## SurveyMonkey Reviews
 ### 1. An Excellent Tool for Training Feedback and Continuous Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JoJo T. | Senior Technical Trainer-BP, Automotive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I like best about SurveyMonkey is its ease of use and flexibility. It allows us to quickly create professional surveys, gather feedback efficiently, and analyze responses through clear reporting and dashboards. The platform makes it easy to understand participant feedback, identify trends, and make data-driven improvements to our training programs. I also appreciate the types and customization options available to create engaging and effective surveys.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

For training feedback surveys, I occasionally find that deeper reporting and customization features require higher subscription levels. It would also be helpful if some advanced survey logic and reporting functions were more intuitive for first-time users.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey helps us solve the challenge of collecting, organizing, and analyzing feedback from training participants efficiently. Previously, gathering feedback could be time-consuming and inconsistent. With SurveyMonkey, we can quickly distribute surveys, monitor response rates, and gain actionable insights through reporting and analytics. This allows us to identify areas for improvement, measure training effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions that enhance the learning experience for our technicians and stakeholders.

 ### 2. Flexible, Easy-to-Use Surveys with Strong Analytics and Great Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine M. | Technical Glue, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really like how flexible SurveyMonkey is. It offers a lot of options, and I appreciate how straightforward they are to understand and use. The drag-and-drop builder and quick-build features are excellent, and I like that I don’t have to worry about anything getting overly technical—everything just works.

The analytics are also very helpful, especially because I can review the results and make adjustments based on what they show. My team also felt that SurveyMonkey gave us the best value for the money, with a strong mix of services and features for the price, and it scales well for our small team.

From a performance standpoint, we were very satisfied and didn’t run into issues at any point. Our users and respondents also didn’t experience any performance problems. We used the Slack integration to send relevant responses directly to stakeholders, and the setup was super easy and didn’t require any technical assistance. The guides, documentation, and support from SurveyMonkey were great as well, and they made sure we didn’t have any lingering questions or confusion.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I didn’t directly dislike anything. That said, I did find some of the tabs—and where to locate certain features, options, and toggles—a bit confusing and not very intuitive.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use SurveyMonkey to better understand our users’ perceptions of our programs and products. It gives us a solid estimate of overall sentiment. I was especially impressed by the AI feature that provides a sentiment score for open-text responses. In my experience, it’s generally accurate, with only a few scores that were clearly off.

 ### 3. Nice tool, but communication regarding prices could be more honest.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larissa Ventura V. | Research Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It features some helpful tools for a basic research, and the pricing for the basic montly individual plan is affordable SurveyMonkey offers smart features such as question suggestions, survey templates, skip logic, answer validation, response transfer between questions, and automatic data analysis with charts and filters. These features can make survey design and analysis more efficient, although many of the more advanced automation tools are restricted to paid plans.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

1 - Misleading advertising: it is unclear what you actually get for your money. You perform a basic upgrade only to discover that certain features are still locked behind more expensive plans. Simply labeling a feature "premium" isn't enough, you have to be specific.
2 - Technical issues linking apps (during synchronization with a Google Sheets spreadsheet) and no support at all
3 - More than 3 days waiting for a reply by email (still dont get it) because of the problem related above. There is no "support" (or the "support@surveymonkey.com" is wrong)

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are conducting a business feasibility study, and Survey Monkey is proving useful as an initial piece of basic research.

 ### 4. Straightforward, Budget-Friendly Surveys with Flexible Question Types

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire R. | Communications Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Survey Monkey is very straightfoward to use during the building phase. I send surveys every month and it's easy to duplicate my existing survey and amend it using a variety of item types. I've used platforms like Qualtrics before and they're needlessly confusing and more survey engine power than we need. SurveyMonkey is perfect for our small company to send professional surveys with diverse item types on our budget.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

While I like the in-site user analysis experience, including that it shows both tables and charts of the same item, I find the exports to be very cluttered and hard to manipulate. It could be because of the item types I use, but I can't just export and then circulate the sheet. It always needs considerable refining to make it understandable. I find Google forms exports to be much clearer and more ready-to-share.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey helps us send a high volume of surveys while keeping subscription costs affordable.

 ### 5. Helps me get useful feedback without the faff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like best that SurveyMonkey makes it simple to build surveys quickly and get clear results without a lot of extra work. The templates and AI features save time, and the reporting tools make it easy to turn responses into something useful.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I dislike that SurveyMonkey’s pricing and feature limits can feel restrictive, especially when you move beyond very simple surveys. Many of the options you naturally expect to use, like certain question types, higher response limits, or exporting data, sit behind higher‑tier plans, which can be frustrating when you are just trying to run straightforward internal or community surveys.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey is helping us solve the challenge of gathering structured feedback from staff, partners, and our wider community in a consistent way. Instead of juggling ad‑hoc forms, emails, and spreadsheets, we can build surveys in minutes using templates and AI suggestions, then share them via links or email. This has significantly reduced the time it takes to launch a survey and collect responses, and the built‑in reporting makes it easy to spot trends and share clear summaries with stakeholders. Overall, it’s made our feedback and evaluation process more efficient, more consistent, and much easier to scale across different projects and campaigns.

 ### 6. Reporting and Data Export

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connie V. | Development Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Very easy to navigate through the options and create surveys from scratch, or copy and paste. One of the best features for me is that I can share a survey with co workers. Exporting data is also important to me.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I’d like the export function to include more options. Right now, I have to delete blank columns and rows after exporting. I can live with removing blank rows, but blank columns that aren’t part of the survey shouldn’t be exported into the spreadsheet in the first place. I’m hoping there’s an option available—something like a setting or a button—that would automatically eliminate these empty columns (and ideally the blank rows as well). I export a large amount of data in the spring, and I ended up creating a separate spreadsheet that imports the export, then sorts it and removes the unwanted columns and rows with the push of a button, just so I’m not repeating the same steps thousands of times.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

 ### 7. Fast, Reliable, and Feature-Rich Survey Creation with SurveyMonkey

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vannaro D. | Analyste des politiques junior, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really enjoy using SurveyMonkey because it’s fast, reliable, and easy to use. It provides a wide range of powerful features at a reasonable price, which makes it straightforward to create surveys, distribute them, and analyze the results. I also appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with other tools and platforms, helping me streamline my workflow and stay productive. SurveyMonkey’s smart features, such as automated survey distribution, response collection, and built-in analytics, help save time and simplify data gathering. However, I found that some automation and customization options are limited compared to other platforms. While the reporting tools are useful, creating more complex surveys or visually engaging experiences can require additional effort and manual work.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

While SurveyMonkey provides solid survey capabilities, I’ve found it falls short when it comes to advanced customization and flexibility in visual design. When I try to create more sophisticated or strongly branded surveys, the available options can feel limiting. On top of that, the survey-building process sometimes comes across as time-consuming and a bit cumbersome. A more versatile interface, along with greater freedom in design and layout, would go a long way toward improving the overall user experience.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/a

 ### 8. Easy-to-Navigate UI with Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle A. | Scholarship Coordinator & Youth Strategies Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The UI is so easy to navigate through. We have utilized SurveyMonkey for both surveys and event registration when we needed to put a cap on the number of attendees. The customization is great and I like that we can upload things that are needed for multiple surveys versus having to individually set things up each time.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I wish I could duplicate settings when duplicating a survey. I love the fact that I can make so many customizations to my surveys but dislike that I can't duplicate the settings. I had to set up 12 surveys that had the same settings with the exception of a few words within the survey, the date, and the number of replies. Instead of being able to just change those things, I had to completely set up the settings again for each one, which was very time consuming.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to put a limit on our event attendance - something that we have not been able to find for a good price. It has met the needs that we needed just because we thought outside of the box!

 ### 9. The only way to survey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raven B. | Communications Coordinator, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like the updated reporting features and how easy they make it to export and analyze survey results. The platform feels more streamlined and user-friendly than before, making it quicker to find the information I need. I also appreciate how the reports are presented in a clear, organized format, which makes it easier to identify trends and share results with others.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

It would be helpful to have more reporting customization options, especially when filtering, grouping, and formatting data for different audiences. Making the data analysis tools even more intuitive and adding greater flexibility when exporting reports would further improve the overall user experience.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this time, I haven't experienced any significant problems with SurveyMonkey. It provides an efficient way to collect, organize, and analyze survey responses, making it easier to gather feedback and identify trends. The reporting tools also help save time when reviewing results and sharing insights with others.

 ### 10. Well-Integrated Surveys with Zapier and Powerful Conditional Logic

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S. | Curriculum Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that it is a well-integrated platform; I can connect it to other services, especially Zapier, to work with data and easily automate workflows. I also like that the conditional logic makes it easy to fine-tune which questions users see so that a single survey can cover many edge cases.

Support has historically been very responsive. When we had issues with our account's plan that affected visibility of our surveys, we were able to get it resolved fairly quickly.

The service also seems to be reliable from an uptime perspective. We've never had any issues with downtime or unavailability of surveys.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Things that feel like they should be easy, like line breaks in the description at the beginning of a survey, seem to behave inconsistently. I also feel like SurveyMonkey is pricy relative to the value I receive from it, but this may just be because some of the features aren't relative to our use case. I wish there was more support for customizing the visual feel of our surveys with custom CSS.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey created an easy way for us to collect RSVPs and post-event surveys for the online webinars and panels we host. Because we can integrate it with Zapier and transmit responses to other services, we've almost completely automated the process of organizing our registrants and sending confirmation/reminder emails.

 ### 11. Stable, Reliable, and Competitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andre F. | Faculty, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I use SurveyMonkey for scientific research, especially in collecting large amounts of data. I like its stability; I have never been caught off guard by updates or bugs throughout my years of use. The reliability is great, as I can store various data on the platform without worrying about loss or distortion. The price is competitive in Brazil, which I consider a great benefit. Additionally, the initial setup of SurveyMonkey is simple and intuitive. I decided to switch to SurveyMonkey because I found the platform lighter, faster, and with the best cost-benefit after trying other options.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I find it difficult to further alter the design of how questionnaires are presented on different devices. I frequently use collections on mobile phones, and for some older models, which are common in Brazil, the screen adjustment becomes very small or does not facilitate interaction. It could be easier if we had alternatives for scaling adjustments for different screens and resolutions. This also impacts older and slower phones, which would help us think of alternatives.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to expand the reach and facilitate the creation and administration of surveys, especially in the collection of large amounts of scientific data.

 ### 12. Easy to Use for Everyone, with Powerful Tools and Resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanner H. | Construction Laborer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It is easy to use without having to be a statistician or engineer to use the software. There are plenty of in depths tools and resources available to those who want to use additional features, reports, etc. but it can easily be used by just about everyone to gather helpful data for your company.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

It can be hard to understand the benefits / downsides of the different account types when it comes to pricing opportunities. Some of the "level ups" don't seem to provide what I would want / expect out of a higher plan or subscription. This may be specific to our company however because we currently use Survey Monkey in a very specific way and are not utilizing every possibility of the services just due to what we need the most.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathering employee insight and input in a simple to facilitate process that helps us determine how to lead and make changes based on the feedback we receive. It helps cut through the rumor mill and provide real, honest and timely feedback to initiatives, trainings, potential changes in the organization and so much more.

 ### 13. Simple UI, Helpful Support, and Smart AI Insights for Customer Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hitesh K. | Senior Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Survey monkey has helped us in getting feedback from our customers as well as partners. The User interface is simple to use without requiring much research on the website. We have rarely faced any performance issues across the timezone while navigating actions through the site. The pricing provided for licensing is moderate considering the options available. Simple integration with MS teams & Outlook has made execution easier for us. The support chat has always been helpful in timely resolution of issues. The latest AI features have helped in providing trends & anomalies in survey responses.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

They do not allow multi devices usage for a single ID, you have to delete the login from one system before using in another. This creates problems when switching to devices. Suggestion would be to allow users to use on multiple devices, however not at the same

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Survey monkey is able to analyze the responses from the customers, provide summary on key findings & follow up with customers where responses are not received. Earlier we had to manually follow up with the Customers. This has saved time in manually identifying where responses are not received

 ### 14. Easy to Use but Needs Better Data Analysis

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James M. | VP, Collaborative Impact, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that SurveyMonkey is really user-friendly and intuitive. It's easy to create questions and design them in a way that matches our organization. Sharing with colleagues for editing purposes is simple, and I find it easy to update and duplicate surveys as needed. The platform allows for team members to engage without a lot of background experience, making it functional across different types of programs and data collection needs. Overall, it fits seamlessly within our organization and it's easy to onboard new users.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Sometimes I struggle with the analyzing of the data portion. It's difficult to get the data in the form that is most helpful for us. I don't love the way you download the data, and the naming features make it difficult to work with the files or the data after it's been collected. Sometimes it's difficult to see whom something is shared with, and how to share it with other colleagues that we might want to incorporate into a project.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to create feedback surveys which helps us gather and analyze data effectively, ensuring program success and learning how to improve.

 ### 15. Very solid, feature rich product which could be more affordable and accessible

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan A. | Principal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It offers a wide range of features and an interface that runs smoothly. When it comes to quizzing and creating surveys, there’s very little it can’t do. We have 5 versions of our survey up, each in a different language in order to determine meal satisfaction. SurveyMonkey keeps our data organized and safe. We use their integration with Google Sheets to take our data interpretation to the next level. The pricing is quite high and we cannot currently afford their top level which would allow for a single survey in different languages. Overall, the performance is good. We do not use ant of their AI.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

It can be too complicated and over engineered in many ways. The cost is prohibitive for many organizations. One feels locked in if you need to run surveys for a long period of time. There is no onboarding support.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our surveys were one-offs and more dosorganized before using this product. We struggled keeping things organized prior but now have a good repository for our surveys. The use of surveymonkey makes our business appear more professional and organized. They are dependable.

 ### 16. Effortless Feedback Collection and Insightful Analysis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayla L. | Clinical Operations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I use SurveyMonkey to create surveys and collect feedback for work, and it has made the entire process much more efficient. The platform is very intuitive, so creating surveys is quick, even for more detailed projects. The setup was straightforward, and I was able to start building surveys with very little learning curve.

The feature I find most valuable is **Analyze Results**. Instead of exporting data and spending time organizing responses in spreadsheets, SurveyMonkey automatically presents the results in an easy-to-read format with charts and trends. This makes it much faster to identify patterns, summarize feedback, and share insights with my team. It has significantly reduced the amount of manual work I used to do after every survey.

Navigation throughout the platform is simple, and I can easily find the tools I need without wasting time searching through menus. An unexpected benefit has been how much time it saves when reviewing large numbers of responses, allowing me to focus more on acting on the feedback rather than organizing it.

Before SurveyMonkey, we used Microsoft Forms to create surveys. While it worked for basic surveys, SurveyMonkey has made both survey creation and data analysis much more efficient. Overall, it's been the best survey platform I've used, and it has noticeably improved my workflow.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Overall, I've had a great experience with SurveyMonkey and haven't run into many issues. If I could improve anything, it would be the pricing and plan options. Some of the more advanced analysis features would be helpful to have included in the lower-priced plans, especially for users who rely on reporting but don't need every premium feature.

I also found the subscription options a little confusing. I had trouble finding the monthly plan and ended up purchasing the annual subscription instead. Making the different billing options more visible during the checkout process would make it easier for customers to choose the plan that best fits their needs.

Other than that, I've found the platform easy to use, reliable, and straightforward. The onboarding process was simple, the interface is intuitive, and I've had a very positive experience overall.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using SurveyMonkey, we relied on Microsoft Forms to create surveys and then manually organized the responses to identify trends. While it worked for basic surveys, reviewing the data and creating meaningful reports took much more time than we wanted.

Since switching to SurveyMonkey, our workflow has become much more efficient. The interface is clean and intuitive, so creating surveys and navigating the platform is straightforward, even for new users. The onboarding process was simple, and I was able to start building surveys almost immediately without much of a learning curve.

The **Analyze Results** feature has provided the most value. It automatically organizes responses into charts and summaries, making it easy to identify trends without manually sorting data in spreadsheets. The reporting tools have saved me time and helped me make decisions faster.

Performance has been reliable, and I haven't experienced any issues with creating surveys, collecting responses, or accessing results. While I haven't needed many integrations, SurveyMonkey has worked well within our existing workflow without creating extra steps.

From a pricing perspective, the time saved on survey analysis has made the investment worthwhile. My only suggestion would be to include more reporting and analysis features in the lower-priced plans and make the monthly subscription option easier to find during checkout.

I haven't needed to contact customer support because the platform has been easy to use from the beginning. While I don't regularly use the AI features, the built-in analysis tools provide helpful insights that reduce the amount of manual work needed to interpret survey results. Overall, SurveyMonkey has made collecting feedback and analyzing data much faster and more efficient than the tools we used previously.

 ### 17. Robus Templates, Easy Sharing, Real Results - SurveyMonkey Powers Our Product Decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica B. | Director of Product Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey is very intuitive and easy to use. You do not have to be an expert at writing survey questions SuveyMonkey allows you to start with an idea, template for users can build the survey's from scratch leveraging a templatized question. There are hundreds of templates to chose from broken down by different focus areas. I also am loving starting from an idea. I can type in my thoughts and the tool will create a survey that I can edit based on my ideas! The tool is easy to integrate with other platforms, I work for an ed tech company and use it for NPS survey in our LMS (BenchPrep, Thought Industries) to rate user experience and impact of our courses and content. We also use the tool for market research and customer feedback. The platform is robust and provides several output options that are easily shareable so I can always quickly run an analysis and share it in multiple formats with my stakeholders. Pricing is reasonable, we have a company instance with several users across various teams and it is easy to share surveys with other teams so you are not reinventing the wheel. The tool is so easy I have not had to leverage onboarding or support, it always works and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The main thing that would make this more self-serve is a knowledge base. There are so many features and so much functionality that having easily searchable topics based on common questions and/or specific features would really help. It could optimize usage and impact, and it would improve the overall experience and onboarding by letting users educate themselves on the available features and functionalities. Much more seamless. With our LMS we have the ability to access the knowledge base and search on topics and then self help articles with instructions are served up. This minimizes the need to go direct for support. That is the only feature I can think of that would make this platform even better.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform helps us measure the impact and satisfaction of our products. It would be too difficult to reach out to customers directly without a tool like this. SurveyMonkey makes it possible for our company to quickly measure and understand market and customer feedback, so we can ensure we’re delivering products and education that are impactful and valued in the market. It also helps us collect very detailed feedback, which we use to refine our products, identify what may be missing, and understand what gaps we still need to fill in the market.

 ### 18. Highly Customizable Surveys with Strong Branding, Tracking, Reporting, and Payment Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleth R. | Vice President, Cincinnati Chapter of Development Network, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Customization in the form fields, ability to use branding requirements of my organization, variety of ways to send and track responses, reporting features, integration with online payment of survey recipient.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

A missing feature is the ability to automatically remove a list or bullet option once the maximum number of responses for that option has been reached. For example, if there is a max of 12 registrations for a specific speaker panel, the 13th (and later) respondent should no longer see that speaker panel as an option to select.

Also, the inability to allow payment for different cost options is less than satisfactory. For example, respondents must $10 for an S-XL shirt size and $15 for 2XL+. I am unable to identify how to configure Stripe and Surveymonkey to charge two different costs.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this tool to track RSVPs, capture volunteer interest for specific opportunities and dates, and gather feedback on event experiences. I also use the built-in AI features to summarize survey results, which makes it easier to review responses and understand the overall takeaways. The ability to retract all response data and use it to reach my business objectives is also valuable.

 ### 19. Straightforward, Easy Surveys with Powerful Analysis and HubSpot Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie H. | Communications Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey is very straightforward and easy to use, and nearly always has everything I need. Our team also heavily utilizes the Analyze functions of our surveys and uses the graphs and data to create presentations and board reports.

We integrate with Hubspot, which allows us to send follow-up emails to those who haven't completed a survey or form in SurveyMonkey. Generally this feature is easy to use and helpful, though we're just in the beginning stages of the integration.

Pricing is reasonable and competitive.

I haven't use support really at all, so cannot speak on that element.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Just a few small things.

1. We are a network for insurance brokers, and they are our audience for everything. For response consistency, we always ask for basic contact information and their company name, and we like utilizing a dropdown list for companies so that everyone responding from the same company will report with the same spelling/variation/format. SurveyMonkey doesn't allow for custom dropdowns like GetFeedback (what we used previouskly), so I have to constantly update every active survey every time we have a change in our companies.

2. I really wish language translation was easier. I know it's there, but it still requires a lot of manual effort.

3. I sometimes find the theme editing a bit confusing.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Hubspot integration for us is vital. Before, we were manually removing survey respondents from distribution lists so they didn't receive reminders to complete.

I appreciate the ability to collaborate and share surveys with coworkers who also have seats in our account.

Logic/advanced branching is very helpful from us and a vast improvement from GetFeedback's simpler capabilities.

 ### 20. Simple, intuitive tool that gets the job done

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali A. | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2025

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like how easy it is to preview surveys across different devices before sending them. The response summaries and charts are also clear, which makes it faster to understand the results without manually organizing the data. I also appreciate the collaboration features, since they make reviewing and editing surveys with others more convenient.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey could make more customization and survey-logic features available on lower-priced plans. It would also be helpful to have clearer explanations of which features require an upgrade before building the survey. More flexible report formatting, easier data exporting, and fewer limitations on responses would make the platform more useful for individuals and small teams.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey helps me gather feedback from clients/students and team members quickly and efficiently. Before using it, collecting opinions was slow and unstructured, but now we can easily create standardized surveys and analyze responses in one place. It’s been particularly helpful for measuring customer satisfaction, improving internal processes, and making data-informed decisions without needing a full analytics team.

 ### 21. Easy-to-use survey platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie R. | Senior Manager, Digital, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It remains user friendly and a good platform to jump into for surveys. I like that they have a built-in, easy-to-use builder that provides a multitude of options for my surveys. I like that there is a cost-effective option. The plug-ins and add-ons are also good; we don't use them a ton but it's helpful when we do need them. I haven't used support features but assume they would be helpful.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Agree that the skip logic can still be a harder tool to use on the platform. It's fine from a survey taker perspective but can be harder from a set up perspective. Overall, though I really do think it's a good tool to use. They have made some good updates in the platform.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey is helping us gather anonymous intel following events, to help us gather ideas and opinions and to better inform our clients of the information that they are looking for. It's incredibly helpful and easy to use. We're all moving fast so this helps us save time by using an intuitive platform.

 ### 22. Simple, Easy and Use Friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenay A. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I've used SurveyMonkey to gain insight into my clients' preferences regarding our services and scheduling. I've also completed quite a few surveys on SurveyMonkey as a client. The platform appears to remain the same. The layout makes sense and the surveys are easy to take. I appreciate that they are keeping things simple and familiar.

It's easy to set up and send out surveys as well as to review the data upon completion. It's easy to send out surveys via email or direct link. This service has provided my company with good insight into our clients' needs.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I send so few surveys. I prefer products that allow me to pay per use. SurveyMonkey offers a certain number of free surveys that can be sent out. Just like my newsletters, I tend to use this service quarterly or annually, so I'm willing to pay a reasonable rate that reflects my use.

While it seems the subscription approach is becoming the norm, it's not what everyone needs. As a small business owner I'm careful about my spending and SurveyMonkey is one platform that should be available as needed at a reasonable rate.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to collect opinions from my clients about their scheduling preferences. I also needed to gather information about how we are doing as a business concerning serving their needs. SurveyMonkey provides an easy to use platform that allows us to send out simple, quick to complete surveys that are user friendly.

 ### 23. Intuitive Form Builder with Templates That Save Hours Every Week

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachitanand R. | Manager - Product Ops, Media Production, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I like best is how intuitive the form builder is. Instead of spending hours configuring logic, the drag-and-drop interface and pre-built templates save me hours each week when launching new customer feedback campaigns. The UI is clean, and the performance is incredibly reliable - even when handling surveys with complex conditional branching, it loads instantly for respondents without lagging.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

What I find most frustrating is how aggressively certain basic features are locked behind higher-tier enterprise pricing plans. For instance, advanced skip logic or exporting data into specific formats often requires a costly upgrade.
For smaller teams, this significantly lowers the overall ROI, as we either have to manually work around the limitations or pay for an entire bundle of features we don’t actually need. Allowing more granular, add-on feature pricing would be a massive improvement.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using the platform, collecting and analyzing customer feedback was a disjointed process involving manual forms and messy spreadsheets. We struggled with slow response turnarounds and scattered data, but now we can launch beautifully designed, logic-based surveys in minutes and view real-time aggregated metrics. This has resulted in a 40% reduction in the time our team spends on data collection, allowing us to implement user feedback much faster.

 ### 24. Survey monkey is a great tool for quick feedback or input

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Byron K. | Creative Media Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Many of the free options are removed and placed in the pay segment. Survey Monkey is still a great tool, but for small businesses that only use the platform 2-3 times a year there isn't a great value in a pay for survey. One of the best parts of the tool was the fact that there was a free option with flexiblity. Sure you could pay to brand it or customize but I typically use it for my non-profit org and paying isn't really a good value for our group.

The additional analytics are cool but not entirely useful for my purpose.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Again, removing more features creates less value. Keep stripping features and I would likely shop for a new platform or use MS Forms.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with getting quick responses or feedback from large groups. It helps with event registration or gather information from attendees to events. It works well as a form builder for various purposes.

 ### 25. Excellent tool to gather feedback, identify challenges and improve performance!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colleen M. | Capacity Building Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I love that SurveyMonkey allows for anonymous feedback to be collected in a consistent and structured way. It is user-friendly, it looks professional, and has robust features. The ability to apply logic to the way questions are asked and to explore results with data fragmentation is super helpful. We can look for differences in experience based on demographics or position, for example.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The team features are sometimes challenging if you want to use SurveyMonkey from a variety of hardware. I'm sure this is to prevent folks from sharing logins, but it can become a challenge if you want to check results from a phone, ipad and computer.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey helps identify challenges and areas for improvement in learning experiences and organizational capacity. That benefits our organization and the work that we do to support mission-driven organizations in our communities.

 ### 26. Excellent Option for Surveys

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge S. | Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2021

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It has remained a consistently easy software to use and leverage as business needs arise. Super easy to quickly create new surveys or analyze existing results.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

More economical options for licensing would be welcome!

**Recommendations to others considering SurveyMonkey:**

I would definitely seriously consider surveymonkey if you are in the market for an easy, cost effective survey software because it is reasonably priced for the features you get and it is so easy to implement into most business operations.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product gave us a quick and easy way to begin collecting valuable data from our customers and then we started using it for our employees as well. It was very easy to use once you got the hang of it and super quick to implement with very litte training time. The end users like how simple it is to use and answer the surveys.

 ### 27. Straightforward Survey Creation and Multi-Brand Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suzi P. | Office Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I like most about SurveyMonkey is how straightforward it is to create and manage multiple surveys, while tailoring each one to meet the specific needs and branding of different companies. It makes it easy to keep surveys relevant and professional.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

At times, the platform can be a little difficult to navigate, particularly when using features for the first time. It would be helpful to have more step-by-step video guides or the option to book a support call with someone who can walk you through specific tasks and answer questions.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey enables us to create and distribute multiple surveys efficiently, making it easy to gather feedback from a large number of respondents. The reporting features also help us review and analyse the results, allowing us to identify trends and make informed decisions.

 ### 28. Fast Idea-to-Live Surveys with Smart Logic Branching

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe C. | Lead Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What stands out most is how fast you can go from idea to live survey. The logic branching feature is genuinely useful, I can route respondents to different questions based on their answers, which keeps surveys short and relevant instead of making everyone answer everything. The response dashboard is also clean enough that I don't need to export to Excel just to get a basic read on the data.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The feature tier structure is probably my biggest pain point. Some fairly basic functionality, like removing the SurveyMonkey branding or accessing more detailed response data, sits behind higher-paid plans, which makes it hard to justify for occasional use. It would feel more fair if the free and entry-level tiers were a bit more generous, especially for smaller teams or individual users.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves for me is getting structured feedback from a group without the chaos of email threads or informal back and forth. When I need a quick pulse check or want to gather input before a meeting, I can put something together in a few minutes and have responses coming in the same day. The biggest benefit is that it removes the friction of chasing people down, a clean survey link gets more responses than a follow-up email asking the same questions. It's not a complex tool for me, but it reliably does what I need without getting in the way.

 ### 29. User-Friendly Surveys, Reliable Performance, easy to access your data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma E. | Customer Relations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

User friendly, easy to see all of your data in one place. Easy to perform repetitive surveys over a course of months. We do not currently integrate this into our CRM system HubSpot, but may be something we look to do in the future. System consistently works to a high standard, limited down time.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Lack of knowledge when system updates are performed. Once we understand the new updates they are beneficial and they suit our type of business, however they can be difficult to gain an understanding of when you are used to one way of working for so long.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't currently have any problems, we like the system for what we use it for and understand the current functionalities.

 ### 30. Highly Customizable Surveys with Clear, Easy-to-Read Results

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devyn M. | Administrative Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I love how customizable SurveyMonkey is! Being able to add tags to answers saved me a ton of time. The results were easy to understand and had a nice display.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Getting used to the software took a little bit of time. Somethings weren't as intuitive as I expected. If you were to use it consistently though, I don't think it would be a problem.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey made it easy for me to create a survey for our employees so that we can gauge employee happiness and easily point out opportunities that we may have as employers. It saved a ton of time being able to copy and paste our questions instead of having to retype them into the survey!

 ### 31. Great templates and branding, but recent UI updates made key dashboards harder to find

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The many existing templates to choose from and how I can brand each survey individually or simply collect collector settings from a previous survey.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

After some updates it seems the UI got a bit more complicated. The overview tab disappeared and in the past I was able to check the LOI of a survey on a dashboard or in the individual result tab, but it is not there anymore.

Also when I want to add more than one survey link collector now and want to do so by copying the first collector it is really difficult to get to the collector overview where all collectors are listed up.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We offer an Engagement Survey as a product and we use SurveyMonkey as a Data gathering tool. We also do trainings/workshops regularly and use SurveyMonkey to conduct Pre- and Post-Training surveys. It helps us see how well we did and what we need to improve or what works well.

 ### 32. Good tool for creation and deployment of surveys

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It helped me to quickly develop surveys I needed for a research project. There are many useful formats for questions and they include most usual rules. General features are varied and good. Even with a survey design which was not optimized for smartphones, many respondents answered using these devices with excellent results. I didn't used the Audiences service but I think is a powerful tool and I plan to use it in future research.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The survey layout options are limited, for instance a slider control takes all screen width without any options to change its size. Some UI aspects as character size and themes are customizable but the manner to adjust them is not friendly. You can only add one image to a question, and the manner to import them is not as simple as expected. It's not clear how to design a survey using other tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and then import the design, everything must be done online and step by step. Preview forces you to follow all survey sequence. The number of devices you can use is limited to 2, and the controls are cumbersome. Important randomization functions require the highest license level (and cost). Surveys with more than 100 questions cannot be managed by the mobile app.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to implement surveys for research projects in a timely manner, and most participants found the surveys easy to follow and answer.

 ### 33. Clear, Shareable Survey Results with Easy PDF Downloads

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really enjoy being able to analyze the results after I’ve closed a survey. The results are presented in a clear, easy-to-understand way. I also like that I can share a link to the results with others or simply download them as a PDF.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I’ve run into a couple of areas that are difficult to navigate. The first issue is closing a survey. I’ve created several surveys, and each time I go to close one, I forget where the option is and end up having to Google it or ask ChatGPT just to find it. I feel the “close collector” option could be placed in a more user-friendly, easy-to-find spot. I’d love to see it available right on the main page with all the surveys, when you click the three dots, it could be an option there.

Secondly, I think there’s room for improvement in the survey-building experience, especially with the "page" feature. It would help if that part were a bit more intuitive.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of getting candid feedback from our employees in a non-identifiable manner. This helps the feedback remain honest.

 ### 34. User-Friendly and Customizable—Makes Repeat Surveys a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What is helpful with survey monkey is how user friendly it is. It allows me to customize it to my programs needs and if it is a repeat event, I can just copy the survey in its entirety. With that, it allows my work day to go a lot smoother because I am not spending unnecessary time repeating information that I already have asked.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Some downsides to survey monkey that I have experienced is the ability to send a confirmation email that people have completed their survey so they can have in their records. Also the themes are outdated, it would be great to have access to other backgrounds to have creative surveys. Possibly a partnership with canva to offer personal options.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Survey monkey is helping my organization collect detailed information that we have to submit to federal agencies that multiple people have to use at various times. It is helpful to us because we can see who all completed it and when. So we have accurate timing and we can let people know that we are missing information

 ### 35. Effortless Surveys with Powerful Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like how easy it is to set up surveys and send them out with SurveyMonkey, and analyzing the results is super easy too. The analyze results feature really helps categorize all of the answers and gives me a clear direction on where to head next for our programs. I also appreciate the easier customization, and it feels like there's a lot more logic that can be added to the surveys. Overall, it's easier to use, and there's no need for respondents to sign in, which is a huge obstacle in Google Forms. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I would like to see an easier way to deal with individual responses to surveys. Right now, it's a little bit clunky, but it could probably be improved.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to quickly reach a large membership audience with surveys. It's easy to set up surveys, analyze results, and customize. The analyze feature helps categorize responses and guide program direction.

 ### 36. Easy Setup, Efficient for Survey Programming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that I can pretty simply program a survey with SurveyMonkey. There's not a ton of options, but I know how it works, and the options available do work well for me. I appreciate that I can get pricing for an audience pretty easily, which is helpful when I'm doing proposals for consulting. I also find it convenient to use the analysis tool, especially for cross tabs, and I can export data when needed. The initial setup was very easy, and having used it for a long time, I'm quite familiar with its workings. It's been a reliable tool for me.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I feel like I'm often using SurveyMonkey to its maximum capacity and hit a wall with what I want to do. One thing I can't do is route people to different lanes in the survey. I've had to add a dummy question, like selecting a top color, to get two different routes, which is not ideal.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to program surveys for clients and as a pre-step for recruiting. I like its simplicity in survey programming, easy audience pricing for proposals, and using the analysis tool for data. It's straightforward and effective for my consulting needs.

 ### 37. SurveyMonkey Makes Creating, Sharing, and Analyzing Surveys Fast and Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ragna H. | Travel Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

One of the best things about SurveyMonkey is how easy it is to create, distribute, and analyze surveys without needing any technical expertise. The drag-and-drop interface, customizable templates, and wide variety of question types make it simple to build professional-looking surveys in minutes.

Overall, it’s very straightforward and user-friendly for both beginners and experienced users. The ready-made templates save a lot of time, and it integrates easily with MS Teams and Google workspace. Sharing surveys is also simple, whether via email or web links.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The advanced reporting and dashboard capabilities can feel a bit basic for organizations that need deeper data analysis. Pricing can also get expensive for small businesses or teams that require multiple user licenses. In addition, some integrations and automation features may require premium plans or extra setup to work as needed.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the challenge of collecting and analyzing feedback efficiently. It allows us to gather customer satisfaction data, employee feedback, market research insights, and event evaluations all in one centralized platform, making it easier to keep everything organized in one place.

 ### 38. Small business can benefit from SurveyMonkey platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

Using the tool almost fro 4 years now and it never disappoint. It is easy to create survey questions and set rules as per the user response to receive the best results.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Yes there is scope to improve the pricing. As there are lot of ai tool now I feel the plans are little expensive

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All the surveys and quizzes conducted in our organization are done by SurveyMonkey. Using this tool it becomes easy to create surveys, quizzes and polls to get feedback from our customers and collect data from them. It is easy to create and adjust the survey logic. There is no doubt that this is the easiest tool of its kind that I ever used.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay S. | Employee Engagement and Corporate Culture Expert / Digital Entertainer and Influencer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I had the advanced membership and I liked the reporting function. If using this on a regular basis it would be extremely helpful to have.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I think there are some paid features which should be part of the free, such as answer types. I think the paid value should be more on the side of reporting and additional functionalitly

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I am working with clients, there are many times I need to process a survey. Survey monkey helps me when I need a survey focusing on improving processes or employee engagement. it is essential to get the voice of the employee. Survey Monkey allows me to gain information from a neutral site which enhances the feeling of confidentiality.

 ### 40. GOOD PLATFORM FOR MAKING SURVEY FOR DATA COLLECTION ALSO LOADED WITH AI FEATURE

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Firojkhan K. | Research on Application and Webpage and give suggestions For Making Application aur Webpage More Effective and User Friendly, Research, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Trial version only 10 question and 25 response per survey collect is so limited if they give more questions and response for collecting data so any can use for 1 project and later if user stratified they go for premium version....

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you want to collect data from people with different type of question like Paragraph, Multiple Selection Options, Check Box, Image, Dropdown Box etc so using Survey Monkey you can easily collect data and analysis or use for your work.

 ### 41. User-Friendly Employee Reviews with Flexible Question and Scoring Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Veterinary | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I do like that I can take my employee reviews and make them more user friendly for the person filling them out. Being able to give them mulitiple choice questions, and different scoring options are also nice. I also like being able to choose which way I send the review

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I do find that it can sometimes be difficult to find what I’m looking for. For example, the other day I needed to view an individual’s answer rather than the bulk overview of everyone’s, and I struggled to figure out where that “button” had moved to. I know updates are good and necessary, but when you’re a busy manager and just want to go in and do what you always do, having things suddenly be different can be frustrating. As with everything, costs continue to increase. I do wish this was a little less expensive.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as an employee review system. I really like that staff can fill it out on their own time, and I’m able to see when each review is completed. It’s also helped me quickly organize everyone’s thoughts into one combined response, which saves me time.

 ### 42. AI-Driven Surveys, Quick Setup, Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I appreciate SurveyMonkey's AI features because they make my work faster by turning my draft of questionnaires into structured surveys. It's helpful that I don't have to type and copy options one by one. I also find it simple and easy to set up SurveyMonkey; just create an account and pay by credit card, and I'm already running my first survey. Plus, the pricing is reasonable with all the features they offer.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The features and logic on SurveyMonkey aren't as seamless as they could be. I think they should be more like Qualtrics, where the organizational setup and tailoring options are more straightforward. Also, when I tried using SurveyMonkey with cloud services, it didn't perform well because it took too long. It's actually faster to use it without cloud or API integrations.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to create structured surveys quickly with its AI features, which speeds up my work in the research and insight team.

 ### 43. Convenient and Efficient, But Needs Stability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I find SurveyMonkey convenient and simple to use. It allows me to collect data efficiently and export it into a format that I can use to share results. I also appreciate the templating feature since I use a custom template for all my surveys. Starting each survey with the same two questions without having to recreate them every time saves me a ton of time.

Logic works well and is effective at directing questions across the surveys so that we are only collecting relevant data.

The support team is responsive when help is needed and we have taken advantage of this to reach out when any bugs are experienced. Responses are quick, and effective at solving any issues we have.

Being able to export both the individual answers and the summary of answers to excel makes my job of sanitizing the data and sharing the results a lot easier. If I notice there is an issue with member inputs, I can correct it easily and see where the issue occurred by reviewing the individual results. The charts and graphs that can be exported to powerpoint are also useful.

We haven't experimented much with the AI features as they aren't targetted at our use case in most situations, but I do appreciate the analysis of response quality.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The website for SurveyMonkey is constantly changing with little to no warning. I'm constantly having to relearn where features are or how to access things I've used previously without trouble. Plus, I have to update documentation for the rest of my team. I would really appreciate it if there was more notice before changes, as well as instructions to access the things I have used prior to the changes. A lot of times it feels like features I used are being hidden.

Another issue that I have is regarding PowerPoint exports - when the initial question is a longer one, the question comes off the slide and needs to be manually adjusted. Additionally some question charts (typically those associated with matrix questions) are exported as an image instead of an embedded graph. It is much better when its an embedded graph so that adjustments can be made to the size of the chart without causing the image to distort.

Overall the product works well, so these are not deal-breakers in using the product, but it would certainly make my life easier if improvements were made to both of these.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey lets me collect data efficiently and export it to share results. The templating feature saves time by storing frequently used questions. It puts the data in easily readable charts and graphs with percentages and statistics that make the data easy to share.

 ### 44. Versatile Tool for Surveys and Quizzes with 24/7 Availability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I use SurveyMonkey for creating questionnaires and it's convenient to have 24/7 availability with a link that people can click on when they have time. I appreciate the variety of ways to format quizzes and the AI tool is handy for setting up a quiz or questionnaire from scratch. Being able to upload a company logo is helpful for verifying the authenticity of the quiz or questionnaire, and it's great that you can upload photos or pictures for questions.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

It's taken some practice to learn how to format quizzes so they are easy to use. I've had to learn to upload a picture then I can type the description. Sometimes, the writing shows up in a weird place for the question. When I add background color themes, I'm not really thrilled with that formatting.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey allows 24/7 access through links, useful for votes and RSVPs. I appreciate the quiz formatting options and AI tool. However, I've struggled with learning to format quizzes and I'm not thrilled with background color themes.

 ### 45. Survey Monkey Premium: Easy-to-Use Layout, Great Support, and Strong Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really enjoy the layout of Survey Monkey- it is easy to use and everything that you need to access in order to create a great survey is easy to find. The premium subscription is reasonably priced and allows me to send out detailed surveys to many different people. There is also great customer support that is available whenever you need.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I do not dislike anything about Survey Monkey premium. When I had basic SM it tended to be a bit more difficult to create surveys that are high quality and that I can send out to people. Personally, I also dislike the use of AI across all platforms, but I understand that in this day and age it is a bit hard to escape AI use.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in education as a program coordinator so SM helps me maintain registrations for each class/extracarricular that my program offers to students. It also helps me send out surveys after each class that detail how people enjoyed the class, how my department can improve, etc.

 ### 46. Intuitive survey building for fast client feedback, questionnaires, and team polls.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlton Nathaniel G. | Behavioral Consultant and Paradigm Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Survey monkey makes it easy to design and distribute professional surveys without a lot of effort. I like the broad selection of pre-built question templates, along with the logic and branching features, and the clear analytics dashboards that help me spot and analyze response trends quickly and simply.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Pricing tiers can jump significantly if you need advance export options or customized brand. But this is some of the questions logic rules can feel a bit rigid when setting up complex multi-branch surveys.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It replaces manual feedback collection and unorganized email questionnaires. It saves significant Time by centralizing survey responses, generating export ready visual chats, and helping make data-driven decisions quickly.

 ### 47. Quick, Flexible Survey Builder with Helpful AI Suggestions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandy G. | HR Assistant and PA to Directors, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I can create quick, simple surveys when I’m looking for staff feedback, and it also gives me the option to use more advanced features to build more in-depth surveys when needed.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The least helpful feature is the survey preview. It makes you go through the entire survey even when you only want to review a single section or question, or when you’re trying to check the question mapping.

The most helpful feature is the AI interaction while building the survey. I find it especially useful when it suggests answer formats that fit the question.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me create and distribute surveys to staff quickly, and then review the results in several different formats.

 ### 48. User-Friendly with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like the usability of SurveyMonkey; it's very intuitive and the process of adding questions and display logic is straightforward. It's easy to edit within the survey and share previews with my team, which is all great. I also appreciate the cloud connector that allows for creating surveys directly, and it integrates well with Claude AI. This is helpful as it handles survey building efficiently, which can otherwise be a tedious task, freeing me up to focus on other work. Additionally, I like the different options for data exports, as it allows me to use the data for my specific needs.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I would like SurveyMonkey to make it easier to do more advanced functions, like piping text into questions or having different trackers embedded within the survey. Also, I wish it were easier to change the values for different response options directly in the survey without having to do it afterward. These are the main things that come to mind.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to easily distribute surveys and collect data for strategic planning and feasibility studies in nonprofit fundraising.

 ### 49. Platform with Easy-to-Find Instructions for Managing Multiple Projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The platform is quite intuitive, and if I have any questions, it's easy to find the instructions. I use it extensively and often manage multiple projects at the same time.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

In some cases, I created a survey with around 130 questions and discovered that, beyond a certain number of pages or questions, it is no longer possible to scroll through the entire survey to view all the questions. Instead, you can only select and view one page at a time. This is very inconvenient because it makes it extremely difficult to understand where to insert new questions and to see what comes before and after the current page. Managing and editing long surveys becomes unnecessarily complicated. I would suggest increasing the maximum number of pages or questions that can be created before the layout changes, so that users can continue to scroll through the survey as they do with shorter questionnaires.
Another area for improvement is the Excel export. The numerical values are formatted as text, and the formulas used to calculate the results are not included. It would be very helpful if the formulas were available, especially for ranking questions where respondents are asked to order options by importance. The Excel reports provide a final score for each option, but they do not show how that score was calculated. As a result, users have to reverse-engineer the formula through trial and error, which is both time-consuming and inefficient.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After upgrading my subscription, I was able to use branching logic, which is not available in the basic plan. This solved the limitation I had encountered.

 ### 50. Intuitive Tool, But With Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really like the ability to filter by links in SurveyMonkey. This allows me to send the same questionnaire to various different panels and still keep the count for billing later, without confusion. This makes the research faster and helps me collect the number of responses within the ideal time, especially when working with multiple suppliers. Additionally, the setup was easy for me; it was quite intuitive to start using after receiving access.

A big advantage is also the price, the cost of Qualtrix is prohibitive in my company, even with a reasonable revenue.

Moreover, with the survey API, it is possible to integrate with various things, including having Python scripts that automatically download new responses from time to time.

The survey also has AI, but the issue is that from what I've tested, I didn't find it satisfactory. The AI doesn't understand page breaks to be able to apply logic, etc.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

One thing I really miss is a native function for making draws. For example, in a banking survey with 40 bank brands, it was necessary to randomly select one for the user to respond to. We had to find a workaround that took a lot of effort. SurveyMonkey has its limitations, such as the issue with drawing. When I want to do something more advanced, I feel like I need to do some workarounds to make it work.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to program questionnaires and make them available on panels, easily collecting and analyzing data for my consulting work.
