What do you dislike about codebeamer?

As far as using Codebeamer, I don't remember anything I didn't like about the product. My observation is that it may not be as well known as a competitor so the pool of people to hire or work with using CodeBeamer may not be as large. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is codebeamer solving and how is that benefiting you?

I don't currently use Codebeamer. The main features that stood out to me was easy tracing of requirements, the ability to collaborate with other members of the team, and the ability to export requirements to Word so a stakeholder could modify and then load the document back into CodeBeamer requirements. It's an amazing and helpful platform, i would say that how it centralizes and connects all aspect of product development. There are too many mandatory fields to fill out when creating or updating items, such as Platform, Domain, Priority, and Spend Efforts. It requires a learning curve to understand what values are expected in each field. What do you dislike about codebeamer?

Interface can be slow until caches are built up

Review system could be better, missing simple features like scrolling through the list of requirements to see what comments have been added

Draw.io plug-in for the editor is an old version and is missing a lot of features, causing usability problems with diagrams.

PTC are still getting used to owning Codebeamer which causes a slow response for purchasing and licensing issues and tech support is patchy while they go through this transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We need an ALM tool capable of working with us (rather than against us) for a highly complex medical device development, across all disciplines from human factors to mechanical, electronics and software as well as risk.
