What do you like best about Xcode?

In the era of Apple products, why do we as developer relies on some other developer to create an app which we like?

Xcode is the tool which helps us to create our own apple application doesn't matter whether it is Augmented reality or the basic TODO app. The thing which is best about Xcode is you can just drag and drop the element and your design is good to go.

What do you dislike about Xcode?

Xcode to have many bugs. But as we are a super fan of apple it is always hidden. If you started using Xcode after 5-6 months of your last use. Then you will find the new Xcode in front of you.

What do you like best about Xcode?

The best thing about xcode is that it's created by Apple and the ease of creating ios apps, for both iPhone and iPad, is very large. You can not only create the app, but also manage the UI, prepare the app for testing, upload to production...

The debugging tool is the best I have used, the use of breakpoints, memory and power management is very good and helps the developer a lot.

I love that there is an emulator with all iPhone and iPad devices to test all screen sizes. Also, one of my favorite features (included not long ago) is the ability to launch the app on your iPhone without having to connect it to your Mac. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xcode?

There are small bugs that are noticed day by day and sometimes they get to frustrate. Small program crashes, problems after importing cocoapods dependencies, necessary restart of the IDE to manage imports....

I have developed multiple applications for iPhone, from several clients. The result was as expected, the tools provided by xcode are perfect for application development and testing. The main problems to solve were to develop applications that followed a client-server structure, for which it was necessary to implement calls to a rest API. With the debugging tools it was very easy to follow the traces of error and end up developing a good product.

What do you like best about Xcode?

What do you like best about Xcode?

The best I like about this is that it provides support for multiple languages and thus no matter which language code you open you get it in the text editor. The formating options are also good and thus code is properly formatted. I also like the fact that it provides the various themes that are already present in the Mac OS. What do you dislike about Xcode?

What I dont like is sometimes for large codes this is very slow to open. I also dont like the fonts used in the text editor. Moreover when Xcode is updated in Mac sometimes it needs a lot of space in the hard disk to be updated. I have also noticed Xcode hanging when I am using it for a long time. At the beginning, it is incredibly crowded and overwhelming to use. Error codes are also usually vague and unexplained. However primarily it is the UI. It is crowded and overwhelming and it makes it very hard to find tools you need when starting out. It would be a lot better with a better system of grouped menus. Take your time to explore the UI. Knowing where everything is and how to use it is critical to being able to properly use Xcode. For the developers I just want to say that if you are comparing it with other IDE like intellij or visual studio then you have totally wrong approach towards it.
