Cloudera Data Engineering provides a solid environment for building and managing data pipelines at scale.
I like the way it integrates with Apache Spark and Airflow, making batch processing and scheduling efficient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially in hybrid cloud environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cloudera has been an outstanding partner in wanting to understand our main use cases to ensure we are getting value. We have really grown as an organization thanks to their expertise and dedication. In the last three years, we've seen many business problems come up and so far we have been able to solve the majority of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our implementation grew so quickly that we had scaling and performance issues. We were able to resolve our issues with Cloudera's expertise but we noted that the product documentation was not comprehensive enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We used the Cloudera Data Platform to create a robust solution addressing challenges in the extraction, ingestion, and utilization of CSV data, providing a seamless experience for end-users for one of our Projects. We used it to automate the data extraction process and to ingest the processed data into an external table on the Cloudera Data platform to be used for front-end reporting using Plotly Dash. We didn't particularly dislike anything about the tool. Overall it was a very effective and powerful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Usability and security is one of the core feature that I like the most with cloudera DB. Highly scalable and implementation is not a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
expensive and not supporting intranet to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They were slow to resolve any scaling and performance issues we faced. The product documentation needs to be more comprehensive. The pricing needs to be better especially considering the merger with Hortonworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Things are mentioned. It does provide flexibility in managing data across platforms there needs improvements in terms of integration. The security measures are not decent. The platform is free to download and use the lack of customer support is difficult for users who encounter issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1)If we try to run or trigger airflow tasks simultaneously it throws unauthorised error
2) Airflow jobs on running the privileges applied on these jobs are of the ones who created it not submitted the job Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clouderas is unable to solve the problems of scaling and performance. The product documentation need to be more comprehensive their support was not valuable. There isnt anything that I find favorable, about the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is difficult to use and meets our expectations. Some aspects leave me unsatisfied. It does not solve data management problems its simplicity is primarily limited to work related tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cloudera Analytics DB is my top pick because it delivers unmatched performance and seamlessly integrates with powerful analytics features. It just nails it when it comes to handling large datasets – exactly what I need for my analytics tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cloudera Analytics DB is strong on data processing, but its documentation could be more detailed, making it challenging for users to navigate complex data configurations. Improving documentation clarity would greatly enhance the overall user experience with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
