What customer support options does TriNet PEO provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

TriNet PEO provides 24/7 live-rep support, along with chat and phone support. The experience can be responsive and helpful, particularly for straightforward questions, while complex issues may take longer or involve follow-up and routing between teams.

What is the experience like for teams switching to TriNet PEO from another tool?

Switching to TriNet PEO is often about bringing scattered HR, payroll, and benefits services together, or finding broader benefits, support, or functionality than a previous system provided. The experience is described as smoother when setup and guidance are clear, though the transition can involve a learning curve.
  • Consolidation: Replacing separate tools or providers with a more centralized set of HR services.
  • Broader coverage: Seeking more complete benefits, HR support, or payroll functionality.
  • Cost and fit: Moving for pricing or to better support the organization’s needs as it grows.

What features or capabilities could make TriNet PEO even more useful?

The clearest opportunities to make TriNet PEO more useful are smoother navigation and more consistent workflows across the platform. Teams also want clearer time-off information and a more capable mobile experience.

  • Improve time and PTO tools: Make balances, accruals, approvals, and team calendars easier to understand and manage.
  • Expand mobile functionality: Bring more of the desktop experience into the mobile app and streamline time entry.
  • Strengthen reporting and customization: Provide more flexible reports and dashboards suited to each team’s needs.

Is TriNet PEO considered safe and secure for handling data?

Account security comes up most often in connection with repeated identity checks at sign-in. Some users appreciate the added verification, while others find having to complete it so frequently inconvenient; that experience alone does not establish how securely other data is handled.

"Convenient Access, Seamless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TriNet PEO?

I like having access to everything from the convenience of my phone, including insurance cards. TriNet PEO also simplifies things through the chat option, making it easy to keep track of my benefits without having to navigate different platforms. Having all my information accessible on my phone is especially beneficial since my insurance cards never arrived in the mail; this way, I can easily reference them when making calls. I also found the setup easy, with an onboarding meeting that kept me informed of deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

I think the TriNet perks can be improved upon as well as some of the features on the Healthee personal assistant. The perks could be better if they highlighted things individuals find interesting, but I personally haven't used them because the website is overwhelming with all the possible fine print. Also, the Healthee assistant helps with booking but doesn't sync well with the Zocdoc app; appointments never appear on my phone, and the status on the assistant's end is often incorrect since it requires more communication with the office. "Easy HR Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TriNet PEO?

What I like best about TriNet is that it brings payroll, benefits, HR, and compliance tools together in a single platform, making it easy to manage employee-related processes. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing employees and administrators to quickly find the information they need. Integration with payroll, benefits, and other business systems helps reduce manual work and improves efficiency.

From a performance standpoint, the platform is generally reliable and responsive, even when handling routine HR and payroll tasks. TriNet provides strong value by helping businesses streamline administrative processes and gain access to services that might otherwise require significant internal resources. The onboarding process is well structured, and support resources are helpful when questions arise.

I also appreciate the continued investment in automation and intelligent features that simplify common HR tasks and reporting. Overall, TriNet offers a strong combination of usability, functionality, and business value for organizations looking to simplify workforce management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

What I dislike most about TriNet is that some parts of the platform can feel a bit dated compared to newer HR software. While the core functionality is solid, finding certain documents or settings isn't always as intuitive as it could be. I also wish there were more flexibility in reporting and customization without needing additional support.

The integrations generally work well, but getting everything set up exactly how you want can take some effort. From a pricing perspective, TriNet delivers value, but the cost may feel high for smaller companies that don't need the full range of services. Support is usually helpful, though resolution times can sometimes be slower than expected for non-urgent issues.

I'd also like to see more AI-driven features, such as smarter search, proactive recommendations, and better self-service tools. Overall, none of these are deal-breakers, but they're areas where the platform could continue to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Navigation and All-in-One HR Hub for Time Off, Benefits, and Payments"
5/5
What do you like best about TriNet PEO?

I find it very easy to navigate and find items that may not be so obvious using the search and chat feature. I also enjoy how I can set up my payment preferences quickly, submit my benefits enrollment and keep tabs of upcoming paid holidays and my time off accruals in one spot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

I like it very much so far and enjoy also being able to find the org chart in one spot in addition to all the other HR benefits it provides. If anything, maybe some more videos on the dashboard, but overall I really enjoy the experience the platform provides. It may benefit from some more AI agents. What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

Because there is so much, sometimes it's confusing where to go for certain needs, and/or there are whole features I'm completely unaware of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Payroll with Outstanding Usability"
5/5
What do you like best about TriNet PEO?

I like using TriNet for pay, benefits, and as a central hub for anything payroll-related. It replaced our old system and provides clarity on payroll distribution. Onboarding new employees is very easy with TriNet. The dashboard view is clean, responsive, and organized, and the quick-find sidebar is helpful, making changes easy and enhancing the user experience. I also appreciate finding things clearly labeled at the perfect header level, with each page containing just the right amount of credible information needed by the end user. The initial setup was very simple, and I would rate my likelihood of recommending TriNet as a 10 without a doubt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

Trying to find benefits in the beginning was easier, now it seems to have gone away, making it hard to elect my benefits. It needs to be easier to search for, or I'm not sure if there was an update. Just a few days after joining, it was difficult to locate where to elect my medical, dental, and vision benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One HR and Payroll with an Easy, Intuitive Interface"
4/5
What do you like best about TriNet PEO?

I enjoy that everything is in one place now. Our company used to use multiple different resources for HR services, payroll, etc. which was timely to login to all of them. The user interface is easy to follow, I was able to understand how to use it right away. The onboarding procedure is easy to follow, it walks you through everything you need to do after creating an account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

I prefer everything to be integrated into one page, several of the options open a new tab in a different style workspace. It's not a problem, I just loose track of all the tabs open and would prefer just one tab that is easy to navigate to other features or back to where you just came from. "Property Accountant Manager"
3.5/5
What do you like best about TriNet PEO?

What I like best about TriNet is the training tools they provide. They are easy to use, informative, and help me build my knowledge and confidence while improving my skills and performance in my role Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

One thing I dislike about TriNet is that not everything is integrated into one platform. Many services are handled by different departments, which can make it time-consuming and sometimes confusing to know who to contact for specific issues. A more unified system would improve efficiency and create a better overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

"Helpful Online Platform for Tracking and Managing Benefits in One Place"
4/5
What do you like best about TriNet PEO?

The online platform makes tracking and managing benefits helpful in a single location compared to other PEO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet PEO?

I don't feel like I truly have a "person" to talk to. I can tell AI bots exist, but I'm looking for more help I feel its a struggle to find a way to talk to someone. It's frustrating at times because when it comes to these types of benefits we want support, not instructions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
