"Empowers Non-Tech Teams with Clear Testing Insights"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

As a Marketing Manager for Billor, require assurance that any new features on our trucking platform, such as AI route planning or lease-to-own features, have been properly tested before we promote them. TestCollab allows me to see how testing is going without any technical skills on my part for tech skills. I can check my dashboard to see if new features have completed all testing necessary before scheduling any promotional activities. Several situations have been avoided where we might have promoted new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

The reporting abilities are not especially marketing-oriented. If I have to demonstrate testing progress to my non-technical audience, I have to actually reformat this information for a more graphical reporting. They do not, on their platform, easily integrate with my current marketing apps, meaning I have to actually cross-reference testing features that have been put live. "Essential for Cloud Migration Testing—Reusable Templates and Clear Progress Tracking"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

We at virtasant, work on cloud infrasture and application migration for multiple clients so having a standard procedure of testing cross all our projects with TestCollab is ideal. I like the fact that it empowers us to build reusable test templates for typical cloud migration scenarios at the same time as it handles customer specific requirements. I can see at a glance on the dashboard how my testing progresses on multiple projects, which is key when some things need to meet deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

Its native support for cloud-native monitoring tools could be improved. We often have to manually copy data from our cloud monitoring systems and paste it in TestCollab, which is quite time consuming for testing. The permission system is limited when it comes to sharing this (we'd like to give client stakeholders only enough access to view the progress on their project and nothing more) without letting them see other clients data. "TestCollab Streamlines Hardware & Software QA for Thin Clients"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

At Shinola, commodifying this process is doubly useful: we use thin client hardware and virtual desktop software, so TestCollab provides a clear cut structure for getting both of those tested together. I love that this allows me to test for hardware compatibility things like - USB peripheral recognition and display output - along with software functioning all within the same flow. "Organizing the tests by hardware model and software version has been very useful for our QA." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

The platform starts to break down when the detailed hardware health metrics (blearghh) need to be tracked with other testing results. It deals well with mechanism pass-fail recording, but stories telling about performance (network latency, memory consumption) need to be documented by hand. The hardware-software integrated report that our management asked us are not customizable in the reporting feature as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Test Management and Clear Tracking with TestCollab"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

I am an Engineering Manager at Aisera and I like TestCollab for its simple test case management. The structure of test plans and tracking results across projects are clear for our staff members with the platform. Test runs are easy to set up, and I can easily see at a glance on the dashboard where my tests are at as well as timing of testing which allows me to space out releases better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

I would like to have been given more insight into how tests are trending with regard to their execution, and a pattern for failures. There was also more custom configuration necessary for integration with our CI/CD pipeline than I anticipated, and this contributed to the time it took to getus initially set up. "Effortless Feature Tracking Prevents Timing Clashes"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

I’m a CS at a broadcast media company, so I gotta work with our dev team to make sure that they are testing features before we proceed with content development and make content/deliver the launch announcements. I can quickly scan if features have cleared test before I set up content publication and this has avoided quite a few potential timing clashes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

The notification system is not very strong – It sometimes happens that I don’t notice when new test cycles are allocated for my review. The platform also doesn’t have content-friendly features, like easy ways to annotate the screenshot or a friendly way to provide feedback on UI text during testing. "Effortless Test Management and Streamlined Daily Workflows"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

Being an Integration Officer in Warp it's easy to see how TestCollab optimized our software testing process. And makes it easy to manage your test cases and run tests across your stacks of applications. It is very easy for me to create test runs and delegate them to my team, with the status showing clearly on my dashboard. For what we use it for everyday testing is perfect without all the unneeded overhead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

The basic functionality is good, but it could develope better on integration features. Integration with our other project management tools (example, redmine) was a bit more custom setup then I expected. The reporting functions could be more advanced - we want to customize the test reports more for our own project needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Simple for Daily Use, But Needs Better Integrations"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

I'm a Content Strategist and I need to liaise with our developers to make sure new features are properly beta tested before we ship them. TestCollab has made it so I can see the overall progress of testing in a clear, and therefore easily manageable way without actually having to be too technical or involved. I like the simple interface - creating and prioritizing test cases is natural, and the dashboard gives a quick picture of where are we. For a team that relies on it every day, the reliability and simplicity of the actual service are its biggest advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

It does the job, but it lacks some of the creature comforts our devs would want, like better support for native integrations with our CI/CD pipeline. With that said, the reporting is serviceable, though it could stand to be more programmatically customizable for presenting progress in shared presentations to non-technical admin stakeholders. "We keep our test cases in place and testing progress is well tracked through TestCollab"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

I'm a fan of the fact that we have 1 central place to manage all of our testing in TestCollab. We used to have spreadsheets that were a mess and impossible to follow. Now, I simply define a test plan, assign cases to my team and watch pass/fail results live. It’s a concentrated tool that doesn’t make things too complicated. Getting started was quick and easy, and we use it every day without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

We would like to see some more advanced reporting features. I’m also frequently left looking at manually collating the data to create a report for a client showing testing progress over time when it’s necessary to show in a custom way. I would love to have more variety in building and customizing the reports in tool itself I believe this is great unique features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Brought Order to Our Testing Workflows Answer"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

The ease of use is fantastic. The interface was intuitive from day one so our QA team adopted it quickly. Test cases were written and run in the first week of the project. Native Jira Integration: Creating tickets in Jira from failed tests—we now have dev tickets automatically created for us raising our failed tests—has saved us tons of time over the bug-reporting process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

It does take a little while to get used to the differentiator between the test plans, test suites, and test runs when initially working through it. Our team understood the hierarchy after some time, but it became second nature once we worked through a couple of projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Setup and Strong QA Integration, but Wider Adoption Takes Time"
What do you like best about TestCollab?

The time to value really stood out, it took us less than a month for our squad to be live and starting to structure test cases of our digital employee experience platform. It was easy to use and our QA team right away embraced it as there go to tool for managing complex test cycles. We’ve been putting it through its paces, at least for much of the last year, to validate features that inspect employee endpoints and applications. Integration with our project management feature really smoothly ties testers and developers together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestCollab?

While there are a strong number of features around core test management, building dashboards tailored to specific stakeholder groups will take some doing. It's been a slow burn in terms of wider usage than our core QA team members since it does require some setup, but for those that do use it, approximately 25% across the company currently, it is mainly an admin and QA tool as well.
