## TestCollab Reviews
  ### 1. The Audit Trail and Compliance Guardian of Our Banking Software Releases

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith S. | Information Technology Network Manager, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2026

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

In our highly compliant world, TestCollab’s lack of flexibility is its greatest asset. What we don’t need is fancy AI bells and whistles but rather an immutable, timestamped log of each test execution that takes place. The role-based permissions are fine-grained enough that they satisfy our internal auditors— we can lock sensitive projects, such as online banking portal tests to only the authorized QA and infosec teams. The Jira integration makes a bullet-proof chain of custody from the failing test case to the linked Jira ticket in our “FI-SEC” project, which is crucial for our change advisory board (CAB) reviews. We hosted it on-prem using their VM solution, and we were synced to our AD in under three weeks.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

In fact, the same inflexibility that helps us can hinder more experimental testing. Occasionally our red team finds the pre-defined Steps and Expected Results too confining for their on-the-fly security testing scripts. The reporting is good enough for compliance but we need to manually configure the report format to get the "Release Readiness Certificate" (PDF) our CTO needs signed off before every push to production.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the huge step towards getting our software development lifecycle some due dilligence with both internal audit and external regulators we/'re at (OCC/FDIC). Prior to TestCollab, our test evidence was a jumble of spreadsheets and emails and SharePoint docs - a breeding groun d for stress during exams. Now we have one searchable system. For every release – whether it’s a core banking version released or a patch to our mobile app– we’re able, immediately at the push of button, to run a report that list(s) all which test cases were executed by who, on what build and if it passed/failed. It has reduced our audit preparation time by about 70%, and provided our developers with absolutely clear unquestionable feedback, which in turn resulted in the decrease of hot-fixes during post-release from 30% to–an impressive–0%. It’s not just a test tool; it is a risk mitigation engine for us.

  ### 2. Empowers Non-Tech Teams with Clear Testing Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eriq M. | Marketing Manager , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

As a Marketing Manager for Billor, require assurance that any new features on our trucking platform, such as AI route planning or lease-to-own features, have been properly tested before we promote them. TestCollab allows me to see how testing is going without any technical skills on my part for tech skills. I can check my dashboard to see if new features have completed all testing necessary before scheduling any promotional activities. Several situations have been avoided where we might have promoted new features.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

The reporting abilities are not especially marketing-oriented. If I have to demonstrate testing progress to my non-technical audience, I have to actually reformat this information for a more graphical reporting. They do not, on their platform, easily integrate with my current marketing apps, meaning I have to actually cross-reference testing features that have been put live.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems is TestCollab trying to solve, and how does this help you? Prior to TestCollab, I would sometimes hear about testing delays only a few days before a campaign launch, which resulted in scrambling. With TestCollab, I can see my testing status in real-time and change my launch calendars accordingly. This has resulted in avoiding situations where we had to promote something that is not ready yet and enhancing communication between my marketing team and the development team. It has been critical for coordinating launches with customer communication.

  ### 3. Essential for Cloud Migration Testing—Reusable Templates and Clear Progress Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cully C. | Chief Operating Officer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

We at virtasant, work on cloud infrasture and application migration for multiple clients so having a standard procedure of testing cross all our projects with TestCollab is ideal. I like the fact that it empowers us to build reusable test templates for typical cloud migration scenarios at the same time as it handles customer specific requirements. I can see at a glance on the dashboard how my testing progresses on multiple projects, which is key when some things need to meet deadlines.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Its native support for cloud-native monitoring tools could be improved. We often have to manually copy data from our cloud monitoring systems and paste it in TestCollab, which is quite time consuming for testing. The permission system is limited when it comes to sharing this (we'd like to give client stakeholders only enough access to view the progress on their project and nothing more) without letting them see other clients data.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to TestCollab, each of our cloud migration teams had their own way of tracking testing – the client was using spreadsheets and other documentation tools. This caused difficulties in adhering to quality standards among client projects. We now have a single, unified process that ensures all migrations are tested in the same thorough manner. Its ripped that all out and standardizing these with the new system has made client sat scores and post-mig issues drop by 40% over the last 6 months since we roll them into the platform.

  ### 4. Effortless Test Management and Clear Tracking with TestCollab

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marty M. | Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

I am an Engineering Manager at Aisera and I like TestCollab for its simple test case management. The structure of test plans and tracking results across projects are clear for our staff members with the platform. Test runs are easy to set up, and I can easily see at a glance on the dashboard where my tests are at as well as timing of testing which allows me to space out releases better.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

I would like to have been given more insight into how tests are trending with regard to their execution, and a pattern for failures. There was also more custom configuration necessary for integration with our CI/CD pipeline than I anticipated, and this contributed to the time it took to getus initially set up.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestCollab eliminated our struggle for un-uneven test writing and tracking. Classification test cases were managed in different spreadsheets, which was impractical to maintain versioning and completeness prior to deployment. We now have a template for consistent test coverage and reliable audit trails! Our confidence in release has been higher and we have had fewer issues in production.

  ### 5. Effortless Feature Tracking Prevents Timing Clashes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ainsley H. | Content Strategist, Broadcast Media, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

I’m a CS at a broadcast media company, so I gotta work with our dev team to make sure that they are testing features before we proceed with content development and make content/deliver the launch announcements. I can quickly scan if features have cleared test before I set up content publication and this has avoided quite a few potential timing clashes.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

The notification system is not very strong – It sometimes happens that I don’t notice when new test cycles are allocated for my review. The platform also doesn’t have content-friendly features, like easy ways to annotate the screenshot or a friendly way to provide feedback on UI text during testing.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to TestCollab at times there were some communication lapses between our content and development teams leading to features being announced without full fledged testing. Now I have as much transparency needed on the testing pipeline, so that I can start to fine-tune more closely content releases on development phases. It's removed the embarrassment and frustration of promoting features that end up getting delayed because of testing problems and has greatly improved our cross-team workflow.

  ### 6. Effortless Test Management and Streamlined Daily Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy G. | Integration Officer @ Warp, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

Being an Integration Officer in Warp it's easy to see how TestCollab optimized our software testing process. And makes it easy to manage your test cases and run tests across your stacks of applications. It is very easy for me to create test runs and delegate them to my team, with the status showing clearly on my dashboard. For what we use it for everyday testing is perfect without all the unneeded overhead.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

The basic functionality is good, but it could develope better on integration features. Integration with our other project management tools (example, redmine) was a bit more custom setup then I expected. The reporting functions could be more advanced - we want to customize the test reports more for our own project needs.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our test cases were in a sorry mess scattered in different spreadsheets and documents, there was no way to keep them consistent across the varied projects we work with. We now have a centralized process that ensures everyone on the team is running all of the tests. I have cut time spent managing testing project by 40% and finally eliminated versioning issues we had with sharing doc.

  ### 7. Reliable and Simple for Daily Use, But Needs Better Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ololade A. | Content Strategist, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

I'm a Content Strategist and I need to liaise with our developers to make sure new features are properly beta tested before we ship them. TestCollab has made it so I can see the overall progress of testing in a clear, and therefore easily manageable way without actually having to be too technical or involved. I like the simple interface - creating and prioritizing test cases is natural, and the dashboard gives a quick picture of where are we. For a team that relies on it every day, the reliability and simplicity of the actual service are its biggest advantages.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

It does the job, but it lacks some of the creature comforts our devs would want, like better support for native integrations with our CI/CD pipeline. With that said, the reporting is serviceable, though it could stand to be more programmatically customizable for presenting progress in shared presentations to non-technical admin stakeholders.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestCollab solved our problem of lacking a single source of truth for our testing cycles. Previously, use-cases were scattered across various documents, which often led to confusion and mistakes. Now, everyone follows the same workflow within one tool, which has greatly clarified and streamlined our pre-release checks for the functionality I document. It’s a cost-effective solution that has brought essential structure to our workflow.

  ### 8. We keep our test cases in place and testing progress is well tracked through TestCollab

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacqueline D. | Technical Account Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

I'm a fan of the fact that we have 1 central place to manage all of our testing in TestCollab. We used to have spreadsheets that were a mess and impossible to follow. Now, I simply define a test plan, assign cases to my team and watch pass/fail results live. It’s a concentrated tool that doesn’t make things too complicated. Getting started was quick and easy, and we use it every day without any issues.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

We would like to see some more advanced reporting features. I’m also frequently left looking at manually collating the data to create a report for a client showing testing progress over time when it’s necessary to show in a custom way. I would love to have more variety in building and customizing the reports in tool itself I believe this is great unique features.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pre TestCollab we had testcases all over the place, ranging from Google Sheets to to Confluence pages…. it was hard for us to see progress and having one source of truth. These days, the history of each individual test case is centralised. As a result, we know immediately and clearly the quality of every release, and our anxiety before a deployment has been greatly decreased. It reduces a large amount of time for our [admin and testing] teams to spend on getting them bugs written instead of updating spreadsheets and dealing with those endless email threads. It is doing exactly what we need it to, and for its price tag, it’s getting the job done.

  ### 9. Brought Order to Our Testing Workflows Answer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicola B. | IT Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The ease of use is fantastic. The interface was intuitive from day one so our QA team adopted it quickly. Test cases were written and run in the first week of the project. Native Jira Integration: Creating tickets in Jira from failed tests—we now have dev tickets automatically created for us raising our failed tests—has saved us tons of time over the bug-reporting process.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

It does take a little while to get used to the differentiator between the test plans, test suites, and test runs when initially working through it. Our team understood the hierarchy after some time, but it became second nature once we worked through a couple of projects.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With test case spreadsheets, TestCollab solved our version control nightmare. Now we have one source of truth and it can be audited. Its great visibility on the testing progress has enhanced our ability to help improve our sprint planning and has given project managers the ability to see release readiness from the dashboard in real-time instead of constantly interrupting QA.

  ### 10. Fast Setup and Strong QA Integration, but Wider Adoption Takes Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra V. | Analytics Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The time to value really stood out, it took us less than a month for our squad to be live and starting to structure test cases of our digital employee experience platform. It was easy to use and our QA team right away embraced it as there go to tool for managing complex test cycles. We’ve been putting it through its paces, at least for much of the last year, to validate features that inspect employee endpoints and applications. Integration with our project management feature really smoothly ties testers and developers together.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

While there are a strong number of features around core test management, building dashboards tailored to specific stakeholder groups will take some doing. It's been a slow burn in terms of wider usage than our core QA team members since it does require some setup, but for those that do use it, approximately 25% across the company currently, it is mainly an admin and QA tool as well.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fragmented way we used to test, TestCollab helped us consolidate it. We did not have a good way to follow test progress for our different software modules in the past. Now, we have 1 system that has full visibility of what's been tested, passed and failed. This is a rather important aspect for a product aimed at having IT teams be more proactive, since our own software stability takes priority. The payoff is a more consistent release cycle and better released quality to our customers. The 10 percent loyalty discount on our annual renewal just reaffirmed that partnership.

  ### 11. Easy Cloud Setup and Great Support, but Lacks Standard Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulette G. | Chief Operating Officer, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The low hanging fruit was one of the biggest reasons for us. We loved that it was a cloud-based solution, so we were up and running with 15 users creating test plans in just days for our CAI-powered inbox. It is so easy to use, and that was really important for our clinicians and technicians to get on board with minimal training. We rely on it everyday to verify critical workflows for labs and prescriptions. The customer support was also good, they ve helped us a lot for how to organize the test cases in line with compliance.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

We do not have enough standard features, or really any of them that cannot be accomplished in a round-about way, but this is too slow and laborious. Product usage for the broader org is 20% since it has been phased out to non technical teams.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestCollab has solved our major problem of no defined way to test our healthcare automation software. Testing was previously ad-hoc and a nightmare to keep track of which represented significant risk. Now we have a single, auditable record of every test cycle. And that's just for those, who can manage patient information in a manner with the greatest accountability. The benefit is confidence in our releases, and a streamlined accountable QA process. Our 1 year renewal discount of 10% proved to us that we are receiving a good value from the platform.

  ### 12. Great value for the money.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Owen R. | IT Project Manager | Business Manager,, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

For a team of around 20 users like ours, TestCollab offers an excellent balance between affordability and functionality. The cloud installation process was fast, and we were able to begin developing new test cases by the end of the day. Its interface is sleek and intuitive, which made onboarding new users much easier. We use it daily for testing in our custom software development projects. In terms of features, it meets our needs, providing test planning, execution, and basic reporting. We also appreciated the highly responsive customer service during our setup phase.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Our team of over 150 people has not yet fully adopted the platform, with fewer than 30% currently using it extensively—some teams had established routines before. While the core features are solid and reliable, the built-in reporting tools might feel somewhat limited for those who require more detailed project analysis.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool provided an all-in-one solution that replaced the disorganized Excel spreadsheets and documents we previously used to manage tests. It has greatly improved how we organize QA for our AI and IoT projects. Having all our test cases and results centralized has enhanced traceability and reduced the time developers spend clarifying bug reports. As a result, our workflow from development to testing has become much smoother, leading to more stable software releases for our users. Receiving a 10% discount on our renewal was a pleasant surprise and made us feel that the value of our continued partnership was recognized.

  ### 13. I need a test management channel testing (posting works fine).

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madeleine D. | Analytics Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The website is simple to use and our team didn't have much difficulty in transitioning. We liked it after testing it for around six months, so we bought a year’s worth of the license and have since renewed. We use it everyday to handle test cases for our Salesforce consulting business, especially to test custom objects and AppExchange package installs. The roll out was smooth and its great to integrate it with our other systems. Your support team were great about the install - speedy replies to all our setup questions.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Although it includes all functions I (we) needed, the UI for managing a large amount of testcases could be better. A couple of the coolest are not immediately evident and it takes a bit of playing around to fully appreciate how they can be used.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our homegrown CRM solution tests are centralized. Previously, we've maintained test cases in isolated documents and there was no way of knowing which version was the most current. Today, everyone labor’s from a single source of truth that is constantly updated. This has allowed us to make the quality checks for client deployments a standard, reduces mistakes, and is an easy way to update project managers on progress. The first of which is a more reliable and structured release process for our Salesforce solutions.

  ### 14. Clean, Reliable Test Management That Just Works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia T. | Quality Assurance tester, Computer & Network Security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

It’s simple and convenient to use. The test cases are easy to create, and the tests are easy to organize, meaning our analysts can focus on testing rather than being frustrated with difficult software. The dashboard provides a clear, up-to-date picture of our testing progress, which is helpful when we want to do an at-a-glance status check.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Some of the advanced capabilities are somewhat stripped down compared to dedicated tools. Reporting could be more customizable for deeper analysis, and the system of user permissions could offer more granular control for bigger teams.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives a useful central place for all our test cases, rather than lots of separate documents and spreadsheets. This has been a massive help for our organization and efficiency, and has helped to ensure that everyone (the organization) is using the latest best practices, and eliminated tons of duplicated work. The main thing is that we get a repeatable, structured process, it also forces us to do more consistent and more thorough testing.

  ### 15. A Real World Application on Lean Testing journey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc M. | Quality Assurance | Maintenance Supervisor, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

TestCollab has been a great inclusion to our testing process. The ease of use is definitely something that makes Visme very special – the interface is simple, so our team was able to catch on fast without needing too much of a learning curve. Setup was effortless, they even led us through onboarding through their support team. The platform is packed with features (including a real-time dashboards and AI-based test case creation) that allow you to take control of every aspect of testing in one place. We use it every day and it keeps all the stuff in one place. Customer support is dependable, and they are there for quick questions when we need them.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Not a lot to dislike, but it could be better. More flexibility when coding reports (in a designer view) as sometimes need a little digging that’s not easy to extract. The interface is serviceable, but it looks a little old. It can take some time getting fully comfortable, particularly for newer team members, with the number of features. Everything was pretty smooth to install, though more comprehensive tutorials for more complex setups would be welcome. Support is fantastic, sometimes trick questions take time. Because we use it all the time, these are minor irritations but they bear mentioning.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestCollab has made our testing much organized and efficient, which had been a cumbersome task earlier with spreader documents and manual follow ups. Now we have one place where we can control our test cases, follow results, and view status in real time. It has reduced the amount of duplicate work, and has made it easier to see where we might have gaps in testing. The AI based test case generation is a time saver, and reusing cases across projects makes things very efficient. Our team is more in a flow, we’re catching things earlier, and we have seen an improvement in the quality of our releases, and we’ve lowered the stress level of trying to hit deadlines.

Recommendations to others considering TestCollab:

TestCollab If you need a no-nonsense test management tool that encourages your team to stay on the same page, test drive TestCollab. You’ll be able to dive into every feature of the free trial and see if it fits your setup risk free.

  ### 16. Our Test Process was Simplified from Day One

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric Z. | Real Estate Agent, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The best part was just how fast we were able to get started. Transitioning from this spreadsheet mess to a system as structured as you’ve made it was a boarding smooth. The interface is clean and doesn’t make itself a distraction so everyone on the team can use it without a steep learning curve. I really really really need the option to add custom statuses and fields – I should be able to structure the board exactly how we work, not the other way around. The real-time dashboards are awesome to quickly see from a high level where we are with a release without having to sort through reports.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

The main functions are strong, but the reporting module could be deeper and more customizable for further analysis. I would also like to have more freedom in the way we organize/test case when we are in a test run, it can be a little bit frustrating if you have a very specific way you want to structure a test cycle.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It ultimately provided one true source of truth across all of our test cases. “Before, it was all over the place and we had a nightmare with the version control. Now we have a single place where users can browse, copy and update the code. This has all but eliminated duplicate work and makes sure that everyone is always testing against the latest version of a case. The single biggest value is clarity – we have a clear, structured process that makes it easy and worry-free to plan a release and track what we need to accomplish.

  ### 17. Added Much Needed Structure To Our Testing Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jude A. | Chief Operating Officer, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The visibility into our testing progress that the platform provides is top-notch in clear and simple dashboards. It is also straightforward to monitor completion status and discover bottleneck quickly. The centralized test case management has removed queries over versions and being out of date.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Setting everything up at first was more involved than I had anticipated. Some of the reporting features could be more versatile to meet our compliance and documentation requirements in healthcare.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addressed our significant problem of disparate testing documentation and variance in practices. We’ve also established accountability, reduced rework and sped our release cycles since we can point to a single source of the truth for test management. The payoff is increased confidence in the quality of our software and better spending of our team's time.

  ### 18. The Solid Core Platform with Intelligent Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The tight integration with Jira is what I like best. Generating detailed bug reports into our projects automatically has saved us hours of time and room for error entering data manually. Basic test management features are sturdy and consistent, there is a nice setup for all our test cases and runs.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

The AI superpowers for creating test cases are fairly average and the AI is good only as long as you give her a very detailed and specific prompt, also it tends to be quite generic. The basic setting up for workflow automations could be a bit more intuitive.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It bridges our QA and development processes. It bridges the gap by taking test results and bringing them into our project management tools. It benefits us by greatly accelerating the bug lifecycle, eliminating any “lost-in-translation” errors and making the releases faster and more stable.

  ### 19. TestCollab Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tushar D. | Senior Engineer 2, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The platform allows for unlimited testing and executions, making it highly flexible. I appreciate the ability to reuse test steps, cases, and suites, which streamlines the process. Additionally, the use of custom fields enhances versatility and speeds up workflows.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

The UI uses a separate screen for test execution, which makes the user experience less comfortable. This screen can be disabled, but users are not immediately aware of how to do so. For instance, they may need to request the account admin to change the settings. Additionally, the platform does not support mobile-based app testing.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simpler integration with popular bug trackers has been implemented in the company to support project requirements management. It allows for the automatic reporting of bugs found during testing, as well as the automatic updating of reported bug statuses when a test is marked as passed in Test Collab. Bi-directional integration is supported for JIRA and

  ### 20. Super easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | Quality Assurance Tester, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2021

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

We have been using spreadsheets for test cases in our company. Test Collab is one of the few test case management tools we tried. I found it easier and a good tool for what we need as there is no steep learning curve, and I was able to get my whole team onboard quickly.

The ability to report issues in JIRA automatically makes collaboration with other teams simpler.

I really appreciate Vishal’s customer service as he is always ready to help us.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

I have no issues with TestCollab, and there is no point which I dislike

**Recommendations to others considering TestCollab:**

This is a really good software especially for teams who are moving from excel.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our test cases are now easily managed and work can be assigned to testers without duplication.

  ### 21. New version is very promising.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2021

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

Tried the new version of TestCollab and found it so superior to the previous version. Here are few things I liked-

I like the new Test Run page as it’s very user friendly
I like how I can @mention my team mates and communicate with them
I really like the new in app notifications
I like how we can now create new suites in bulk using CSV
Saved filters saves us a lot of time
New bulk actions works great
I like how we can filter test cases by so many fields and export them easily.
Overall I am highly impressed with TestCollab’s team

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

I would like to see support for BDD for test cases.

**Recommendations to others considering TestCollab:**

The team is extremely proactive and responsive to help users with their needs

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past I tried TestCollab, but I wasn't that impressed with it. For anyone with a similar experience, I recommend giving TestCollab 2 another shot.

  ### 22. Test Collab 2 is an amazing test management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2021

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

Upon signing up for TestCollab 2 which their team launched recently, I was quite impressed with this product. I really like the clean and modern User interface as I tried 5-6 other test management software but most of them are pretty outdated.

Using the automatic assignment feature, I can now evenly distribute workload among all my team members without manually wasting my time.

It's nice how Jira integration has a separate page for checking the bugs, which is a great feature in that we don't need to dig through each plan to find the bugs reported by testers.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Would be great if there were more reports and customizability to built dashboards

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestCollab allows us to structure the test case repository and separates test cases from testing results in the test runs. Thanks to the time estimation feature, you can find out easily how much time is required to do regression testing.

  ### 23. I'm not sure to like it...

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2020

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

The most interesting with this tool is the fact we can log everywhere with every computer.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

- The tool is very long. The reaction time after a click is very long
- The report is not precise enough. I would like to see results about all steps. We only can see results about test case :(
- When you open a suite, the first sub-suites open themselves automatically. I would like to choose by myself which one I want to open.
- Reporting UI is not really nice
- It is a pity not to be able to modify the test cases during execution

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- I like to know the percentage of the work done
- Tracking the progress of executions is very useful

**Official Response from Shriti Grover:**

> Thank you for the review :-)

- We have implemented new measures to improve speed of the software this week. If you still face any problem, please feel free to message us.

- Can you please let me know in which report, you would like to see step wise result as currently you can see step wise result by clicking on each test case name in that execution..

- Can you please message us about this as I just checked several times but a sub-suite does not get opened until you click on it. So, maybe I am unable to understand the problem.

I will be happy to have a call and make sure all problems you are facing are resolved.

Regards,
Shriti

  ### 24. Could be a great solution for a small team, but lacks a lot of functionality to drive reporting

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2020

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

Very usable UI compared to other solutions in the same price point, and still prettier than Zephyr standalone. Workflows out of the box are very simple and the ability to create templates is perfect for generating smoke test cycles, while tagging can be used in conjunction with execution templates to generate targeted regression execution suites

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Graphs cannot be filtered. The reports are not very configurable. The inability to remove test cases from test cycles is irritating. Custom fields cannot be used for filtering in the new UI. Failing to set the assigned user before saving selected test cases to an execution removes selections which is poor UX when a handful of tests in nested suites were chosen. The timer on the test is a bit much, it would be nice to have a way to clear time data from all executions as it does not paint a good picture of how long a cycle would take us if someone left the window open for several hours over lunch or something. A simple field for a manual entry of time required would be fantastic for estimating the length of test cycles.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to reuse tests which provides an easier way to ensure we are thoroughly testing each iteration of our software solution. This is a major time saver and allows us to update tests easily when new workflows are implemented that impact existing tests. There is easy visibility into what has been tested by adding executions to milestones and allows us to see how many tests are run on average, as well as find tests linked to development tasks in the even a bug gets out so that we may implement new strategies to reduce bugs in the future

  ### 25. Some interesting features but an unfinished product

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2020

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

Test collab promises a lot, especially when dealing with test cases that can be used across multiple projects (when for instance you're declining the same product to different clients with some specificities).

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

Performances drop significantly as you add more test cases and users to your project.
Many features are half-finished (linking test cases, could be improved and be less rigid), there are still bugs (we have had "ghost" test cases showing up in our database).
The UI is quite stark and you cannot fully preview a test case when in a test plan page, requiring to enter the test case page (which means loading a page, which takes a long time when your project starts to grow).
It is not possible to create your own reporting template, you have to use those included with Test Collab, and in our case none of them are suitable for our needs.
Overall the Test Collab still feels like a beta.

**Recommendations to others considering TestCollab:**

There are probably better and cheaper alternatives.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We lacked a common solution for testing our product across all platforms and Test Collab provides that.

  ### 26. Test Collab is user friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2020

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

Test Collab is very user friendly to use.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

- Viewing the content needs more work. (i.e. Viewing the "Expected Result" cuts off from the right side. Unless you go to edit section, users will not be able to view the full page). S
- The site looks outdated.

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping tracks of Test Cases.

  ### 30. Brian review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2018

**What do you like best about TestCollab?**

I like the ability to have a base set of tests that can be edited. But running them in categories or by section is super helpful when testing through issues or problem areas.

**What do you dislike about TestCollab?**

I'm not a fan of the interface where you need a separate screen. Maybe a minimized version with a pass, fail, pause option only (like a mini tab on the side of the screen)...?
I would also suggest some sort of interface allowing the importing of excel/csv files with test cases into testcollab.

**Recommendations to others considering TestCollab:**

Section off a plot of time to enter test cases and organization

**What problems is TestCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to estimate and track testing progresses, and what has been covered by other testers on my team.

**Official Response from Shriti Grover:**

> Hi Brian,

Thank you so much for the review. We do have a setting to disable the separate screen of test execution. You can ask you account administrator to disable "Sequential popup" in general settings. You can read more about this here-
