"Transformative Solution for Efficient Course Evaluations"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I deeply appreciate how Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys has significantly streamlined the evaluation process for my institution by delivering immediate access to results, which is a huge improvement compared to the previous six-month turnaround we experienced with SurveyMonkey. The software's ability to perform all calculations for me is a feature I cherish, as it saves me a substantial amount of time and effort. Additionally, I love the flexibility that Watermark offers by allowing me to create custom reports and selectively include questions, which enhances my ability to analyze specific data points effectively. The ease of the initial setup, completed in just four months, was another aspect that impressed me, making the transition smooth and straightforward. Overall, Watermark's efficiency and customization capabilities have not only improved our operational timelines, but have also elevated the overall quality of our evaluation processes. "Powerful and intuitive platform, but advanced analytics would be a real plus"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys is a robust and flexible platform for managing student evaluations of teaching. It allows for advanced customization of questionnaires, automated deployment, and centralized data collection, which greatly facilitates the work of quality services and academic managers. The interface is intuitive, and the analytical reports (participation rates, trends, inter-course comparisons) are very useful for quality management and data-driven decision making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

In the context where we receive a large volume of student feedback, it would be very useful for the platform to offer more advanced analytical features:

an automatic analysis of recurring comments,

the identification of significant trends,

and the highlighting of priority action levers.

These features would allow the transformation of data into real decision-making insights, thus supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Endlessly configurable and capable course eval software"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

The Canvas integration that puts Watermark course evals right in front of students is easy to set up and configure. The evaluation software and survey capabilities, along with its system of alerts and communications, is endlessly configurable. Pretty much anything we've wanted to try, this software has been able to do. It's a great, full-featured product. We've also used it for informal surveys of faculty and students--love that it will now generate a QR code specific to the survey project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

Any software with endless configurations like this can be tedious to use, so we do feel that sometimes. But I think it's worth it in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use with All the Features I Needed"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I really appreciate that Watermark SL&L is easy to use and includes a variety of features I needed to make several applications for my program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I can't really find anything to dislike about Watermark. The only minor issue is that it takes a little time to get familiar with the platform. However, once you get the hang of it, it becomes very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saver with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I appreciate how Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys saves a tremendous amount of time by allowing me to copy settings from one term to the next. This feature streamlines the process significantly, enabling me to duplicate surveys efficiently while only having to adjust the dates and import names, rather than starting from scratch. Additionally, I find the automatic update of enrollments incredibly beneficial, as it ensures that all additions and drops are accounted for up until a selected date that I determine. This automation simplifies the management of who requires the survey and who doesn't, providing ease of access for instructors who benefit from having all their course evaluation data aggregated in a single place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I don't quite understand the hierarchy structure. It would be nice to group surveys and add administrators that can only access surveys for their assigned college/department. The initial setup was a bit tedious, although not too bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Facilitates Stakeholder Connection with Slight Data Transfer Issues"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I find Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys invaluable in connecting stakeholders and students effectively for student assessments, which tremendously simplifies the evaluation process. Its self-paced nature allows me the flexibility to operate at my own speed and tailor the experience as per my needs. Additionally, the ability to use any rubric for assessments provides a high degree of customization, enhancing the tool's adaptability to various educational contexts. I particularly appreciate how easily the results can be disseminated to students, enabling them to access their assessments in real time. This feature ensures transparency and immediate feedback, which is crucial for educational dynamics. Furthermore, I find editing and copying structures into the platform user-friendly, aiding in efficient semester transitions and consistency across evaluations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I find gathering data and populating results on the back end to be bulky, which makes the process cumbersome and not easily accessible for everyone involved. Additionally, the transfer to Excel could be improved, although I'm uncertain about the specifics on how it should be enhanced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Survey Creation and Outstanding Support"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

Being a new IR Coordinator, it was a breath of fresh air when I found out how easy it was to develop, publish and see the results of your survey in Watermark. It was effortless to implement and the one question that I had, I was able to reach out to customer support right away. Needless to say, that was 5 surveys ago and now I am feeling like a Pro. What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

No dislikes at this time. As long as it continues to be user-friendly, I think I should be just fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhances Survey Response Rate but Needs UI and Export Improvements"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I find Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys beneficial because it integrates seamlessly with Canvas, allowing my team to pull in enrollment data. The integration with Canvas also initially increased our response rates due to the pop-up notifications that prompt students to complete their surveys, although I think the novelty of that has worn off and our response rates have decreased again. I appreciate how this integration streamlines the process for end-of-course evaluations, making it more efficient and effective for gathering valuable student feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

I find the survey design UI of Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys lacking in flexibility compared to platforms like Qualtrics. It doesn't offer enough question types, which often leads us to use Qualtrics for more complex surveys. Additionally, exporting data from the surveys is a challenging process. I typically run surveys every semester for various courses and want the ability to export results for specific targeted surveys across every project it's been run in. The report builder is the only place where you can do that, but it is confusing to navigate and doesn't provide the same level of data detail as a regular report. "Easy Project and Survey Setup"
What do you like best about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

It is easy to set up projects and create surveys. There are a lot of options for creating reports to compare results across instructors and departments. The hierarchy is easy to create and assign to administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys?

It is hard to pull results in an easy-to-read spreadsheet format. The Raw Data option available has questions on a different tab, the answers in numerical order instead of the labels assigned, and extraneous columns. We have faculty department leads pull results and they have issues reading the results that way, and prefer to read it in a spreadsheet instead of individual PDFs. It is also hard to have to download each PDF result directly to view instead of being able to view in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
