## About Upsolve AI
Upsolve AI is the platform for deploying governed, grounded, and trustworthy AI data agents to your internal teams or external customers. It helps data teams move past the broken self-serve BI promise by combining the conversational power of large language models with the rigor of a robust semantic layer, rich business context, and built-in evaluation and observability to put agent and context improvements on a flywheel. End users get accurate answers while the data team stays in control. The platform has two complementary components: the Upsolve Data Agent and the Upsolve Agent Context Studio. 1. The Upsolve Data Agent. The Upsolve Data Agent does what a good data analyst does. It answers business questions in natural language, asks clarifying questions when a request is ambiguous, generates charts and reports on the fly, and helps users explore the underlying data without writing SQL. These analyst behaviors come built into the agent itself. What the Upsolve Data Agent does: Conversational, natural-language Q&amp;A over your data, with built-in text-to-SQL Multi-step reasoning across datasets, generate interactive charts on-demand(30+ chart types: bar, line, pie, scatter, heatmap, funnel, and more), auto-generated reports and summaries tailored to a user&#39;s role (exec, PM, ops, support, finance), conversational drill-down and follow-up turns in the same thread. The Upsolve Data Agent is designed to be easily customizable. We don&#39;t believe in an out-of-the-box data agent. Data agents are only useful and reliable with rich context and when assessed against your own performance benchmarks. A generic LLM connected to a database produces generic answers and hallucinated metrics. To produce true, traceable, and transparent answers about your business, the agent needs three more things, and that is where the Data Agent Studio comes in. 2. Upsolve Data Agent Studio. The Data Agent Studio is the place for your team to make the Data Agent accurate, reliable, and trustworthy. It is built on three layers: Data Layer, Context Layer, and Trust and Evals Layer. Data Layer: OOTB database connectors + Cockpit for Semantic Layer construction Database connectors for ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, Postgres, MySQL, and other major data warehouses. Robust data governance with Multi-tenant architecture with row- and column-level permissioning. For teams that don&#39;t have a unified semantic layer model, the Cockpit tool provides a guided and guardrailed interface that takes your team from fragmented data to a clean, AI-ready semantic layer in a week, instead of the six to eight months a typical V1 takes. Context Layer: your data agent needs a unified, auto-curated, and auto-refreshed context layer. The Context Layer connects your files, docs, and systems (Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, internal wikis, product release notes, dbt files, data catalogs, metric glossaries) and curates the information the agent needs to understand the business behind the numbers. It captures product launches, definition changes, ontology, naming conventions, and team-specific business logic so a query like &quot;usage spiked last week&quot; turn into &quot;usage spiked last week, and this correlates with Tuesday&#39;s Pro plan launch&quot;. The Context Layer scans for updates across systems of records connected to it, flags context gaps, and suggests updated. Humans always in the loop. Trust and Evals Layer: Testing, end-of-end observability, and evaluations according to your benchmarks. Sandbox environment for pre-deployment testing, plus production logs after launch. Full LLM observability: every prompt, tool call, model used, retrieved context, and reasoning step is logged, traceable, and reviewable. Built-in evaluations: define gold-standard queries and answers, run tests, and catch agent drift with in-built LLM-as-a-judge evaluators before stakeholders. This system then creates a self-improving feedback loop when corrections from your team feed back into the agent&#39;s eval set so quality compounds over time. Together, those three Data Agent Studio components turn a generic agent into one that produces accurate, reliable, and trustworthy answers your team can defend. Delivery and deployment: The Upsolve Agentic Dashboard is a conversation-driven exploration surface for end users, with 30+ chart types, interactive filters, drill-down, PDF export, scheduled email, and version history. **What do you like best about Upsolve AI?**

I find Upsolve AI helpful for centralizing all of our dashboards and metrics, which simplifies our processes by mapping a single SQL query directly to UI components, eliminating the need to build metric-specific database tables, API's, and UI elements ourselves. This integration into our workflow allows for easier manipulation of our database tables, minimizing the necessity of creating pull requests to update API's and enabling quick updates to charts. The setup process was mostly straightforward, thanks to the collaborative effort of Upsolve AI's support team, which welcomed our feedback and helped navigate setup challenges. Additionally, the customer support has been excellent. The tenant filtering per customer and chart filtering features are essential and easy to configure, enhancing the software's utility significantly. The capability to serve SQL metrics directly through our frontend has transformed our approach, replacing the previously messy and hard-to-manage in-house solutions with a streamlined and maintainable system.

**What do you dislike about Upsolve AI?**

I find the speed of loading charts to be lacking, which affects efficiency and the user experience. The consistency of the product is also an issue, potentially leading to unpredictable behavior or outputs. Better design manipulation is needed, suggesting the current design tools may not be flexible or intuitive enough to add your own style to dashboards. Additionally, while integration with Python and React/TypeScript is easy, the massive package bundle size is a downside and could impact performance.

Upsolve AI centralizes our dashboards and metrics, eliminating the need for creating and maintaining API's and UI components, simplifying manipulation of our databases, and enabling quick updates to charts.

**What do you like best about Upsolve AI?**

I appreciate how straightforward it was to set up Upsolve AI, as the process was mostly smooth and uncomplicated. The platform significantly benefits my organization by enabling us to easily create and expose dashboards to our customers, allowing them to track valuable metrics related to shipment visibility such as on-time performance, temperature excursions, and lane performance. The self-serve capability is a standout feature, as it empowers users to add the charts they need and view dashboards tailored to different personas without needing my constant guidance, which is a huge time-saver. Moreover, the partnership with Hevo Data enhances my use of Upsolve AI, as it allows me to prepare data in a specific format required for effective dashboarding. I also admire Upsolve AI's customer team for their excellent customer obsession and reliable, consistent support, which greatly enhances our experience. This consistent helpfulness in problem-solving is more valuable than sporadic instances of good support. Overall, these features make Upsolve AI an invaluable tool in our operations.

I find the inability to add custom hyperlinks to external apps in the drill down tables limiting, as adding this feature would significantly enhance our dashboard's functionality and create a more integrated experience for our customers.

Upsolve AI enables us to create and share dashboards with customers, helping them track essential shipment metrics efficiently. Its self-service feature reduces my involvement, and the team's consistent support is invaluable.

**What do you like best about Upsolve AI?**

We were initially using a DIY stack for embedding analytics into our SaaS dashboard (React + custom dashboards via Metabase). It worked... until it didn’t scale. We moved to Upsolve a few months ago and the difference has been night and day.

Their out-of-the-box components made embedding dashboards into our product ridiculously fast. We had our first live customer dashboard up in less than a week. It’s intuitive for both technical and less-technical users, and I really like how the access controls and filters work across different user roles.

Also, the support team has been super responsive... they helped us optimize performance for high-traffic accounts.

**What do you dislike about Upsolve AI?**

Would love more customizable theming options out of the box, but the API workarounds are solid.

**What problems is Upsolve AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to manually export CSVs and send them to clients for reporting. Now our customers log in and see live dashboards tied to their own metrics. This has saved us tons of back-and-forth and has made our product feel 10x more premium. Upsolve helped us launch this in under 3 weeks, which wouldn’t have been possible if we built from scratch.

**What do you like best about Upsolve AI?**

Upsolve AI took something incredibly complex and overlooked, and made it plug-and-play. 

Just like Stripe did for payments. 

Instead of building dashboards from scratch, we got the better end of it with almost zero engineering lift. Implementation was fast, support is world-class, and the team actually listens to feature feedback. The product just works.

**What do you dislike about Upsolve AI?**

There’s a learning curve if you want to heavily customize dashboards or embed advanced features, but the team’s documentation and support make it manageable. Some more prebuilt templates make things smoother though.

**What problems is Upsolve AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to offer advanced, customer-facing analytics without burning months building and maintaining dashboards. Upsolve AI solved this instantly. It saves our engineering team time, helps us win deals (especially with enterprise clients who expect robust analytics), and lets us focus on our core product instead of reinventing the wheel.

Upsolve AI helped us set up analytics for our end users very fast without us getting a lot of involvement from engineers. On top of that, it enabled team members who are less technical (i.e., Product Manager and Customer Success Manager) to be able to deliver analytics fast in a self-serve manner.

**What do you dislike about Upsolve AI?**

Upsolve AI required a one-time upfront resource investment in setting up the integrations. It doesn't require a lot of resources, but it requires some team organization to ensure the corresponding engineering bandwidth is available upfront. If you could resource accordingly, it is not a concern.

**What problems is Upsolve AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our customers need to generate analytics and create dashboards based on the data we generate. Upsolve AI allows us to give this capability to our end users out of the box. This massively reduces our development cycle and the amount of resources required such that we can focus on building what matters the most.

Upsolve's low-code, embedded analytics product allowed us to deliver customizable, user-facing dashboards in days. It would've taken us months to build similar functionality in house.

We use the self-hosted version of Upsolve. Occasionally, taking the latest upgrade with the newest features requires some integration work, but the team is always responsive and helpful guiding us through the upgrade process.

**What problems is Upsolve AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upsolve is solving the "embedded analytics as a service" need, so that production teams don't need to spend cycles building yet another dashboard for users. We've utilized Upsolve's dashboards for our end users to create custom visualizations on top of their AI monitoring data.

We need to build and iterate on end-user facing dashboards in a fast and easy manner. Upsolve AI offer just that. And its embedded BI feature also allows our end users to be able to build what they need in a self-serve manner. Lastly, its embedded GenBI/agentic analytics feature also allows our end users to extract data insights directly with natural language. This massively allows our users to extract insights.

Since the platform is very extensive, there were a lot of concepts I need to learn to be a power user. But once I got over the learning curve, the platform is straightforward and intuitive. Reading the docs was very helpful.

The team at Upsolve is top-notch. Incredibly responsive to our questions and suggestions, and always available to help. Their tech stack integrated easily with our platform, and we were able to extend our security model and visibility rules to reporting without needing to manage a separate configuration in Upsolve.

**What do you dislike about Upsolve AI?**

Upsolve is a scaling organization and as a result sometimes we end up discovering limits with the way things work out of the box. The Upsolve team has always been responsive in addressing these however.

We needed a white-labeled analytics platform to round out our product offering. We weren't interested in re-building or coding a solution on our own. Upsolve gives us a enterprise grade solution with a point-and-click interface.

Sometimes the analysis can get quite complex and it's necessary to do a few iterations with the AI to get exactly what you need.

Upsolve AI allows for rapid iteration on deep technical analysis. It allows me to uncover valuable information I can share with my customers are bout their performance in my product and to boost their account value.
