Duck Creek is cheaper than Guidewire and has almost all the functionalities which Guidewire. What do you dislike about Duck Creek Policy? After the new upgrade we are not allowed to make changes in the database, make any stored procedures, any tables. It hampers our ability to work with the database side os appication. We can't find the tough solutions of the the duck creek problems in solution center. Duck Creek provides most of the commonly used Line of Business as out of the box. The user can make changes on top of the already present files, known as base files. I use Duck Creek in my work environment for P&C insurance & I found that the way Duck Creek handles the operations regarding business requirements is excellent. I dislike the User Experience that the Duck Creek Policy provides. In the present time, everything is getting better, but Duck Creek Policy is not so good in terms of UI-UX. What problems is Duck Creek Policy solving and how is that benefiting you? As mentioned earlier, I use Duck Creek Policy in my work environment for P&C Insurance. Throughout my experience, the best thing about Duck Creek is the way it provides the ability to design a product according to Business Requirements. Writing from the perspective of Duck Creek Developer, the whole creation is divided into multiple sub-products like Author, Express, Billings & many more, which makes it easy to manage & maintain. Whenever a problem arrives in a particular part of the policy, like Billings, the person working on another product, like Author or Express, does not have to worry. The issue can be fixed independently without disturbing the other teams working on the Policy or Development. This has a lot of benefits such as Time Saving, Resource Management & thus, Money Saving.
