  ### 8. Intuitive and Easy Setup with Some Chart Adjustment Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I use SurveyMonkey for professional forms and surveys for data collection. It's my go-to for any forms and surveys, with advanced features that simplify organizing the logic and response collection. I like its simple interface and ease of use. Some examples off the top of my head of what I've used SurveyMonkey for at work include electronic ballots in place of physical ones for conferences, evaluation surveys from attendees and exhibitors of conferences, etc. The response showcase is also appealing and easy to share with colleagues. The setup was very easy, as it was pretty intuitive and I didn’t need to read extensively on how to use its functions.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I have had issues with adjusting the built-in charts that were displayed from collected responses. The adjustments were finnicky and I was unable to reverse some changes, which was frustrating. I reached out to SurveyMonkey's support team on how to restore my original charts before the adjustment and they told me that it is unfortunately non-reversible for some reason. If I had known that, I wouldn't have played around with the chart as much as I had and just used the preset one that was provided. It also took them a while to answer my question which was not their fault, but of course, frustrating as well. Better usability and being able to reverse adjustments would help.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey is my go-to for forms and surveys, simplifying logic and response collection with advanced features. Its simple interface and ease of use, along with the intuitive setup, mean I didn’t need much reading. I also find sharing responses with colleagues very easy. As a reliable tool, I am confident to take on tasks that require some sort of form set up on behalf of work colleagues.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like the ease of use of SurveyMonkey. I really appreciate the simplicity of just sharing a link and waiting for responses. It's great that you can create different types of tests and customize the forms. I find it useful to receive reports with analytics, which almost come already graded, saving me a lot of time. Additionally, I can have detailed analytics by group, by test, and by student.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The cost, I wish it weren't so expensive so I could make an upgrade.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey for exams and forms. I find it easy to share a link and receive responses quickly with almost graded analytical reports, saving time. I can customize tests and obtain analytics by group, exam, and student.

  ### 10. Versatile Quiz Platform with Room for Enhanced Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like the different types of quizzes that SurveyMonkey offers because it's not just one quiz that you can use. There's an AI tool which is quite helpful. I also appreciate the multiple different ways of responding. The additional features allow me to edit and personalize it how I want. Using the premium account, I get access to a lot more features on offer. Even though I probably don't use it to the fullest that I can, the features I am comfortable using are great and work well. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I think maybe a live chat option or a help tutorial would be great. There are certain features on SurveyMonkey that I'm not sure how to use or I can't work out how to use. Having a lot more information in a step-by-step guide could really help broaden my knowledge and let me use it to its fullest capacity.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to log quizzes and answers, which makes it easy for me to track scores and information in one place and pull reports as needed.

  ### 11. Easy to Use With Good Data Interpretation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amey B. | Senior Field Applications Engineer, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It’s easy to use and offers excellent data interpretation. I like that I can ask different types of questions depending on what I need. I haven’t tried the integration or the AI feature yet, but so far the overall experience has been very positive.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

You only get 10 questions for free. After that, the pricing seems a bit expensive. I also have concerns (in general) about security, the cloud setup, and overall data privacy.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven’t used it for any of my businesses yet, but I have helped some non-profit organizations create surveys with it. So far, it’s been easy to use and a real time-saver for getting things done. That said, the free 10-question limit has also caused some problems for us.

  ### 12. Easy API connection to our client portal and flexible custom fields and rules

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

There’s an option to connect the API to our client portal, which is very useful, and it’s easy to add different kinds of fields.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Having only 3 'seats' per login, when we need different people in the organisation to log on at different times

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to survey clients about our work with them (NPS survey), and to collect pre-workshop questionnaires as well as document uploads from clients ahead of a training session.

  ### 13. Pwerful too for Managing Homeowner's Associations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan C. | On-Site Association Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really like all of the different options for analyzing results, graphing them in various ways, etc., as well as how easy/user friendly it is to learn to design surveys. I manager an HOA and we use survey monkey for a variety of things: actual surveys, silent auctions, CPR class signups, etc. The program is very flexible/versatile in its possibilities.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I don't really dislike all that much to be honest, havent had any issues yet.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

n/a

  ### 14. Effortless Survey Creation That Lets You Focus on Content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tori S. | Lead Office Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like the ease of creating surveys, it is not super complicated and allows me spend more time on the content versus on learning how to format the survey.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The extra costs for some features is kind of annoying, I feel like more should be included in the base price.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using SurveyMonkey to conduct Exit Interviews for our employees and analyze the data so we can fix our issues with high turnover rates.

  ### 15. Survey Monkey: Powerful Integrations and API Access with UI Tradeoffs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Unlike some other survey platform options out there, Survey Monkey offers plenty of third-party integrations and includes API access even at the non-enterprise level.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The UI feels clunky and a bit outdated. I often have to dig around to find different settings and configuration options, which makes the overall experience less smooth than it should/could be.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, the integrations and the data review/analysis components are huge wins. We can connect Survey Monkey to rewards tools, automation platforms, and our analytics environment with minimal effort. The survey data analysis and visualizations are presentation-ready, and they save our team a ton of time on formatting and getting results into a shareable format.

  ### 16. SurveyMonkey Makes Post-Event Surveys Easy, Clear, and Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie H. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It’s so easy to use. We usually get great responses from our customers and employees when we send out surveys after events, and the feedback comes back clearly and quickly.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

There isn't anything about SurveyMonkey that we've come across the we dislike. It has been a great tool to use.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has helped us fine-tune our events by showing what people like and dislike, and by making it easier to review suggestions and feedback.

  ### 17. Prompt Feedback That Helps Us Improve Programs and Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer G. | Staff Social Worker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Gives us prompt feedback with our programs to be able to use to improve services, to develop new programs based on actual needs of our constituents, and gives us quotes/feedback for our board reports.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Have not had issues other than needing to practice with it to see how to make it work best for our needs.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us get feedback in an easy way so we can get a better response more promptly.

  ### 18. Multiple fast-to-build question types

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The newly added **"Prepared for You"** section is effective in helping speed up the workflow.
The "Workplace Culture Pulse Survey Template" is thoughtfully designed and aligns well with common research requirements. I found it particularly valuable because it offers practical ideas and inspiration for creating new surveys more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

It should continue improving the quality and variety of its pre-built survey templates. In addition, quota-based brand selection should be easier to configure.

For example, in a single-select question such as "Which smartphone brand are you considering purchasing?", if the quota for Brand B has already been reached, it would be very useful if that option were automatically hidden from the list of available answers. This would improve both the respondent experience and the efficiency of quota management.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It facilitates data collection in customer satisfaction surveys. I can create quick surveys with its simple interface. I can create surveys in different designs with the interface I want.

  ### 19. Survey Monkey is Easy to use but comes at a price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar Sharma B. | ASSOCIATE BUSINESS DIRECTOR, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2025

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey AI assistance is an amazing, useful tool for generating survey quickly and efficiently. It suggests question which should be part of the survey at the blink of an eye. This has made my life much easier.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

For my type of Surveys, I have not faced any issues recently. I will update if i need any help.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an online marketeer and have to do market surveys regularly for my set of brands that i managed. The product is amazing when using the paid version. It solves 90% of my worries around questions that can be asked with the help of expert designed templates and branding options.

  ### 20. Essential Tool for Program Success Metrics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I love the ease of use of SurveyMonkey, especially for measuring the outcomes of our STEM programs. The statistics generated are really helpful, and I appreciate the ability to provide multiple formats like PDF and Excel. The generated statistics with visual graphs are particularly useful for presenting metrics to our funders.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I would love a more robust statistical analysis, similar to SPSS or other stats programs. It would also be great to upload a Word doc with all my questions and response choices and have SurveyMonkey draft a survey. Currently, having to input questions one at a time takes time. Additionally, pricing for additional licenses and access on more than two computers would be helpful. I'm unsure how integration with other tools works.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to measure program outcomes, providing metrics for funders and guiding internal improvements with ease of use and generated statistics.

  ### 21. Easy to Navigate, Built-In Templates Make Survey Creation Fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica T. | Human Resources Generalist / Payroll Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The system is easy to navigate and the built in templates allow for faster and easier creation of surveys.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I don't like that the surveys are not as easily sent out to everyone. For example, the majority of the employees at my company work in the field and it would be easiest to text them the link for the survey. However, to be able to do this through SurveyMonkey would cost the company over $14000 per month, which is ridiculous.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to use SurveyMonkey to hear from our employees, but we have not been able to reach all of our employees due to the inability to text the survey link direclty from the system.

  ### 22. SurveyMonkey Makes Creating and Analyzing Surveys Fast and Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiwari S. | Systems Integration Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I like most about SurveyMonkey is how simple it makes creating, sharing, and analyzing surveys, even without technical expertise. The wide range of ready-made templates and question types helps you get started quickly, while still giving enough flexibility to customize surveys for specific needs. The reporting and analytics are clear and practical too, making it easy to turn responses into actionable insights—whether you’re gathering customer feedback, running research, or measuring satisfaction.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

What I don’t like about SurveyMonkey is that many advanced features—such as deeper analytics, logic controls, and export options—are locked behind higher-priced plans. Because of this, the free and lower-tier versions can feel quite limiting if you need more detailed insights. Also, while the interface is easy to use, the design and branding customization options are fairly limited, which can be a downside for teams that want surveys to look more tailored or visually distinctive.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey solves the problem of collecting structured feedback quickly and at scale. Instead of relying on informal feedback or manual data gathering, it provides a reliable way to design surveys, reach the right audience, and analyze responses efficiently. For me, that means saving time, improving data quality and consistency, and turning feedback into clear, actionable insights. It’s especially helpful for understanding customer sentiment, measuring performance, and validating ideas with real input rather than assumptions.

  ### 23. Survey Monkey Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vibhor J. | Lead Support, Medical Devices, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

1. The UI is very friendly, and I can create surveys quickly without needing technical skills.
2. It automatically displays charts, graphs, and filters, and it supports exports (Excel, PDF, CSV), which makes the analysis process simple.
3. It also enables smooth collaboration across different platforms (Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Sheets), which makes the overall workflow even more productive.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

1. The trial plan comes with a limited number of questions, responses, and advanced features, so it’s better to choose a paid plan if you want to get the most out of it.
2. Priority or live support is mostly reserved for higher-tier subscribers. If you’re on a lower-level or free plan, don’t expect the same level of support.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to work on different projects in my organization, and as we all know, it’s important to take the opinion of every member involved. In such cases, a simple survey comes in handy. I create a survey and share it with my project team. Once I receive the responses, I analyze them and share the results with upper management so they can make further decisions.

  ### 24. Easy to Use and Speeds Up Question Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Definitely how easy it is to use! I like that once you type a question it guesses the type of question and how you want answers, makes it much faster!

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The export option is a little confusing but after doing it a few times it got easier. I also think there should be a better option of how to view the results. When we use it we want to see individual responses.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are asking employees about their opinions on things around our workplace and then also just some fun surveys. SurveyMonkey makes it easy to collect anonymous responses and a quick way to get the information.

  ### 25. Flexible Survey Customization That Fits Our Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The freedom to customize the survey to the way my organization desires.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

There’s nothing I dislike about SurveyMonkey, but I do wish some features were explained in a more broken-down, step-by-step way. A few parts of the interface can be frustrating, and clearer explanations would make those features easier to use. Overall, the integration experience is good, and the performance is good as well. My organization is getting its money’s worth. I’m not the person in charge of requesting support if it’s needed; that goes through my supervisor. Also, I’m against AI and would rather figure things out on my own.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey is meeting my organization’s needs.

  ### 26. Easy UI, Strong Forms and High-Quality Reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allan S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The Form possibilities and Reports Quality.
The UI and UX are easy, performance is good, I did not use integrations, pricing it's not the best but it was ok for the projetct we used. AI worked ok and did not need support.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

There was some features that we could not use because of the plan.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved a survey for a client asking for NPS and much other questions.

  ### 27. Inclusive Surveys Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kim g. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I have used SurveyMonkey to take surveys in my office for gauging what may be working or not and for voting on where and when to have happy hour events. SurveyMonkey makes it possible to be inclusive with all of our staff's wants and needs while including those who work in-office and remote. I love that it breaks down analytics and makes it easy to get everyone involved. It was incredibly helpful in determining what was most valuable to our team and understanding what percentages were wanting or not wanting change. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I wish that there were more features to sort questions. It would be better if SurveyMonkey could suggest question types based on the information you need.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey helps include both in-office and remote staff in decision-making. It breaks down analytics to identify team priorities and preferences, making it easy to get everyone involved.

  ### 28. Affordable and Accessible, But Needs Real-Time Notifications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that SurveyMonkey is affordable, accessible, and easy to use. It's easy to navigate, even for someone like me who hadn't used it before, making it simple to set up and create a prescreening survey. I really appreciate how easy it is for participants to just click a link on various platforms, making it accessible for recruitment. Additionally, it is cheaper than other services like Zoom that I use, which costs around $30 to $35 a month, while SurveyMonkey is under $20, which is a big help for my dissertation expenses.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey takes too long to send notifications. I got no notifications letting me know that someone filled out my prescreening survey. I prefer real-time notifications, but I get an email the day after, which is too late for me. It feels more like an annoyance because, by the time I receive the email, I've already learned about the response another way. I often have to check the app myself to see if anyone has responded because I know it won't notify me immediately. Also, there's no student discount, and I feel like I'm paying too much without any reduction for being a student.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey allows me to easily access potential participants for my dissertation recruitment by sharing a link, enabling effortless data collection without direct outreach.

  ### 29. Intuitive Survey Building with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee K. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I find the functionality of SurveyMonkey to be very good. The building of the survey is intuitive, which is probably my favorite feature of the software. Additionally, it allows me to create some reasonably complicated logic during the survey-building process. The export function and analyze function are really helpful as they allow me to confirm that the results match the responses I've received. I also like how easy it is to create unique links to track where people are coming from when they fill out the survey.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I was disappointed that I couldn't use the advanced logic to build a question that then would route. It was an advanced routing logic, and that wasn't available with the standard plan. And I think it should be.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to build surveys with complicated logic, export results, and analyze them easily. It helps confirm responses match results, and creating unique links to track respondent sources is straightforward.

  ### 30. Effortless Surveys with Outstanding Usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon R. | Agency Resource Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I appreciate SurveyMonkey because it allows us to easily create surveys and access a lot of data, which is especially helpful given that our United Way office is small and doesn't have many staff members to handle survey creation. The platform does a lot of the hard work for us. I also find it incredibly easy to pull in constituents in a secure and private manner while reaching a broad audience simultaneously. The initial setup was extremely easy, and if a colleague or friend were to ask me what they should use, SurveyMonkey would be at the top of the list.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I can't think of anything that comes to mind I don't like about Survey Monkey.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey allows us to efficiently collect secure, private data from many people at once. It simplifies survey creation, especially important for our small team with limited staff.

  ### 31. Efficient Survey Creation with Powerful Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that SurveyMonkey solves the problem of having to go around to each person and get their feedback. It compiles data into one place efficiently. I appreciate that it gives the answers in concise and easy-to-read reports. I like that I can create a survey in AI and dump it right into SurveyMonkey, which saves me tremendous time. The variety of options for answers and making answers required or not is really useful. The setup process was very easy. I also prefer using SurveyMonkey over Microsoft Forms because it better meets my needs.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

In Microsoft forms, I can insert pictures into the survey. I'm not sure if SurveyMonkey allows that, but it is helpful sometimes. Being able to insert pictures into questions, for example, if you are sending a survey out for employees to choose a variety of sweatshirts as a reward, it is helpful to put a picture of the sweatshirt next to the questions.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey solves the issue of collecting feedback manually by compiling data in one place and provides easy-to-read reports. Creating surveys in AI saves time, and SurveyMonkey seamlessly accepts the format.

  ### 32. Effortlessly Customizable with Powerful Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Massimo M. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like most of the fact that SurveyMonkey is very easy to use. It's very easy to design a survey and get a link for the survey to share across email or text or whatever other channel. I also like its analytical capabilities a lot; the reports it provides once the answers from the survey participants are in are very helpful. The design features help me develop a survey in a very short period of time, and they give me the option of setting up the questions and the answers in the format that works best. The analytical capabilities really help me understand the overall level of satisfaction, as well as the details from comments provided by participants, helping me understand what went well and what needs to be changed. The initial setup was extremely straightforward—very easy, very simple, got up and running in a matter of minutes. Really fantastic.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I've tried to use the integration of SurveyMonkey into Excel or Word. But I haven't been hugely successful. So that's probably something that needs to improve, and I need to understand better how that works.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to tailor training content to participants' needs and industry, and afterward, it helps me understand what went well and what needs improvement, enhancing future trainings.

  ### 33. Effortless Surveys, Needs Improved Data Comparison

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** F R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like the ease of use for building evaluations and surveys with SurveyMonkey. I also really appreciate the exporting of data feature, as it makes handling survey results much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I would like the chance to merge different surveys (albeit with the same questions), but right now, it does not have the capability to do that. Not being able to compare and contrast two or more surveys is also an issue.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to see if training programs are effective. Its ease of use and data export features are great, but I can't merge different surveys or compare them, which is frustrating.

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The setup is easy and well organized, and there are plenty of options available for survey formatting.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I wish there were a way to afford a higher level without having to pay for the full year in advance. I would have chosen a higher level if I’d been able to split the payments.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to reach a large demographic in a shorter period of time.

  ### 36. Streamlined Feedback Collection with Intuitive Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle B. | Director of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

SurveyMonkey also gives me a clean and concise method of soliciting feedback and being efficient in how we collect it and report on it. The initial setup was really easy.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I feel that the pricing and team structures have limitations.

SurveyMonkey provides a clean and concise method for soliciting feedback, making my process efficient in collecting and reporting. It saves me time with templates, and conditional fields allow for more intuitive and adaptive forms.

**Reviewed by:** Adam P. | Site manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The site has has done a recent update and it's very attractive and sleek looking.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

This is still best for paid users who want to do anything beyond very simple and limited numbers of responses.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used SurveyMonkey to collect information with a simple online form. A simple form that is easy to share and utilize has been helpful for connecting with our clients or new prospective customers.

  ### 38. Powerful, Easy-to-Use SurveyMonkey with Great AI Features and Onboarding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali K. | Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Lots of powerful features in an easy-to-use suite. It’s a nimble, high-performing platform that’s straightforward to use. Lots of new AI features, excellent support during onboarding, and overall integrates quite well into our stack. Dollar for dollar, SurveyMonkey offers the best value for our team.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Generally we love SurveyMonkey and thankfully haven't had any significant issues with the platform. We've ran into times where surveys don't send or have errors but that's typically our fault & resolved quickly.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From our perspective SurveyMonkey isn't really facing any significant issues, they offer an excellent platform for our team at a good price. We are generally happy.

  ### 39. Fast, Polished Surveys with Time-Saving Templates and Real-Time Responses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn R. | Business Analyst, Mystery Shopper, Hospitality Surveyor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey helps me quickly create clean, ready-to-send questionnaires. The drag-and-drop editor makes it simple to customize questions, and the templates save me a lot of time. Sharing surveys by email or link is reliable, and seeing responses come in real time is both convenient and impressive.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

For sales teams, the platform can feel pricey for ongoing use, especially with limits on responses and many advanced features locked behind higher tiers. Some CRM integrations also come across as clunky, and setting up more complex logic can be a bit fiddly. Reporting exports could be more flexible as well, so it’s easier to pull the data into a dashboard quickly.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey helped my business boost retention and satisfaction by surfacing clear customer feedback. We measure renewal intent, space needs, and service gaps, then tailor our offerings and responses with our team. The result: faster issue resolution, targeted improvements, and a better, more personalized client experience.

  ### 40. Survey Monkey Makes Surveys Effortless and Worth the Price

I think the ease of use for Survey Monkey is the most impactful factor. It's simple to set up, simple to send, and more importantly simple to fill out for those it's sent to. It can be integrated into emails so easily it makes it's use incredible. The prices is so worth it, especially in terms of the feedback we get when we use it.

Sometimes I do struggle with finding support on some of the features, but the team at Survey Monkey is helpful.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Feedback is essential for marketing and Survey Monkey solves this problem for us in a way no other application has so far.

  ### 42. Effortless Surveys, Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adit C. | Graduate Research Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I mostly use SurveyMonkey for creating and keeping records of events happening in my organization. I like the data organized, and SurveyMonkey has a feature that allows showing data based on the selected questions or categories. It's easy to use and is easily understood, even by non-technical users. SurveyMonkey is built so users can move from idea to finished survey without needing training. The interface is clean, the steps are clearly separated, and nothing feels hidden behind complex menus. I connect SurveyMonkey with Excel for deeper filtering, pivot tables, and custom charts, and it is very easy to connect. The initial setup was very quick because the platform is designed to get new users from sign-up to the first survey with almost no friction. I would call the setup smooth, intuitive, and surprisingly fast.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

You can't fully control layout, fonts, spacing, or visual designs. Connecting the branches of the questions can be tedious for some people.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey organizes data based on selected questions, which I like. It’s user-friendly, even non-technical users can create surveys easily without understanding complex formats.

  ### 43. A reliable, low-friction survey tool I return to regularly for structured feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tarun K. | IT Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I appreciate most about SurveyMonkey, even on the Basic / Free plan, is how intentionally it is designed around the core act of creating and distributing surveys without unnecessary friction. When I log in, I’m not overwhelmed by configuration decisions or setup steps. The platform makes it immediately clear where to start, whether that’s creating a survey from scratch or using a pre-built structure as a foundation. This clarity matters because surveys are often created under time pressure, when the priority is collecting responses quickly rather than learning a complex tool.

Ease of use is one of SurveyMonkey’s strongest points. The interface feels mature and predictable, which means I don’t have to re-learn workflows each time I come back to it. Question creation, answer options and basic logic are presented in a straightforward way that allows me to focus on the wording and intent of the questions rather than the mechanics of the tool. Even when switching between different survey types, the experience stays consistent, which reduces cognitive overhead and speeds up the overall process.

I also find myself returning to SurveyMonkey frequently because it handles the full lifecycle of a simple survey in one place. From building questions, to sharing the survey link, to reviewing incoming responses, everything flows logically. For basic use cases, I don’t need to integrate additional tools or export data immediately to feel productive. I can check responses directly in the platform, get a quick sense of participation and identify trends without extra setup.

Another strength is how stable and dependable the platform feels. Surveys load reliably, links work consistently and respondents don’t encounter confusing interfaces on their end. This reliability is important when surveys are shared with external participants, because responses need to be collected consistently without technical issues. I don’t have to worry about whether a respondent will struggle to complete a survey or abandon it due to usability issues, which helps improve response rates and overall data quality.

The free plan’s feature set is limited, but it is clearly defined. That transparency actually makes the product easier to use because I know what to expect. I can design surveys, collect responses and review results without constantly running into unclear boundaries. For straightforward survey needs, the available features are sufficient and the platform does not feel artificially complicated just to push upgrades. SurveyMonkey’s help resources and customer support have been helpful whenever I’ve needed clarification on features or plan limits, making it easy to resolve questions quickly and continue working without interrupting my workflow

Overall, SurveyMonkey fits naturally into my workflow as a tool I can rely on whenever structured feedback or data collection is needed. It doesn’t demand constant attention, customization, or maintenance. Instead, it provides a clean, efficient environment where I can create surveys quickly, distribute them confidently and review responses without friction. That consistency is what keeps me coming back to it over time.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The main limitation I notice on the Basic plan is how quickly you can reach feature constraints once your needs go beyond simple surveys. Advanced question logic, deeper analytics and more detailed reporting are clearly reserved for paid plans. While this is understandable, it can feel restrictive when you want to explore results in more depth or customize the survey experience further.

Response viewing and export options are also limited on the free tier. When working with larger response sets, it can be harder to slice the data in meaningful ways directly within the platform. This means that for more analytical or long-term projects, upgrading becomes necessary sooner rather than later.

That said, these drawbacks are more about scope than usability. The platform works well within its intended boundaries, but those boundaries are something to be aware of if survey complexity grows over time.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey solves the problem of collecting structured feedback in a fast, organized and repeatable way. Instead of relying on unstructured emails, messages, or ad-hoc forms, it gives me a centralized place to design surveys that are easy for respondents to complete and easy for me to manage. The biggest benefit is time efficiency. I can go from idea to live survey very quickly, which is especially useful when feedback is needed on short notice. Because the platform handles distribution and response collection smoothly, I can focus on interpreting the feedback rather than managing the logistics of gathering it. SurveyMonkey also reduces friction on the respondent side. Surveys are simple to access, intuitive to complete and don’t require extra steps or accounts. This helps improve participation and ensures that the feedback I receive is more representative and useful.

In practice, SurveyMonkey acts as a dependable utility rather than a complex system. It supports recurring survey needs without demanding ongoing setup or customization, which makes it easy to integrate into regular workflows whenever structured input is required. For basic survey use cases, it provides exactly what’s needed: clarity, reliability and speed.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It’s easy to use and straightforward to put together, and I like all the data tools that it comes with.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The reminder feature is kind of hard to use and understand. After I send the first reminder, sending additional reminders becomes time-consuming, especially when there are so many different collector lists to work through.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An easy way to collect data from large groups of people.

  ### 45. Effortless Surveys, Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like the interface of SurveyMonkey, and I'm used to it now. It suits my needs just fine, and I find it seamless with no surprises. I like the fact that I can easily import the data into an Excel spreadsheet. Also, I can customize the interface, adding the Ottawa U logo, which makes it look sleeker and more professional. I was able to use SurveyMonkey without having to read any instructions, which says a lot about how well the interface is laid out. The initial setup was quite easy; I didn't read the instructions and was up and going in no time.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I sort of had a problem finding under which icon or link I could find the results under at the beginning.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to conduct surveys in my classes and compile results to produce statistics. It allows me to easily import data into Excel, and the seamless interface suits my needs.

  ### 46. Effortless Survey Creation with SurveyMonkey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marisa R. | Administrative Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I love that I can duplicate surveys because I use that feature very often for job functions that I have to do monthly or annually. I just duplicate surveys that I used in previous years and edit them. I also really like the feature where you can prepare your questions ahead of time and just copy and paste them, and SurveyMonkey takes it and turns it into a functional survey for you. It also provides the suggested formats for different questions based on the type of question that I typed out and provided. The initial setup of SurveyMonkey was very easy, so easy that I don't even remember it.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I guess, it would be really nice to get an automated email. We already receive automated emails to notify my when I have a response, but I have to log in to see the submission details. It would be really nice if I could a quick preview of the questions that were answered in the automated email that I received, so that I do not have to take the time to log in to the program and check the results.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to get quick feedback and compile important information easily. It helps me measure things I would find difficult otherwise. I love exporting the survey responses, because it provides me with a formatted report that I can filter and build off of.

There’s a lack of options and versatility when creating a form. It feels really limited in the design.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**
