I also appreciate that you can duplicate and adjust the features of any project you create. However, generating a unique link for the Student-Teacher Evaluation can be a bit challenging at times; occasionally, it feels simpler to hand out a flyer rather than send an email. I like that the system integrates pretty seamlessly with Canvas. This makes accessing evaluations extremely easy for our students, and finding reports easy for the faculty. The system is designed really well for institutions that have a single evaluation form for all courses. As my university doesn't do that, it makes for a somewhat convoluted, extremely precise process that requires some oversight. CES integrates with other products in the Watermark ecosystem, especially Faculty Success, which makes for fewer steps for our faculty review processes. I find it user friendly and can run multiple surveys at once with the capability of seeing participation rates at any time. The LMS integration has encouraged a higher response rate and is mobile friendly. Their customer support is amazing. We are able to use the survey tool on the fly and can use QR codes or provide emails. The implementation process was very easy and effective. We utilize the survey tool for all our survey needs. It's great that this is SaaS so that we don't have to worry about server updates all the time. Also, the support staff is responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. The survey software is easy to use and while it may not have ALL the bells and whistles as other vendors, it is delivering new features all the time. I am grateful to have them as a partner in our survey journey. We use this software literally every day at our institution and it is so easy to learn. This product does offer pop-up windows when students log into D2L as a survey reminder. We used to have this tool back in 2021, then management took a different direction to hope we can compare our result with other nation-wide schools. However we did not have much response rates after we switched to other tool, so there is not enough data to compare with the nation. Plus, the data import process has been a problem everytime when we prepared a survey. With watermark, integration can't be easier! it is a must have product if you are using D2L. There are a lot of different options for reviews. It's easy to change the dates for review periods, and add multiple surveys. It's easy to let faculty and admin have different levels of access to the survey and results, and it's easy for students to complete the surveys.
