The feature I like most is how easy the product is to use and how simple it feels overall. It also provides a straightforward view and interface, with familiar tools similar to Microsoft Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the features I need have limitations and aren’t accessible. Also, the interface feels dull compared to more modern environments like Google Workshops or Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Zimbra Collaboration Enterprise Collaboration because it is simple, powerful, and very scalable. We use it in our data center for managing mailboxes, and it is a completely Linux-based software with a low cost. When we chose it, it was one of the best groupware solutions alternative to Exchange. It was relatively easy to configure and supported the expansion of our team from 300 to over 1000 users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Perhaps too little has been invested in technology in recent years. The engine is still the same and seems unable to keep up with modern cloud solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s a full collaboration suite, with email, calendar, and file sharing all in one place. I also like the flexibility of having both on‑prem and cloud options. It’s much cheaper than Exchange, and it feels easier to manage than a Postfix stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The mobile experience doesn’t feel as polished as Google/Exchange. The UI also isn’t as modern as Gmail, which makes the app feel a bit dated in day-to-day use. Scaling seems to require more upfront planning than I expected, rather than feeling seamless as you grow. Overall, there are fewer integrations compared with the bigger ecosystems, which can be limiting depending on what tools you rely on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It offers Hybrid deployment which we like most. and good features set, every user in my organization loved the GUI of the Zimbra platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

it provides a centralized platform for communication, allowing teams to collaborate efficiently through messaging, video calls, and file sharing. This reduces the need for scattered communication across multiple channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Depending on the features and number of people, Zibra's subscription or licensing costs can be significant. This might be prohibitive for smaller organizations or startups with limited budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zimbra facilitates collaboration among team members with features like shared calendars, task lists, and email folders. Zimbra prioritizes security and features like anti-spam, antivirus, and data encryption to protect user data. The platform can be easily scaled to accommodate the needs of small, medium, and large businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zimbra has limited integrations with third-party tools, which may make it less appealing to businesses that rely heavily on other software. Making changes to the platform can be complex and require technical expertise and good Linux OS knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Zimbra Collaboration since 2015 and I can say with total conviction: It is a great collaboration tool. It has practically all the functions of MS Exchange or even Google's Office and Collaboration Suite. Here we use all the functions it provides us: Drive, Chat, MTA, LDAP, Calendar, To-do tasks, among other functions. In addition, we can obtain more functionalities through plugins, such as integration with Nextcloud, Rocket.Chat, and the like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a negative point, I can say that there is not much documentation about the tool or, when there is, it is outdated. I believe that the Zimbra Collaboration developers and team lack disclosure. You also need an app for mobile and desktop devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its best feature is that it is open source software with great communication, messaging and calendar capabilities. It has a very powerful and pleasant user community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is not a big problem but the interface is very simple and in some cases it looks outdated but is an integral solution and a correct option if the company is looking for a provider of low-cost services at high quality with broad communication characteristics and stable and secure connection systems for the company.
