**What do you like best about 3CX?**

3CX has been easy to use and works great for our daily communication. Setup took a bit of learning, but support and guides helped a lot. We use it every day—it has all the features we need, and it connects well with our other tools. Overall, it’s been a reliable and cost-effective solution.

**What do you dislike about 3CX?**

There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, especially with the admin settings. Some advanced features can be tricky to configure without support. Also, occasional updates can cause minor issues that need troubleshooting.

**What problems is 3CX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

3CX has solved our communication issues by giving us a reliable phone system that works in the office and remotely. It’s helped us stay connected as a team, manage calls more efficiently, and save money compared to traditional phone systems.

3CX is helping us solve the challenge of managing a distributed phone system by providing a unified and centralized platform for user extension management. With 3CX, we can easily configure, update, and monitor all user extensions from a single dashboard, which significantly reduces administrative overhead and ensures consistency across the organization.

Additionally, 3CX is particularly beneficial for supporting remote work. The system allows us to deploy and manage remote extensions seamlessly, giving remote employees full access to the phone system as if they were in the office. This has greatly improved communication, flexibility, and productivity across our teams, regardless of location.

I changed app interface and now its looks even better, search function improved.

I think it would be a great improvement to show country flags as emojis when dialing numbers from that country.

Having worked with various calling software over the years, I find that 3CX excels in solving integration issues due to its user-friendly integration process. Unlike other programs where I've encountered difficulties in retaining call recordings, I've been using 3CX for over a year without experiencing such problems.

**What do you like best about 3CX?**

What I like the most, and users also praise, is its dashboard, which makes it easy to visualize the current scenario—whether we're having a bad day with many more abandoned calls than answered ones—and also something very useful: seeing the number of ongoing calls and calls waiting to be answered by agents.

**What do you dislike about 3CX?**

Honestly, I don't have anything specific to say that I dislike, but if I had to mention something, it would be about certain reports. After the 3CX version was changed (it had a general update), many useful reports are no longer available, and I'm not sure if they'll return in the future.

**What problems is 3CX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Actually, I've never needed to contact 3CX support directly.

Easy to use, lightweight, highly compatible, very practical in its configuration, fully compatible with various telephone system providers. Extremely accessible for mass training of staff.

The design is perhaps a bit outdated for current times, as it feels like the software has been frozen in time in terms of its visual appearance, which gives the impression of being an obsolete system.

This program has supported effective communication among employees during remote work, allowing them to stay connected through their extensions even from home. It also adds agility when moving around within the company and contributes to optimizing the workspace by eliminating the need for old IP phones.

The pricing is very competitive and the ease of deployment is suprising.
You can customize and find tons of options to fine tune it to your environment's requirements.

The product is often updated and the GUI might change quite a bit which will take time to adjust. Other than that I can't think of anything that wasn't yet addressed by 3CX in the recent versions.

3CX allows us to have a secure and Cloud-based phone system to manage our support operations and the internal communication.

The 3CX SMB is free for upto 10 users. It integrate well with Twilio SIP trunk and other providers.

It's a bit tricky to set up especially if the company requires multiple ring groups and digital receptionist.

I set up 3CX for my own organisation and other clients, I find it easy to implement and integrate with other SIP trunnk provider. It helps businesses simplify their phone system and get virtual staff from other countries use it as ordinary phone using mobile app and desktop app.

The price is 2nd to none for sure and it does work well on call quality.

Misses alot of key features especially for call centers and reporting is very bland

It helped us save money on phones and you get more features than the traditional phone lines we had. They are continuing to upgrade which is good means they are investing in themselves.

**What do you like best about 3CX?**

After evaluating many options 3CX proved to offer most bang for the buck.
Particularly liked that you pay for simultaneous calls as opposed to per device which really suits the way our business works.
A good quality phone system says a lot about a company and 3CX delivers. It was easy to integrate with our company database to do advanced features like routing calls to customers account managers without having to use DDIs.

None so far, it works really well and was very easy to set up and maintain.

It provides a great phone system. Call quality and a rich feature set.

The ease of both implementation and use along with the customer support that is available with any questions. When we switched to the 3cx system it was great because we are able to log into different ques as needed.

That you have to have different extentions for different ques.

The ability to set up different ques that are needed for different departments; such as RC , PET, and IR just to name a few that I am using personally within the company.

nothing I think it is the perfect phone system.

Just reduced the cost from having 3 full PBX in 3 different Offices to having just one installed on a server in the serverack in the office and everyone can take their phone home with them and work from anywhere.

  ### 19. After 10 years I threw in the towel and left

**What do you like best about 3CX?**

New features each year.  Has a good address book and integration with smart phones.  I liked being able to use older desktop phones that the users were familiar with.  It didn't drop support for those phones and force me to buy new models.

**What do you dislike about 3CX?**

The pricing continued to increase each year.  I started at $150 a year then it grew to over $700.  My perpetual license was switched without notice to a required subscription license.  Support said I was supposed to read a forum post.  

I could never get the share screen feature to work in the web meetings.  Seemed to be firewall issues on either end.

**What problems is 3CX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Modern day always updated phone system running in the cloud with integrated address book.

I don't really have a downside for 3CX. The only thing I can think of would be possibly integrating/archiving the chat with Teams.

3CX is our primary phone system for our company as well as the clients that have it running as well. The internal company chat is highly used and great with informal communication. Video conferences and webinars are great to have with little to no setup on the receivers end.

Everything can be found all in one place.  I don't have to go searching around multiple sites or applications to find what I'm looking for.

**What do you dislike about 3CX?**

Reporting is still lacking a bit.  For instance - on my wallboard I can see my average wait time but cannot view this number in any reports

Our call queues help us manage our help desk be more efficient.  We use the live chat feature on our website and it allowed us to eliminate another 3rd party for this.  We use the video conferencing feature to host webinars with our clients.

I was able to create a bridge to connect our 3CX PBX with our factory's PBX in Italy.  We can now reach our partners by simply dialing their extension.

**What problems is 3CX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

3CX replaced our Altigen system and we absolutely love it.  We are (were from what I can tell) a bronze partner, going for Silver, and with 5 deployments in the pipeline, when we were suddenly and without warning, banned from the forums, and our bronze partnership removed along with all systems in our partner login.  Including onces that we have sold and deployed along withour own. Again, this came without warning or causality.

According to this forum post or Reddit, Nick, the CEO, controls bans and such, and we are not the only ones that have experienced this.  This started when my co worker, and main admin for our phone systems asked a question on the 3CX forum, he got a notification that he was banned for "Spam".  I could still log on to the forums and our partnership was still intact.  Then when logging on this morning, I had to agree to terms of service for the forums again, fine, I get those get updated.  But the partnership is now gone, and all systems have dissapeared, again, without warning or causality.  

Referenced in the post on reddit was to post a review on here, G2, so here I am, trying to get some help through a review.  

Let me be very clear, I LOVE THIS SYSTEM!! Its awesome, very easy to deploy and maintain, great user interface, but as far as the pettyness of this ban...... I am not sure how to feel about that.  Again, I have 5 deploymens in the pipeline, but after this issue, its very tempting to go in a different direction, i dont want to, but if this is the kind of service when you ask a question about support, then its not worth sticking around.
