Nothing. There are so many better online options like bidding owl or handbid Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Do not use the text 2 bid system. The charities running the platform LOSE so much potential earnings. They set not only high minimum bids but also insist on ridiculous bidding increments rather than allowing bidders to outbid with their own amounts. I skipped bidding on several items because the next higher bid would result in an unrealistic final bid. Ie one month membership was at $53 but the only way to outbid was to select the option of $86 which put this beyond what it's worth. I would have totally bid 60 but that wasn't an option so the charity lost out.
The owner contacted me and told me that it's up to the charities to set those increments and that he would have a better conversation with them so they understood what setting bid increments meant but I have a suspicion it was just a lot of double talk and it's still the way their system is run. Plus if they have other employees I'm sure they're not going to do anymore than sign people up.
Also, the system is not very user friendly and can be very frustrating to bidders. When you're at a charity you don't want to have frustrating experiences. You can only view items on mobile, not desktop, once you "watch', you cannot 'unwatch' and if you want to go back to the catalog of items after viewing a specific item, it takes you all the way back to the top.
The system also charges a user fee. You've already donated by bidding there's no reason to add more fees. To facilitate, most charities want you to use a credit card and yet charges should not be passed on to the bidder unless they agree. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
