Vyopta is one of the best monitoring tool which i have ever used.

Its easy to integrate vyopta with third party tools.

we can monitor applications, devices, network and make required changes when notice any glitch. which provide great customer experience.

There are numerous filters available to set up monitoring and alerts.

we can set up alerts as per our requirement and take proactive actions to keep the operations smooth.

Customer support is great. They are easy to reach out and well versed with available technologies in the market and provide best support.

It provides customized dashboards which are useful to isolate troubleshooting and making financial decisions.

There should be a option to choose te desired timezone.

It shows default timezone where your collectors are deployed. Sometimes its difficult to conver the time.

The advantages of using the Vyopta platform include the ability to monitor and alert on network and video devices and infrastructure. It sends alarms to email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The disadvantages of using the Vyopta monitoring platform are that we still haven't managed to get Vyopta to automatically collect the endpoints; we are adding the devices manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vyopta was able to take a csv file and auto publish videos we recorded with our IP video system and automatically add them to our Cisco Show and Share playback environment. I believe Vyopta is going more towards the analytics side of video, so if you're looking for that type of service, I would definitely check them out and see if they have the functionality you are looking for. Vyopta's support was also very good. Our 2 project leads were very helpful and patient when working with us from the start of our project to the finish and even when we had issues after the completion of our project. Everything worked well from Vyopta, my only issue is using Cisco Show and Share as the end user playback environment. I would definitely ask about other playback softwares for your final videos. The backend worked perfectly...just not happy with our Cisco Show and Share software...which is now end of life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
