Hi, I’m Carlos Vega, co-founder & CEO of Tesorio. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’d love to speak if you’re open to it, please shoot me a note: carlos at tesorio.com.
Listening to our customers has always been a key part of our journey and I meet regularly with them. It was early customer insights that inspired us to look at the A/R space. While it’s always difficult to hear that someone is dissatisfied, I find those conversations incredibly valuable and always look for ways to learn and improve. Your input is important to us, and we’re committed to using it to continue evolving and better meet our customers’ needs.
The background with QBO is that we built the integration for ourselves so that we could use Tesorio at Tesorio, and then others started asking for it. Our VPs of Finance and Customer Success are power users who provide unfiltered input to our product team.
But you’re right, we have been focused upmarket for a long time, and our product is optimized for companies running ERPs like NetSuite, Workday, and Intacct, and we have more implementations for Oracle & SAP than we have Quickbooks. But we hope to grow here too.
We initially targeted the middle enterprise market because it was more underserved. You picked up on the fact that our QBO offering is not as robust as the mid-market/enterprise offering. Our strategy is to keep the core features simpler, reflecting the generally simpler workflows of QBO users, while identifying and developing the most valuable features for this segment. The cool part is that we've been adding new workflows upstream in the order-to-cash process, giving our QBO users first dibs. I’d be happy to share more when we talk.
You’re correct in that our invoices are generated by QuickBooks. However, we run Tesorio for our A/R. Since there are many regulations in the invoice creation process with our multinational customers, our strategy has been to allow the ERP to be the source of truth and control.
As of today, almost everything you highlighted is available in the other ERP integrations, but we’re moving quickly and as we learn more, you’ll see updates here too. If you want to keep track of some of our latest features, we can add you to our product updates newsletter, and you can follow how we’re pushing the limits at www.tesorio.ai.
Thank you again, and I do hope you reach out.
Cheers,
Carlos
