While Xactly Forecasting has a lot of strong features, there are a few areas that could be improved. The initial setup was a bit more complex than we anticipated, requiring some time to fully integrate with our existing systems. It also takes a little while to get used to all the functionalities, so the learning curve can feel steep at first. Additionally, while the AI insights are valuable, sometimes the data analysis feels a bit too reliant on historical patterns, which may not always reflect rapid market changes. User interface must be modernized and redisgned to be more user friendly. The company has to to redisign the process for manual forecat adjustments to allow instant sync. The tool is slow to refresh data. The tool also needs to have more flexibilitiy to adjust out-of-the-box solution and map it appropriately to customer needs. You have quite a bit of data at your fingertips - but it doesn;'t feel overwhelming at all. Because of the platform's capacity to slice data by segment, it really feels as though you don't need to spend any more time within the platform than necessary.
