## Thrive learning Reviews
 ### 1. Don't believe the hype

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

Does all the basic features of an LMS well.

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

Severe lack of deep data reporting, content creation can be frustrating and things like AI content creation and integrations all cost extra. Customisation of the pages is very basic and there is no option to translate pages seemslessly. Being able to put branding up and customisation is severely lacking. The account managers talk a big game but when it comes down to actually helping you, they disappear. There is no skills analysis or career mapping and event management is very frustrating. Navigating is not seamless and the search feature is just as frustrating. AI features are only search and content creation and both are not good. It does all the basic things ok but overall ease of use and navigation is quite poor. This is a marketing company that is masquerading as an LMS provider.

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thrive gives us the ability to put content up so everyone can access it.

 ### 2. It just works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | Head of Learning Experience, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

From administration to user experience, Thrive works. There are a lot of platforms pushing their USPs that end up being a headache to use.

Since we moved to Thrive, engagement in our platform and content has shot up, and feedback from end users has been great.

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

Sometimes new features get released that could do with more testing and feedback. Having said that, most get quickly developed and updated.

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's putting content at the point of need for users allowing them to uphill and hit development and promotional goals more quickly

 ### 3. Thrive is a easy to use LXP with straight forward features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

- Great customers service that has so far helped me and the organization so much to reach our internal goals
- Thrive is expansive and dynamic, it has many possibilities for any type of need
- Thrive is easy to use with many straight forward features that mostly require a simple video or quick explanation before the user grasps the concept for the feature (such as managing audiences, teams, uploading content, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

- The site often takes long to load, leaving some users impatient
- There are a number of issues that were reported in the past, such as videos being blurry at the start that have not yet been resolved. This has a bad influence on learners experience
- Despite its expansiveness it can be very static as well at points, making it hard to adhere to all learning needs. I wish the platform could have more personalized features in order to ensure all types of companies could use it without limitations

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing and tracking training. This was done manually before which often would fall on me to create trackers and to help SMEs and Head of Departments to track completion and to distribute the training to the right people.
In addition, Thrive has made it easier to create training for SMEs and so after a quick explanation, SMEs are able to work completely independently without anyhelp from L&D. This gives me the chance to focus on other things, such as creating training to promotes company culture and helps people develop personally. Which is Thrive great for as well with their campaign and share feature.

 ### 4. Great platform for centralizing modern and relevant content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abbie S. | Learning And Development Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

All content is centralized and easy to search learning resources. The content contains gamification elements and modern/relevant content to reflect current events. Lots of webinars and events to join to ensure the most is made of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

Thrive should allow individual teams to have their own page [similar to social media] where forums, shared content can be uploaded onto that specific page. Users can then subscribe to those teams to follow content update. Content could be shared via Teams rather than solely email to increase engagement.

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft and other system/It functions; it also allows for a centralised location where employees can access learning resources on a need-to-know basis, so it is easy to locate. This is benefitting L&D and respective Team leaders by steering employees in the appropriate direction, enabling self-directed learning.

 ### 5. Thrive and Places for People

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

Thrive offer bitesize learning for Places for People colleagues, learning is accessible and designed to cater for both professional and personal development needs.

The Thrive catalogue is also used for specific compliance/industry regulation viewing or where a specific set of colleagues need to expand on a skill set in a non-compulsory setting.

Thrive provide a user friendly accessible viewing journey that makes learning effortless for all colleagues. They are also constantly making upates to ensure all levles of accessibility are addressed, which is something that Places fo People have as a top priority.

Thrive make my role easier as I am able to dive into the diverse offering of resources within the catalogue and browse an array of topics.

The courses are also available in varying formats SCORMs/Video/PDFs/Podcasts and they are viewable on any device which has access to the internet.

The way in which updates are communicated and new realeases is issues is also timely and enables me to plan my campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

I honeslty can't really say that there is a downside of Thrive learning as I have had nothing but positive feedback from colleagues who are engaging with the content.

I guess the only point I could raise would be that I wish that more people were viewing the content, I am working on strategies to push views/ completions etc but this is not a worry for Thrive ;-) It's a journey trying to foster a learning culture, but I am glad to that I have Thrive on my side as you do help!

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not really a problem, but Thrive are working on adding Transcripts to all learning which fits in well with our company accessibility piece.

**Official Response from Carly Unsworth:**

> Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We're thrilled that Thrive are supporting you in making your role easier, and looking forward to our next steps together!

 ### 6. Best LXP I've ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zdravko (Zee) G. | Senior Learning & Development Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

Thrive is intuative. If you know how to navigate any social media platform, you already know the basics of Thrive. Anyone can upload content which allows for your org to create a true culture of learning where different people from different departments are sharing knowledge!

The implementation was awesome and a process that I wish others would follow for software deployments. We got a dedicated implementation manager who helped us create goals for various points in time and walked through everything over the course of a few weeks to ensure that we fully understood the new tool.

Our Customer Success Manager took over after implentation to ensure that we always have what we need to be successful and that people are using the tool.

We chose Thirve in part to be able to provide future integrations with other tools like Udemy, Open Sesame or LinkedIn Learning.

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

Wish they had formal certificates you can download after completing each course, especially if you have an ILT. Honestly that's about it. Our team has really grown to love it and use it frequently for compliance and non-compliance training a like.

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On-boarding process and flow has been formalised within Thrive.
Compliance training can be conducted annually, with messages sent out automatically.
Teams sharing knowledge within the team and cross-fuctionally - this used to get lost in Slack and Confluence.
Closing skills gaps.

**Official Response from Cassie Gasson:**

> Thanks so much for the kind review Zdravko! Certification has actually just landed in Thrive too, so all your boxes are ticked :D Nate, your CSM, will send over all the information and everything you need to start using the great new feature. Thanks again!

 ### 7. Thrive with Thrive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

The service offered is outstanding. From implementation (which was super-easy) to ongoing support. As a super-admin user I access the site daily to see who has been looking at or for what to inform our L&D offer across the comnpany, compliance figures and who has been commenting. This is something we've never had before. Integrating Thrive into our company was a breeze in comparison to lots of other changes that have taken place recently. Brilliant.

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

There are a few things we'd like more control over as super-admins, but our customer support manager really takes our suggestions on board and we often see product improvements as a result.

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Health and safety compliance - safety is our number one imperative so being able to effectively monitor this in the platform is perfect.
Understanding what people are looking at - we think we know, but we don't. Understanding what users want is key; it's not always a perfect match to the company.

 ### 8. Thrive is great platform!!

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content reaching the masses
Mandatory
Career Pathways

 ### 9. Incredibly insightful to hear from different L&D teams and fun to hear from Fearne, Dan, and Spencer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rach D. | Learning and Development Trainer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

It's a great way to contain and track learning resources, business communications, contact colleagues, and share other business details or product details.

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

That the character limit on sharing training sessions is so small!

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

That learning and development are all in one place along with product training from suppliers

 ### 10. Being new to the admin/back office side of thrive.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Thrive learning?**

I like how you get notified when new/mandatory learning is assigned. I like how we can pull data out of thrive for example outstanding and incomplete learning as this helps us drive compliance. I like how you can personalise home screens for different arms of the business.

**What do you dislike about Thrive learning?**

I feel the naviagtion at times can be tricky. Alot of colleagues struggle with phone software or landscape layouts of content and not being able to view it.

**What problems is Thrive learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a comprehensive suite filled with learning content. Colleagues can log in to find support for the job role at the click of a button
