The hierarchical grouping for OT devices is still pretty manual. What I like less are the presentations and the reports; they are somewhat cumbersome and, well, content-wise okay, but could be better in terms of presentation. When creating reports and adding content, error messages sometimes occur, and the format often needs to be adjusted so that, for example, the display in the PDF does not have certain tables exceeding one page, and similar, more visual things. I use checkmk for monitoring and inventory analysis; it quickly reports issues like CPU or disk usage. It helps to intervene proactively and automatically opens tickets, which is especially useful when different departments work together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Only two things!

1.- There is no template support to apply to hosts... like in Zabbix or Centreon!

2.- It's a bit difficult to interact with Grafana. (It's possible, but not easy for all users)

It helps us to collect disparate data such as veeam backup status, sql tasks, acronis tasks, failed login, successful login, number of open/sg processes... What I dislike about ManageEngine Applications Manager is that its initial setup and configuration can be complex and time-consuming, especially for large environments, and the user interface can feel cluttered or outdated at times; additionally, integration with third-party tools is somewhat limited, advanced features may require higher licensing tiers, and users often report excessive alert noise that needs fine-tuning, along with occasional performance issues and gaps in documentation or support responsiveness. While the platform is powerful, initial configuration and fine-tuning can take time, especially for complex environments. Some advanced features have a learning curve, and dashboard customization could be more flexible in certain use cases. What I dislike about Zabbix is that the initial configuration and trigger setup can be complex for new users. The interface could be more modern, and managing alerts in large environments sometimes requires additional tuning and database optimization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zabbix helps solve infrastructure monitoring and server health management problems in our environment.

We use it to monitor Linux servers, VMware hosts, services, CPU usage, memory, disk space, network availability, and uptime from a centralized dashboard. It helps identify issues before they become critical by sending real-time alerts and notifications.

The biggest benefit is reduced downtime and faster troubleshooting. Instead of manually checking multiple servers, we can quickly detect performance issues, service failures, or resource spikes from one platform. Splunk Enterprise allows us to onboard logs and provides stable, reliable search while fulfilling all of our use cases, such as alerting, dashboards, and custom apps. Because of this, the observability of our servers has improved, and it saves us about 80% of the time through automation compared with the manual setup work we previously had to do. I love most parts of this platform but I wish that the price was a little bit more moderate than it is offering now. To be very efficient in using this platform, the user will need to do a lot of learning as well as good exposure to this platform. Sometimes depending too much on AI analytics may seem to be a bad choice for decision making though its presence is of significant help.
