**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that it gives me the opportunity to design a survey visually, with a variety of question options to choose from. I also really enjoy the copy and paste questions feature for quickly importing a bunch of questions!

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Sometimes it is more difficult to share with users who are not premium subscribers. I've had moments where the link is broken and I cannot review results. I also dont like the export system for results. Its also a bummer that it cannot be integrated into other platforms like how Microsoft forms can be integrated into Sharepoint. Also the inability to attach large files or excel files prevents it from being useful for data intake.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey for feedback forms, intake forms, and collecting ongoing sentiment. We often need a central place to gather that kind of input, so it’s useful for us in that sense.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I like most about SurveyMonkey is how quickly I can take an idea and turn it into a well-structured survey, especially with the help of its practical templates. Features like skip logic and real-time responses save me hours every week because I no longer have to do as much manual sorting or send as many follow-ups. I also depend far less on Excel now, since the built-in reports are clear and organized enough for me to spot trends almost instantly.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

One drawback of SurveyMonkey is that a lot of the most useful features—such as advanced logic and more detailed export options—are locked behind the higher-priced tiers. The free plan and the lower-level plans start to feel restrictive as soon as your surveys become even a little more complex, which can be frustrating when you need more flexibility.

It helps me make decisions faster because responses are organized and visualized in real time, rather than being scattered across multiple sheets. **What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really like the ability to use SurveyMonkey's SkipLogix for directing survey respondents to the relevant parts of the survey, allowing me to use the same survey collector for multiple groups. This makes it possible to collect data from various groups and download it into an Excel file, which is far easier to manipulate than combining surveys from different sources. I find SurveyMonkey to be excellent with nothing in particular that needs improvement. I also appreciate its flexibility for more complicated tasks compared to other tools like Google Forms. Although it's been a long time, I remember the initial setup being fairly easy, and it's still easy to set up new surveys.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

No so many people are familiar with completing surveys in it.

SurveyMonkey lets me use the same survey collector for multiple groups, and it makes data easier to manipulate when downloaded to Excel.

The ease of use of the program is great. Beginners should have no problem figuring out how to use this program. Survey results are great to compare and contrast answers. Breakdown of each survey question is great. Survey Monkey is an easy-to-use platform and gives good results.

The features are somewhat limited and the look of the surveys could be improved. The format of the pages could be improved to look more professional.

Makes sending out surveys really easy. I can reach a big audience with a few clicks. Surveys are easy to navigate and easy for respondents to answer and send back. It certainly beats sending out paper surveys!

One area that could be improved in SurveyMonkey is the limitation in the free version. Another thing is customization. While the survey builder is easy to use, sometimes the design and layout customization options feel a little limited if someone wants more control over the appearance of the survey. Also, when surveys receive a large number of responses, managing and filtering the data could be made a bit more flexible.

I like that SurveyMonkey allows me to send out an electronic survey without requiring users to sign in, which is important for our older respondents who might find signing in a hassle. I appreciate that I can download both single and multi survey analysis, as my surveys include multiple-choice and free response questions. Additionally, I value that the responses are timestamped; this helps me evaluate how long surveys take, ensuring they are efficient and encouraging to complete.

The price is unbelievable, and I wish that each question autosaved. It’s so expensive I will not renew for the next year. The initial setup was a little weird, especially learning how to save questions and publish a site.

I find SurveyMonkey really easy to use and to implement. It's straightforward for both the user creating the survey and the person taking it. The initial setup was also extremely easy. I appreciate the ability to make a master survey and tweak it for different leadership needs, which makes sending out surveys much quicker and simpler. Plus, it offers great capabilities that allow me to really dive into the data I receive and use it effectively for other presentations.

I find some of the buttons kind of confusing when I try to print a survey. It's not as easy or straightforward as it could be. Copying and editing also take some getting used to, especially the buttons which could be improved.

Can handle very challenging, multi-branch studies and help you quickly program them.  The gold standard for consumer recognition which is also important.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

More than ever, we now include .jpg uploads from consumers. There is no fast/easy way to output them all in one command. Hopefully, that is remedied.  Also, expect that they will allow video uploads in the near future.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey allows us to launch highly professional surveys quickly, easily and reliably.  I had a client recently use Google Forms for a study. It was a disaster and I scolded them "what do you expect for free"?  We ended-up rescueing the study with SurveyMonkey.

I like using SurveyMonkey for creating both internal and client-facing surveys for our firm because of its ease of creation. The drag and drop builder is particularly easy to use, which makes the process straightforward. The initial setup was also easy, and I find that it really facilitates efficient data collection.

Logo management at the top of surveys is a bit of a hassle since it always makes our logo too big or too small, and there's no easy way to manage this across devices due to responsiveness issues.

Lately, I’ve been really impressed with their new AI features. It makes drafting and refining questions so much faster, which perfectly complements the drag-and-drop builder I already liked. It honestly cuts down the survey creation time by half.

The pricing structure is still a bit steep for smaller teams, and navigating the analytics dashboard can occasionally feel cluttered when handling complex logic. A cleaner, more modern look for the data reporting side would be a great addition.

I like the fact that is easy to share with employees or prospects, it balances simplicity and analytical depth. I like that everyone can build a professional looking survey in minutes.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

What frustrates me a bit about SM is how its default settings can lead to dirty data if tou aren't careful, for example i remember a survey asking users to select the single language they were most proficient in. Becase the default setting for the question type allowed multiple checkboxes, users kept selectin languages so I had to manually edit the instructions in all caps to stop them. I know you have a Radio Button and a dropdown menu, I guess my critique is that the platform doesn´t make this toggle intuitive. If my creators forget to switch it, you end up with messy data.

A massive problem, honestly. Data friction and guesswork in businness. Gathering feedback meant using google forms, low response rates or manually doing it. I love hoe SM does the analytics and heavy lifting, I can automatically see trends and catch red flags

I like how easy it is to create and edit surveys with SurveyMonkey. I also appreciate the options to collect data, which stand out for me. The initial setup was seamless. If I have any questions about the layout or run into issues, I can rely on their support team for prompt and helpful assistance.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Sometimes surveys disappear and I have to create new ones, although I have active links for the missing surveys. When I send them out they are in my portal but once I go back I cannot find them. I resolved this by creating new ones, I am not sure how to prevent this from happening.

I like that SurveyMonkey integrates with HubSpot, making it easy to get information into my CRM based on the answers from clients and prospects. This helps with lead nurturing, scoring, and assessing if they are a good fit for our services. I also found the initial setup of SurveyMonkey to be super easy.

Sometimes I want to create a quiz-style survey where at the very end, it gives participants a category or a score and then allows them to read more information on it, and I have not seen a feature for that, which would make the post-survey experience better.

I really like how SurveyMonkey speeds up the process and eliminates the need for printing out paper evaluations, providing a lasting record of the feedback. It's easy to duplicate surveys, which means I don't have to replicate an entire survey every time—just change the title and make small edits. The integration with my cloud AI adds convenience, and creating things like QR codes through SurveyMonkey is very straightforward. The transition from paper to SurveyMonkey was very easy, just like transposing our existing forms and changing a few details. Our clients usually appreciate the digital format.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It's very user friendly, comes with a lot of templates and guidance for setup. I like the feature that estimates around how long a survey would take to complete. Sharing feature is great for having others on the team review the survey and ensure it flows well before sending it out.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

If I want 1 question per page once I have already added in all of my questions, I need to manually adjust and add in each page after each question. There is no bulk edit to adjust each question to be its own page. I also can't bulk edit that each page contains required questions, I need to set that per page which can be time consuming.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps best when it comes to collecting customer feedback, which helps inform our product roadmap, priorities and messaging/positioning.

I have found SurveyMonkey to be exactly the right fit for sending emails. There are different templates you can explore to find the right fit. Alternatively, you can duplicate your existing template, which is what I do as it best fits my business. There are other options, such as timed emails, which is helpful. Moreover, it’s easy to pick up and learn how to use.

I have found SurveyMonkey to be easier to use on my laptop than on my phone.

SurveyMonkey has made the disagreeable task of sending weekly emails easier by providing a platform that makes building an email easier with its blocks and sections.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I used to create surveys for a client through Survey monkey and at that time I did not have enough experience with creating surveys. The first app was SurveyMonkey that  i chose because of it’s easy User Inerface and it is even better now with the navigation and shareable links. It is much easier now

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I’d say they can add some more colors to their plane coloring on the survey creation tool

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey has the most simple workflow which anybody can understand and that itself is beneficial. We can set up a faster feedback flow with any number of details in it.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It is easy to navigate, it is easy to export reports and data, it is affordable, it has evolved enough for general evolution and advancement, but hasn't lost the core purpose of why the platform exists and ease of use.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I don't like how I can only log into survey monkey from 2 locations and I have to remove a device if I want to log in at another location.  The security requirements seem elevated for the content and the platform.  It makes logging in cumbersome at times.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to create forms and collect data easily.  I like how the AI has improved ease of survey creating and being able to upload text questions of what you are trying to create and the system builds your survey for you.  It saves a lot of time.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I use SurveyMonkey for a variety of work-related surveys and it really helps me collect feedback from a variety of people across my organization, and in many locations. I appreciate the variety of options for question type, which satisfies my different learners and helps to engage with people at different levels of my organization. I specifically like the ability to have multiple choice, short form, long form, and more creative responses like the slider bar. The initial setup was very easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The membership and price tiers are a little odd, and I would appreciate more export options and functions. I'd like customizable export options.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to collect feedback across various locations. The variety of question types satisfies different learners and engages all organization levels with options like multiple choice and sliders.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

We love that you can start from fresh or use a pre built survey template. Great for beginner use or someone who has been using for a while! It’s super user friendly as well!! The updates over the last 4 years have been great too!  

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I think that It still my previous point of HIPAA safe information or any potential PHI info. I think that keeping patient identifiers is super important and we use this that way at our company. Just something to think about for the future I think! 

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WE  are able to use it with so many people at once, no limit to how many respondents, in a company like the one i work for, it can be sent hospital wide and we have no issues with the amount of people that can or cannot respond.

I think SurveyMonkey is interesting because it offers a visual presentation different from what other tools do. Data extraction is also easy. Additionally, it allows you to create alternatives, set mandatory questions, close when something is answered, and offers variable manipulation in multifunctional studies. It is very versatile.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I think the cost of data collection on SurveyMonkey is too high, which discourages many people, including other researchers like me, from paying.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey for field data collection in scientific research. I like its distinct visual presentation and easy data extraction. It offers versatility with features like mandatory questions and variable manipulation in multifunctional studies.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I appreciate SurveyMonkey's recording feature and all the different available features for questions. I really like the reports; they're very valuable and help us with continuous improvement. It captures direct feedback from the learner, allowing us to apply changes quickly, essentially by the following week.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I don't like the fact that you can't brand with SurveyMonkey at the pricing level or subscription level that we're at. I know it has SurveyMonkey on it, but at least dual branding would be nice, even at that level.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey lets us get immediate feedback from training sessions, capturing direct input from learners. This feedback is invaluable for continuous improvement and can be applied quickly, often by the next week.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

This is easy to set up, and it makes it really simple for people to stay anonymous. I want feedback to improve my programming, and this helps me get that.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The only downside I’ve experienced is that I sometimes forget I have a survey open. I’ll mean to close it once I’m done using it, but then I forget it’s even there. It would be helpful to get a reminder to close the survey after a period of inactivity.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to gather feedback from our members, and I want it to be open, honest, and reflect their true thoughts. That’s how we improve—by refining our processes and programming so we can keep making things better.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey is a great Online Survey tool because it is easy to set up, and questionnaire design can be completed using AI or autofill.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I dislike that I cannot use it for offline data collection, and the rooting or filtering for setup follow-up questions/answers is limited or does not perform according to my requirements. That should be improved.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I will say maybe the time to script the questionnaire and the time analysis part has improved over the years.
