Integration with other platforms have largely worked. **What do you dislike about Xero?** I wish they wouldn't force me to click an extra the button every single time I reconcile a non-USD invoice. For some of us, that's a lot of invoices. I thought this was just an oversight but when I contacted them about it they've made it clear that they have no intention of fixing this and that they want to continue to annoy anyone doing non-USD transactions in this way for no reason. So that's a very unnecessary fail. **What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?** By integrating with the bank, Amazon, and Link My Books, we're getting our accounts in order - I hope! Finally, I really like the available reports and the tool that allows us to customize them as we wish. **What do you dislike about Xero?** During financial verification or audit, we are often asked to pull out a lot of invoices at once. I would like to have a feature to extract all purchase invoices from a supplier or a period without having to open them one by one. Also, in our country, some more advanced sales taxes are not natively supported or included in the reports. For example, we have a mileage allowance with a customized rate, but when configured in Xero, the original GST/QST report does not take it into account. I like the apps, such as HubDoc, which I can use to make the software more helpful to me. It's so easy to take photos of my receipts and have them automatically uploaded to Xero. **What do you dislike about Xero?** This is not easy for beginners who don't know much about accounting. And having full visibility of the history of actions is a big plus. Being able to see who did what and when gives real transparency and makes it easier to stay in control. I also recently talked to customer support and they resolved my issue quickly! Overall, it just makes my work feel more organised and efficient, it's easy to implement and integrate to our other tools. **What do you dislike about Xero?** What I dislike about Xero is that some options feel a bit limited or missing. For example, I wish there was a way to send automatic monthly statements to customers without setting up workarounds. It would also be really useful if customers could log in and download their up-to-date statements themselves whenever they need them. Same with invoice reminders - the settings are quite basic. In reality, there are different types of invoices that need different reminder flows, and it would be great to have more flexibility there instead of one standard setup. So overall it works well, but a few more advanced AR features would make a big difference. **What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?** It takes care of a lot of day-to-day finance admin and keeps everything in one place, which genuinely makes a big difference. For me, the main benefit is having clear, end-to-end visibility of invoices, payments, and account balances without needing to pull information from multiple sources. That makes it much easier to track outstanding amounts, reconcile payments, and follow up on overdue invoices. It’s also strong from a control and audit perspective. Having a clear history of actions, payment allocations, and changes reduces confusion and saves time when I need to investigate issues or understand what happened.
