize the looks of the mini-courses you create. It's microlearning features only target smartphones due to its resolution. There is no way for you to change the resolution to fit a desktop or tablet. While there are options to customize the mini-courses, the options that you have are very limited. Aesthetically, 7taps is a good choice. But from a business-perspective, it's not necessarily a bang for one's buck. If you really intend to deliver self-paced, mini- courses, look for a different LMS. 7taps is only good for those who just intend to publish 2-5-minute pieces of information.
