What do you like best about Duck Creek Policy?

DuckCreek has tools like Author, Util, Trace Monitor and DCT Server. So, it is easy to use because of these tools. Debugging is also easy because of Trace Monitor. UI can also be customized so the client can customize it according to his choice. DuckCreek is also very secure because of its inclusive, integrated working environment. What do you dislike about Duck Creek Policy?

DusckCreek does not operate with cloud technology and needs to be made compatible with cloud technology. All knowledge about Duckcreek can be taken only from Duckcreek University and Solution Center. It gives businesses a primary readymade platform that we can customize according to our needs, and It is very flexible to manage different lines of businesses. What do you like best about Duck Creek Policy?

Easy to understand and convenient for Policy creation, claim management, billings and Duck Creek insights. It is a great tool for policy configuration. Integration with other technologies such as .Net, Java, and third-party APIs is possible with the use of CBO, and the user can drive the product according to the business requirement. What do you dislike about Duck Creek Policy?

One of the concerning things about Duck Creek is its user interface and user experience. While navigating through the product, the user does not have full control over the product. Whenever a problem arrives in a particular part of the policy, like Billings, the person working on another product, like Author or Express, does not have to worry. The issue can be fixed independently without disturbing the other teams working on the Policy or Development. This has a lot of benefits such as Time Saving, Resource Management & thus, Money Saving. Duck Creek is one of the great tools for policy configuration. The architecture of Duck Creek is easy to extend & highly configurable & easy to develop according to the business requirements. What do you dislike about Duck Creek Policy?

Sometimes Duck Creek captures incorrect data from the previous database, or sometimes the inputs provided by the user get lost during back-end processing, which makes it difficult for the product to run according to expectations. Complex configurations require CBO implementation, which consumes a lot of time. Whenever there is a need to search for anything, Duck Creek Solution Center is the only thing we have, as this is not an open source software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the crucial parts of the Insurance industry is configuring the complex Rating Algorithms & Duck Creek does a great job here by providing various features to the development, such as implementing custom CBOs and configuring custom Web APIs. Building the code logic and handling the Example Tools is quiet easy which provide a very generic support.

The DC tool is very user friendly and give many features to the user which other tools like guidewire doesn't have. Duck Creek is the new evolution of Insurance Domain.

The API integration is a difficult part in development. In the upgraded version of Duck Creek, we cannot add any new Stored Procedure to the database if required. Few Out Of Sequence scenarios are difficult to handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Duck Creek provides many Out Of Box features which makes things easy to code/develop. There's no need to build very code from scratch, we can use the pre-defined groups and fit our created groups into them. While premium calculation we can tie up and inline premiums of Line and Risk level all together in the Policy Premium just with the right path. What do you like best about Duck Creek Policy?

Duck Creek is a very economic insurance platform where we can use most of the services cheaper than other other insurance platforms such as guidewire and majesco. It is very easy to use and even new joinees can learn it very quickly. We have solution center where we can find solutions for most of the Duck Creek problems. For Duck Creek there are not enough resources available and due to this we stuck in complex situation. Sometimes mapping the fields becomes too critical for private and public fields. After the latest upgrade, it is very difficult to add any stored procedures in the database. Integration of the APIs are quite complex in Duck Creek which should be updated.
