How Does G2 Rank Survey Software Products?

Why You Can Trust G2's Software Rankings:

  • 30 Analysts and Data Experts
  • 154,300+ Authentic Reviews
  • 810+ Products
  • Unbiased Rankings

G2's software rankings are built on verified user reviews, rigorous moderation, and a consistent research methodology maintained by a team of analysts and data experts. Each product is measured using the same transparent criteria, with no paid placement or vendor influence. While reviews reflect real user experiences, which can be subjective, they offer valuable insight into how software performs in the hands of professionals. Song7

Song7 is a worship planning app built for small and volunteer-led church worship teams: one simple place for songs, setlists and chord charts that everyone can reach. Import songs from ChordPro files, plain text or a photo of a paper chord sheet. Organize the shared song library with tags, build setlists with drag and drop, set a key for each song, and add notes. Changes sync in real time across the team's devices. Musicians read charts from a digital music stand with dark mode and guitar chord diagrams. Presentation mode shows full-screen lyrics on a connected screen or projector. A metronome and tuner are built in. Song media can include backing tracks and synchronized stems, MusicXML sheet music, PDF and image attachments, and reference recordings. Export songs anytime, including ChordPro. Song7 runs in modern browsers on iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Chromebook, and is installable as a PWA. The app is available in English and Danish. The free plan includes every feature for up to 10 members, 300 songs and 50 MB of storage, with no time limit or credit card required. Plus costs $5 or €5 per team per month for up to 50 members, 5,000 songs and 1 GB. Pro costs $10 or €10 per team per month for up to 100 members, 5,000 songs and 2 GB. Paid plans have a 30-day trial. Song7 focuses on worship songs, charts and setlists. It does not include giving, check-ins or member directories. Loaded content can ride out brief connection drops, but it is not a fully offline app. CCLI usage can be exported as CSV for manual reporting; there is no direct CCLI integration.

How it works

Steeple

Steeple helps a church follow up with the people who visit. Connection Card: the church scans Sunday's paper connection cards, a staff member or volunteer approves what was read, and each person lands in Planning Center with the church's own follow-up workflow started. Online cards, from a link or a QR code, go through the same review. No typing. Web Builder: a church website that stays current. Service times, locations and branding are set once in Steeple and every page that shows them follows. It runs at the church's own web address and is edited by staff, with no developer. Mobile Tap: an NFC or QR sticker on the seat opens the church's hub on a visitor's phone. Only Connection Card uses Planning Center. Web Builder and Mobile Tap work with any church management system, or none. The connection card builder is free to design and print a card.

Surfacely

Surfacely is painting business software covering the job from first lead to final invoice. Contractors measure job sites, generate quotes and track profitability. It works offline, solving signal issues on site. Surfaces are priced by painting method and preparation by surface condition, and photo analysis flags unmeasured areas and defects. Clients can estimate their own job. The contractor sends a link and the client walks the property on their phone, photographing and measuring it area by area, inside and out. It comes back as a measured scope the contractor prices in one pass — qualifying the job and removing a site visit. Clients can also start one unprompted, sending a contractor a lead that arrives already measured. Once won, Surfacely generates crew briefs covering scope, safety and materials. Crews log labor and materials on site against a live budget. On completion it reports margins, win rates, scope creep and productivity.

SurveyKiller

SurveyKiller helps small and mid-sized teams collect feedback without the usual friction on either side. Build a survey with 15 question types across multiple pages, or describe your goal in one sentence and have AI draft it, then edit every question before it goes out. Send it as a public link, a QR code, or a tracked email invitation. Every recipient gets a unique, single-use link, so you know exactly who answered and nobody responds twice. The answering experience sets it apart. Turn on AI answer assistance and a respondent can say or type one short comment; SurveyKiller drafts their answers for them to review, edit and confirm. Nothing is submitted on their behalf. Respondents never need an account and never pay: AI costs sit with the creator's plan. Results arrive analyzed, not raw: sentiment on open text, recurring themes, and NPS from a pinned 0-10 question. Build your own dashboards from over 40 chart and widget types, or ask questions about your data in plain English.
