“Rebelle 7 Pro: Unmatched Realistic Natural Media in an Intuitive, Smooth Experience”
What do you like best about Rebelle?

I started using Rebelle 7 Pro because it offers an unmatched, realistic emulation of natural art media (watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, etc.), including believable interaction with the digital paper, canvas, or painting ground. The cost of owning it is very reasonable compared to other software that offers almost the same features.

It’s built in a very intuitive way for a traditional artist like me, so a steep learning curve is basically non-existent. I love the interface and the overall user experience it provides. The software runs smoothly and rarely bugs out.

I also like that I can easily export to PSD format if I ever want to do extra adjustments using Photoshop or Affinity Photo tools. That makes it highly compatible with most major image manipulation software. The integrated timelapse feature is great as well, and I love how the recording system works—specifically, that it only records the strokes. This makes it possible for me to leave recording on without worrying that a steady frame will record nothing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

The digital papers are actually expensive compared to the production cost of making these digital papers. I wish they increase more the number of colors from an image. The current maximum number of colors generated from image feels very limiting. I wish there is also a way to save workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rebelle solving and how is that benefiting you?

I’m a traditional artist. Even though I’ve used Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Sketchbook, Corel Painter, ArtRage, and others, none of them really gave me that traditional feel when drawing or painting. Rebelle is the one that finally gave me the traditional experience I’d been looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Effortless Architectural Design”
What do you like best about AutoCAD?

I like using AutoCAD, especially for its co-ordination capabilities with all the consultants, because it's so widely used all over the world. The X-ref feature is really helpful as it allows me to change one drawing and have it update everywhere. I also think Dynamic Blocks are super easy to use; once you make one, you can use it easily for the project. Plus, printing quality drawings in any scale is a feature I appreciate. Overall, AutoCAD has saved me a lot of time over the 10 years I've been using it. But it expensive if you are an individual want to buy it. Almost the support from the customer service is always not to effective. But overall still best for architectural drawings. I never use any AI feature so I dont know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AutoCAD?

Replacing the blocks like in Revit. I would love if I could simply replace blocks. Like in Revit you can choose wall type by the wall category drop down, but in CAD you don’t have that option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AutoCAD solving and how is that benefiting you?

AutoCAD saves me a lot of time. The X-ref feature updates changes across drawings, Dynamic Blocks simplify reuse, and I can easily print quality drawings in any scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Seamless Switch from AUTODESK with Great Pricing and Excellent Support”
What do you like best about ZWCAD?

It's a seemless transition from AUTODESK and they have very good pricing as I do not need all the rubbish autodesk bundle with the software. The straight purchase option is perfect as I do not like subscription models at all and have changed a lot of my company stuff to other vendors because of this.

I need a basic 2D drawing programme and this far exceeds what I need in usability and features with a very well designed interface.

The client support and interaction has to date been amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZWCAD?

Not found any negatives thus far and I have really tried to break it by opening all CAD versions I have going back 20 years on some multi level buildings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZWCAD solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cost of the software was a huge factor as I can get the package for a once off budgetary amount and not have to keep paying forever. It allows me to service my clients with a professional item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Unique Interface, Synchronous Design, and Great Support Boost Efficiency”
What do you like best about Designcenter Solid Edge?

I really like the unique interface, especially the Synchronous Design and design intent. It helps me integrate parts much faster, and other platforms don’t have this feature. Integration with other platforms is also easy thanks to the multi-platform and format support. It works well with big assemblies, and the performance mode is great when working on complex drawings. Working with APS Industrial to get the best pricing makes it worth the purchase for sure. APS Industrial is also providing excellent support with Siemens, and the AI Intelligence features that have recently been added are increasing work efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Designcenter Solid Edge?

Sometimes it can be unstable with product add-ons going into major simulations, guess this could be expected but further development for that would be great as we use that a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Streamlined Collaboration and Version Control Made Easy”
What do you like best about Altium Develop?

What I consider the most helpful thing about Altium Develop is the built-in version control and structured collaboration it brings to hardware design. It makes it much easier to track changes, manage revisions, and see who modified what without relying on manual file naming or shared drives.

I don’t have to worry about losing changes, overwriting someone else’s work, or digging through old file versions to figure out what happened. Everything is tracked clearly, and collaboration feels more organized. Since it works directly within Altium Designer through Altium 365, it feels like a seamless part of the design process rather than an extra tool to maintain. Overall, it just makes teamwork smoother and reduces the friction that usually comes with managing complex PCB projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Altium Develop?

One thing I don’t like about Altium Designer is that it can feel heavy and complex, especially for new users. The learning curve is steep, and sometimes simple tasks take multiple steps if you’re not already familiar with the software.

Another downside is that bugs can sometimes appear with no clear way to fix them, and there isn’t much information or guidance available to resolve these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Altium Develop solving and how is that benefiting you?

Altium Develop helps eliminate version confusion and makes collaboration much easier. It keeps track of changes, so I can always see who did what, and it speeds up design reviews and the process of getting feedback. Overall, it makes working on PCB projects feel less stressful, more organized, and easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SOLIDWORKS?

As a mechanical engineer, I find that it gives me the freedom and ease to create 2D drawings and 3D models with lots of shortcuts, compared with AutoCAD and other software. Part assembly in SOLIDWORKS is also very user-friendly and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SOLIDWORKS?

Rebuild errors. I think SOLIDWORKS should integrate a system that can detect rebuild errors and help resolve the issue. Sometimes, while I’m applying commands, it shows rebuild errors, and after that I’m not able to find where the errors are coming from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SOLIDWORKS solving and how is that benefiting you?

SOLIDWORKS helps reduce the cost of prototyping. With this software, I can create almost any part, choose materials using the Appearances section, and then run different types of analysis with SOLIDWORKS Simulation.

What do you dislike about SketchUp?

The major factor is the 'bug splat". Despite its versions and performance have upgraded tremendously over the years, SketchUp is still prone to crashes when models become overly heavy with un-purged components.. Also, complex geometry cannot be easily created without third-party plugins. For a tool that started as free/affordable option, the recurring pro subscription pricing may feel steep for solo practitioners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Simplifying 3D Design and Prototyping in One Platform.”
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

What I like best about Autodesk Fusion is that it brings design, simulation, and manufacturing into a single platform, which makes the entire workflow smooth and efficient. I can create a 3D model, make quick design changes, and directly test or prepare it for manufacturing without switching between multiple software tools.

The parametric modeling feature is especially helpful because it allows easy edits even at later stages of the design. I also like the clean and intuitive interface, which makes it beginner-friendly while still offering advanced tools for complex designs. For students and engineers, the availability of cloud saving and collaboration makes project work more organized and accessible from anywhere. The best part for me about the fusion 360 is that you can design a whole Electronic components in 3d , also we can design PCBs and use auto routing feature all in single platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

One thing I dislike about Autodesk Fusion is that it is highly dependent on an internet connection for sign-in and cloud features, which can be inconvenient when working with limited or unstable connectivity. Sometimes the software also feels resource-heavy, especially on mid-range systems, causing slowdowns during complex assemblies or simulations.

Another drawback is that some advanced features are locked behind paid plans, which can be limiting for students or individual users who want to explore deeper CAM or simulation capabilities. Occasional updates also change the interface slightly, which takes some time to adjust to.

And the last and most important drawback is its platform fees! Like paying 1 lakh + per year in India ,is I think can be difficult for some designers and engineers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?

Autodesk Fusion solves the problem of having to use multiple separate tools for design, testing, and manufacturing by bringing everything into one integrated platform.

From an electronics perspective, it helps in designing accurate enclosures, brackets, and mechanical parts for electronic projects such as sensor housings, control boxes, and PCB enclosures. Being able to visualize dimensions in 3D ensures that electronic components fit properly, reducing physical rework and material waste. This has helped me move from concept to a ready-to-fabricate design much faster. For general use, Fusion streamlines the entire design workflow by allowing quick modifications through parametric modeling and validating designs using basic simulation before manufacturing. This saves time, improves design accuracy, and boosts confidence before prototyping. Overall, it has made my project development process more efficient, organized, and reliable. What do you like best about MicroStation?

What I really like about artificial intelligence and chat AI is how quickly it can provide useful information and help solve problems. It is available anytime and can explain complex topics in a simple way. It also helps with writing, learning new things, and improving productivity. I appreciate how interactive it feels, almost like having a knowledgeable assistant ready to help whenever I need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MicroStation?

One thing I don’t like about artificial intelligence is that it is not always perfectly accurate and sometimes gives information that needs to be double-checked. It also cannot fully understand human emotions or personal situations like a real person can. Because of that, conversations can sometimes feel less natural, and you still need human judgment when using AI tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MicroStation solving and how is that benefiting you?

MicroStation helps solve problems related to technical drawing, design accuracy, and project coordination. It allows us to create precise engineering drawings and manage complex infrastructure projects more efficiently. By using MicroStation, we reduce errors, improve collaboration between team members, and save time during the design and documentation process. “Impressive 3D Visuals and Rendering Quality for Client Presentations”
What do you like best about Coohom?

I started using Coohom recently for interior design work, and my first impression was that the interface felt a little different compared to other tools I’ve used. It took me some time to understand the layout and features properly. In the beginning, I had to explore a bit before getting comfortable with the workflow. After spending some time on it, I began to appreciate the platform more. The 3D visuals and rendering quality are quite impressive, especially for client presentations. The designs look realistic and help explain concepts clearly, which is important in interior projects. Once I understood how things are organized, the process became smoother. It definitely requires a little patience at the start, but the final output makes it worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coohom?

One thing I didn’t like initially about Coohom was that the interface felt a bit overwhelming. Since the layout is different from some other design tools, it took me time to understand where certain settings and controls were located. In the beginning, this slowed down my workflow. I also felt that some features are not very intuitive at first. You sometimes have to try a few times or watch tutorials to fully understand how a specific tool works. For someone using it for the first time, that adjustment period can be slightly frustrating. Once I got used to it, things became easier, but the initial learning phase could definitely be smoother Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Coohom solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an interior designer with around two years of experience, one of the biggest challenges I face is presenting ideas clearly to clients. Many clients find it difficult to imagine a space just by looking at 2D drawings or explanations. Coohom helps solve that problem by allowing me to create proper 3D designs and realistic renders that make the concept much easier to understand. It saves me time compared to doing everything manually. I can quickly build layouts, experiment with furniture placement, and adjust materials to show different options. This makes client discussions smoother because they can visually see the changes instead of just imagining them. The designs are quite accurate to a good extent, which helps in planning and giving better quotations. Another thing that has benefited me is that Coohom works well on both laptop and mobile. Sometimes I need to quickly show a design or check a project while I’m not in the office, and it runs smoothly. That flexibility really helps in dayto day work. One feature I genuinely find very useful is the refer and earn program. It’s actually a good initiative because as designers we often connect with other designers, contractors, or students. Being able to recommend a tool that I’m already using and getting some benefit from it is a nice advantage. It feels practical, not just a marketing gimmick. For me, Coohom solves the problem of visualization, client communication, and presentation quality. It helps me create better-looking interior concepts and explain them confidently. While no software is perfect, it has definitely made my design process more efficient and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Practical, Flexible Editing Tool for image editing and content creation”
What do you like best about GIMP?

I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, Manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content, so I regularly need image editing for diet charts, before and after transformation posts, educational graphics, thumbnails, and social media content. what I like most about GIMP is that it provides many useful editing tools in one place and feels practical for daily use. In the beginning, it was not very easy to understand, but after regular use it became comfortable and now I can handle most editing work without much difficulty.

I use it frequently for creating before and after weight transformation posts, adding weight details, editing thumbnails, adding text on images, and preparing simple educational visuals for social media. Features like crop, resize, text tool, layer editing, and brightness adjustment are especially useful in my daily work. While editing transformation posts, the layer feature helps a lot because it allows me to manage before and after images, text, and highlights separately without affecting the full design. Background cleaning and color adjustment also help make posts look clearer and more professional.

performance is good for normal editing work, and the desktop version runs smoothly in my experience even while working on multiple images. The number of features is enough for image editing, thumbnails, posters, and social media content without feeling overly complicated. It also supports different image formats, so working with files from other tools becomes easy and fits well into my daily workflow. Overall, it feels practical, flexible, and very useful for daily health content, clinic-related work, and social media editing.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GIMP?

In the beginning, interface feels little confusing because there are many tools and options on screen, so it takes some time to understand where things are. Sometimes while working on bigger images or multiple layers, performance can feel little slow on normal system, specially when many edits are open together. It is not a major problem but happens sometimes during longer editing work. Another small thing is that some advanced editing steps are not very easy for beginners and I had to watch few tutorials to understand them properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GIMP solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps me solve the problem of basic to medium level image editing without needing very expensive software. In my daily work I need to create health education posts, edit thumbnails, make before and after transformation images and prepare visuals for social media, so it helps me manage all this work in one place. earlier, small editing tasks like adding text, resizing images, cleaning background or adjusting brightness were taking more time because I had to use different tools. Now most of these things can be done in one software, which makes work more easy and organized.

it also helps in making transformation posts more clear and professional. I can properly arrange before and after images, add weight details and highlight important points so the content looks more understandable for viewers. Layer editing, crop, resize and text tools are very useful in daily work. It also supports different image formats, so sharing and reusing files becomes simple. overall, it saves time, improves content quality and helps me create better educational and social media content in a more practical way. The software helps a lot by requiring less time to make more productive work. The ability to convert AutoCAD 2D drawings into 3D models easily within Inventor is really handy. Also, the ease of creating structural designs using top-down or top-up assembly methods and having the option of generative design is impressive. The initial setup was very easy. What do you dislike about Inventor?

When I work on large assemblies, Inventor crashes suddenly, and sometimes there's no mouse movement showing. The model feature in drawings for exploded views is not working well. These issues may be resolved by upgrading the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Inventor solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Inventor to create complex 3D parametric models and drawings, resolve issues in existing designs, and easily convert AutoCAD 2D drawings to 3D. Its versatility and interchangeability save me time and enhance productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
