As someone working in the customer support field, I’m in a high-volume, customer-facing role, and we need tools that help us handle requests efficiently. Zimbra offers several features that make our work easier.

One of the biggest benefits is faster responses. We use Zimlets, which are mini apps that live inside the email client, and they help streamline what we do day to day. What do you like best about Zimbra Collaboration Enterprise Collaboration?

It’s a full collaboration suite, with email, calendar, and file sharing all in one place. I also like the flexibility of having both on‑prem and cloud options. It’s much cheaper than Exchange, and it feels easier to manage than a Postfix stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zimbra Collaboration Enterprise Collaboration?

The mobile experience doesn’t feel as polished as Google/Exchange. The UI also isn’t as modern as Gmail, which makes the app feel a bit dated in day-to-day use. Scaling seems to require more upfront planning than I expected, rather than feeling seamless as you grow. What do you like best about Zimbra Collaboration Enterprise Collaboration?

I have been using Zimbra Collaboration since 2015 and I can say with total conviction: It is a great collaboration tool. It has practically all the functions of MS Exchange or even Google's Office and Collaboration Suite. Here we use all the functions it provides us: Drive, Chat, MTA, LDAP, Calendar, To-do tasks, among other functions. In addition, we can obtain more functionalities through plugins, such as integration with Nextcloud, Rocket.Chat, and the like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a negative point, I can say that there is not much documentation about the tool or, when there is, it is outdated. I believe that the Zimbra Collaboration developers and team lack disclosure. You also need an app for mobile and desktop devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Collbrations with external applications risks our privacy. need to have its own enterprise applications.

2. we cannot be logins for a long time every few minutes needs sign in again.

3. Vedio conferecing lacks in messaging

4. Migration Wizard can be easily used to switch from Microsoft exchange environment to Zimbra but lack in proper migration like calenders and our meetings timing can't be synced properly.

5. Mailing browser doent have change of Font options its by default the same.
