In our environment, it synchronizes with Canvas to identify courses, teachers, and student roles. What do you dislike about Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys? 1. The course level mapping feature does not capture all elements, so I constantly have to manually adjust the mappings. It only supports a single mapping logic, either OR or AND, but not a combination of both. This limitation is problematic for our environment, where course names tend to be more complex. 2. There is also no option to "remember" which accounts to import or synchronize with Canvas. As a result, I have to manually select or deselect accounts for every project. Our experience with Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys has been outstanding from start to finish. The setup process was impressively quick and went off without a hitch, allowing us to transition smoothly from our legacy system. One of the most notable improvements has been in our student response rates. With our previous system, we struggled to reach a 30% participation rate. Since implementing Watermark, our response rates have soared to 75%, making our course evaluation data far more representative and actionable. Integration with our Learning Management System (LMS) was seamless. The process was straightforward, and we encountered no technical difficulties, which saved our IT team significant time and effort. Faculty and deans now benefit from much more comprehensive reporting. Watermark provides detailed reports at the individual, department, and college-wide levels, giving stakeholders the insights they need to support teaching excellence. Our Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence staff also use the department and college-wide aggregate reports to inform and plan faculty development programs, ensuring that our initiatives are data-driven and targeted. The integration with our LMS (Moodle) is invaluable and the price point is much lower than the alternatives we considered. There is a complicated work-around using the survey branching features, but it has messy implications for the format of reports, which then require additional workarounds.
