best Benchmark Software.

Benchmark software is a critical tool for evaluating and enhancing computer performance. It gauges the capabilities of hardware components like CPU, GPU, SSD, and more across various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, macOS, and even iOS and Android. By stressing the components through real-world scenarios and stress tests, benchmark software tools measure clock speeds, temperatures, and voltages while assessing factors such as multi-core efficiency, frames per second (FPS), and GPU temperature. The best benchmarking programs adhere to industry standards such as DirectX, Vulkan, and ray tracing, ensuring compatibility with modern technologies and providing a comprehensive assessment of hardware capabilities.
Benchmark results help users, enthusiasts, and professionals make informed hardware upgrades, optimize overclocking settings, and validate improvements. Benchmarking tools can be standalone applications dedicated solely to performance evaluation or integrated as a feature within hardware monitoring software.

“Authentic, Experience-Based Reviews for PRTG Paessler”
What do you like best about Paessler PRTG?

The absolute standout for me is how effortlessly I can spin up custom EXE sensors that pull live Modbus data straight from our legacy PLCs on the factory floor and correlate it with power draw on individual CNC machines. No other tool I’ve tried lets me do that without fighting through three layers of middleware or writing a full-blown agent. Last quarter I had one sensor flagging a 12% spike in vibration on a milling station at 2 a.m.—turned out to be a bearing starting to go. Fixed it during the next shift window instead of losing half a day of production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paessler PRTG?

The hierarchical grouping for OT devices is still pretty manual. Every time maintenance swaps a sensor or adds a new actuator I have to go rebuild the tree structure by hand, and if you forget one sub-group the maps look like a jigsaw with missing pieces. It’s not a deal-breaker, but after a busy shutdown week it feels like busywork that should be smarter by now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Paessler PRTG solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to fly blind on predictive maintenance—machines would just fail and we’d scramble. Now PRTG gives us trending curves I can actually show the maintenance guys in plain English. We cut unplanned downtime by roughly 40 % on the critical lines and shaved about 18 % off our quarterly energy bill because we finally saw which machines were idling at full power overnight. The ROI showed up in the first six months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Efficient monitoring, but reports need improvement”
What do you like best about Checkmk?

I like the way checkmk is configured, especially compared to 10 years ago. Today we have a nice structure with folders, contact groups, server groups, and corresponding rules. I also like the agents of checkmk because they don't perform evaluations, which is a huge advantage in database monitoring when the server is under load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Checkmk?

What I like less are the presentations and the reports; they are somewhat cumbersome and, well, content-wise okay, but could be better in terms of presentation. When creating reports and adding content, error messages sometimes occur, and the format often needs to be adjusted so that, for example, the display in the PDF does not have certain tables exceeding one page, and similar, more visual things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Checkmk solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use checkmk for monitoring and inventory analysis; it quickly reports issues like CPU or disk usage. It helps to intervene proactively and automatically opens tickets, which is especially useful when different departments work together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Why we decided to bet on PandoraFMS”
What do you like best about Pandora FMS?

We have been using Pandora for a long time and we have always liked the support and the way the tool processes data.

For us it was and is very important that reports can be sent and that there is a clear way to display the data on the screen so that a technician and even non-technical personnel can see it.

We monitor SQL tasks, Veeam backups, temperatures, disk array status, raid, equipment through SNMP... everything we can think of.

Nowadays even more things when we use AI.

The performance of the tool is quite good, never saturating the server where it is installed. Furthermore, the price is adjusted and valid for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pandora FMS?

Only two things!

1.- There is no template support to apply to hosts... like in Zabbix or Centreon!

2.- It's a bit difficult to interact with Grafana. (It's possible, but not easy for all users)

3.- Maybe some integrations are missed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pandora FMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us to collect disparate data such as veeam backup status, sql tasks, acronis tasks, failed login, successful login, number of open/sg processes... All disparate data that comes together on the same platform. Based on this data we make decisions and act on the machines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ManageEngine Applications Manager?

What I like best about ManageEngine Applications Manager is its all-in-one monitoring capability, allowing visibility across servers, applications, databases, and cloud services from a single dashboard, combined with its relatively easy setup and user-friendly interface; it supports a wide range of technologies, offers strong alerting and reporting features, helps with quick root cause analysis, and delivers good value for money compared to other enterprise monitoring tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Applications Manager?

What I dislike about ManageEngine Applications Manager is that its initial setup and configuration can be complex and time-consuming, especially for large environments, and the user interface can feel cluttered or outdated at times; additionally, integration with third-party tools is somewhat limited, advanced features may require higher licensing tiers, and users often report excessive alert noise that needs fine-tuning, along with occasional performance issues and gaps in documentation or support responsiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ManageEngine Applications Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

ManageEngine Applications Manager helps solve key problems like lack of visibility across complex IT environments, unexpected downtime, and slow issue resolution by providing real-time monitoring of applications, servers, databases, and cloud services from a single platform; it proactively detects performance issues and bottlenecks before they impact users, enables faster root cause analysis, and reduces mean time to repair, which ultimately improves system availability and user experience. This benefits me by minimizing service disruptions, reducing manual troubleshooting effort, optimizing resource usage, and allowing the team to focus more on proactive maintenance rather than reactive firefighting, leading to better operational efficiency and more reliable business services. “Powerful, Flexible Monitoring with Highly Customizable Dashboards and Alerts”
What do you like best about Zabbix?

I have been using Zabbix for monitoring servers, network devices, VMware infrastructure, and services, and overall it is a powerful open-source monitoring solution for enterprise environments.

What I like most is its flexibility and wide monitoring support. It supports Linux servers, Windows systems, SNMP devices, VMware, cloud services, custom scripts, and application monitoring in a single platform. The dashboard and alerting system are highly customizable, and the proxy architecture helps in monitoring remote locations efficiently.

The template-based monitoring saves a lot of time, especially for infrastructure monitoring. Integration support for AWS, VMware, databases, APIs, and notification platforms like Slack and Telegram is also very useful.

One downside is that the initial setup and trigger configuration can be complex for beginners. The UI feels slightly outdated in some areas, and fine-tuning alerts requires experience to avoid excessive notifications. Many users in the community also mention the learning curve and configuration complexity.

Overall, Zabbix is an excellent monitoring tool for system administrators and enterprises looking for a scalable and cost-effective monitoring solution with advanced customization capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zabbix?

What I dislike about Zabbix is that the initial configuration and trigger setup can be complex for new users. The interface could be more modern, and managing alerts in large environments sometimes requires additional tuning and database optimization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Zabbix solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zabbix helps solve infrastructure monitoring and server health management problems in our environment.

We use it to monitor Linux servers, VMware hosts, services, CPU usage, memory, disk space, network availability, and uptime from a centralized dashboard. It helps identify issues before they become critical by sending real-time alerts and notifications.

The biggest benefit is reduced downtime and faster troubleshooting. Instead of manually checking multiple servers, we can quickly detect performance issues, service failures, or resource spikes from one platform. It also improves response time for incidents and helps maintain service availability for clients and internal systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Clear interface, advanced reporting, and responsive support to oversee the entire infrastructure”
What do you like best about Centreon Infra Monitoring?

A clear interface that allows for quick visualization of the state of our infrastructure. It offers advanced display and reporting options, which makes daily monitoring easier. I also appreciate the ability to supervise all of our equipment thanks to the provided extensions. Finally, the support has been effective and responsive during our contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Centreon Infra Monitoring?

It is not possible to put nothing, so if something really needs to be criticized, it would be the handling of BAM and MBI, which can be off-putting at first. But once the necessary learning stage is passed, the tool becomes truly powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Centreon Infra Monitoring solving and how is that benefiting you?

Centreon allows us to have a comprehensive view of the health status of our infrastructure and to detect many incidents before they become real problems. The assistance in diagnosing during serious incidents is also a major asset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
