Contract review is where it's earned its keep — I run agreements through it and get flagged clauses and risk points back fast, with little editing needed afterward. It plugs right into Word and Outlook, so it fits into tools I'm already using daily instead of forcing a separate workflow. The interface is clean too, and setup was smooth from day one. Integrations with Word and Outlook are solid, but that's about where it stops — I'd like to see it connect with our document management system, too. Before I started using it, first-pass contract review was eating up hours every week — going line by line through vendor agreements, NDAs, renewal contracts, all of it, just to catch the stuff that actually mattered. A lot of that time was spent reading pretty boilerplate language over and over just to make sure nothing weird was buried in there. This application speeds that part up a lot. I can drop in a contract, and it'll flag things like unusual indemnity terms, weird termination clauses, or payment terms that don't match what we normally agree to, and it does it in a fraction of the time it'd take me to read the whole thing manually. I mainly use Harvey AI to speed up my research work, drafting, and for contract analysis. It saves huge time for me, especially in research work as it cuts contracts and due diligence. Harvey AI accelerates drafting, saving a lot of time by eliminating manual checking through automating repetitive tasks like summarization. I like the ability to handle a huge amount of documents for analysis without missing accuracy. I love its workflow automation, which allows building custom, automated logic for repeatable tasks like motion drafting. The Vault feature is also really helpful as it can analyze a huge amount of files at once and provide structured tables of key terms and risk flags. The security and confidentiality aspects ensure our firm's data isn't used for any other purposes like model training, giving us confidence for use in sensitive client matters. There are some areas where it needs improvement like the user interface. Enhancing it, especially by having a better interactive onboarding tour for associates, would help everyone effectively use its advanced features. Another issue is the latency of the Vault function. Although it can handle a large amount of documents, it takes more time than usual, causing delays in filtering and categorizing. I think having a document management system with direct, two-way smooth syncing with platforms like iManage would be helpful. What I like best about Harvey AI is how intuitive it is to use while still delivering high-quality results. It fit into my existing workflow with minimal effort, and the integrations made it easy to work alongside the tools I already use. The AI itself does a great job of understanding context rather than simply summarizing information. It pulls out the details that actually matter and helps organize complex documents in a way that saves time without sacrificing quality. Performance has been consistently fast, even with lengthy files, which has noticeably improved my productivity. Although it's an enterprise-level investment, the return has been worth it because of the time it saves and the efficiency it adds to document review and research. The onboarding process was smooth, and whenever I had questions, support was responsive and knowledgeable. The biggest downside for me was the pricing. It's a great platform, but the cost can be hard to justify, especially if you're a smaller firm or just getting started. I can see the value if you're using it regularly, but the price definitely gave me pause. Every now and then, I also had to reword a prompt or ask a follow-up question to get exactly what I was looking for. The AI is smart, but it's not perfect and still benefits from a little guidance on more complex requests.
