"Flexible Surveys, Powerful Insights—With a Learning Curve"
5/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

I use Qualtrics Market Research to create surveys, collect responses, and analyse market trends and consumer preferences. It helps me gather feedback in one place, understand customer opinions and market needs, and make more informed business and marketing decisions. I find the survey customisation, data analysis, and reporting features helpful for organising research and saving time. I like the flexibility in designing surveys, with a wide range of question types, advanced branching logic, and customisation options. The audience targeting and data visualisation features make it easier for me to conduct detailed research and understand consumer behaviour. I also found the initial setup fairly straightforward, and creating an account and getting started with basic surveys was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

I think Qualtrics Market Research could be easier to use. Navigating the platform and setting up complex surveys can take time, especially for new users, and understanding the advanced settings, customization options, and data analysis features takes some time and practice. I also find the reporting and dashboard tools could be more intuitive, since analyzing and presenting collected data is not always straightforward. The relatively high pricing may make it less accessible to smaller businesses and research teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Surveys and Insights, but Logic Setup and Reporting Feel Clunky"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

What I like best about Qualtrics Market Research is how flexible and robust it is for all the audience and internal feedback work I handle at Chicago Broadcast Collective. I’m the Operations Director, so I’m constantly juggling broadcast schedules, digital content rollouts, and coordinating teams across our different studio locations. We make local news segments, community feature stories, and streaming content, and we need solid audience feedback to guide what we put on air. Before Qualtrics, we were piecing together surveys with basic tools, and it was tough to dig into meaningful insights fast.

I really appreciate that I can build different kinds of surveys all in the same platform, no fancy coding required. We don’t just poll viewers. I also run internal feedback surveys for our producers, editors, and on-air crew about workflow bottlenecks and studio resource needs. A couple months back, we were debating whether to shift our weekend digital content lineup to more local human-interest stories instead of short recap clips. I put together a Qualtrics survey targeting our regular streaming and broadcast audience. I added branching logic so viewers who mainly watch our evening news got different follow-up questions than people who only catch our online digital shorts. That let me split the responses cleanly without sending out three separate surveys.

The reporting features are a huge win for me. Once responses start rolling in, Qualtrics automatically crunches the data, flags trending answers, and builds charts I can drop straight into our weekly leadership sync. I don’t have to export raw results and spend hours sorting everything in Excel. There was one time we tested two versions of a new morning show promo, and I ran a quick A/B test inside Qualtrics. It clearly showed which hook resonated better with our suburban audience. We switched the promo before it went live across our broadcast feeds, and we saw way better viewer retention right away.

I also love how easy it is to share survey links with our partner focus groups and pull feedback from our digital signage screens we manage through OneScreen. Sometimes we post a quick QR code on our lobby displays so visitors and staff can weigh in on new content ideas. All those submissions flow right back into the same Qualtrics project.

It’s not bloated with unnecessary features we’ll never touch, but it’s powerful enough for broadcast market research. Whether I’m testing a show concept, measuring viewer satisfaction, or checking in with our production teams about workflow pain points, Qualtrics keeps all the feedback centralized. It saves me so much manual grunt work, so I can spend less time cleaning survey data and more time aligning our broadcast schedule and content strategy around what our audience actually wants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

What I dislike about Qualtrics Market Research is that it has a handful of really frustrating pain points that slow me down constantly, especially as Operations Director here at Chicago Broadcast Collective. We’re always running a mix of viewer surveys, internal crew feedback polls, and last-minute promo concept tests for our broadcast and streaming content, and a lot of the advanced settings are way more convoluted than they need to be. The survey builder works fine for short, simple polls, but it gets messy fast once I start adding branching logic to split up our audience groups — like separating folks who watch us over-the-air on regular TV from our streaming-only digital viewers.

Just last month I was putting together a survey to test two different teaser cuts for our new morning show. My plan was to use skip logic so anyone who never tunes into the morning block would automatically skip those promo questions. I tinkered with the rules twice, but I still messed up the flow. Before I caught it, a bunch of respondents who don’t watch morning news were answering questions about our morning teasers, which threw off our whole dataset. I had to hit pause on the survey, go through every single logic path one by one to fix it, then relaunch everything. That delay pushed back our deadline to lock in the final promo, and our production team had to shift their edit schedule around it. It was a real headache.

I also think the built-in reporting and sharing tools are clunky for how quickly our broadcast team moves. When I need to send survey findings over to our news director, production supervisors, and sales team, the default reports are stuffed full of extra tables and metrics most of them don’t need or understand. I can customize dashboards, sure, but it takes endless clicking to hide all the irrelevant data and simplify the charts so they’re easy to digest. A few weeks back, I pulled the results from our quarterly viewer satisfaction survey. It took me almost a full hour just to clean up the report, strip out all the extra noise, and get it ready for our weekly leadership sync. There’s no quick, one-click executive summary template for these check-ins, and that’s the version I practically need every single time.

It’s not that Qualtrics is bad at what it does, it’s just built for deeper, longer research projects. For our workflow, we often need fast, straightforward insights on tight broadcast timelines, and these little frictions pile up. When I’m juggling studio schedules, crew coordination, and content rollouts, I don’t have extra time fighting with complicated logic builders and bloated reports. It definitely adds unnecessary stress when we’re racing to lock in content before airtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Survey Creation with Integrated Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

I like the flexibility Qualtrics Market Research offers when creating surveys and having the responses and analytics all in one place. This makes it easier for me to review the data and spot useful trends without needing to switch between different tools. I use it mainly to create and manage surveys, collect customer feedback, and organize research data, which helps me gather insights in a structured way. The efficiency in collecting and analyzing feedback is another aspect I appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

The platform can feel a little overwhelming at first. Some features could be easier to navigate, especially for new users. A more guided setup and clearer menus would help. Short tutorials for the main features would also make the learning curve easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Flexible Survey Logic—But a Steep Learning Curve"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

As a user researcher I found the logic and piping structure very flexible making all the routing options between questions helpful for varied survey design with a lot of rules. Once you learnt it it was relatively straightforward but the learning curve in the beginning is quite steep and long it's definitely on the complex end of tools for survey Max diff and other methodologies Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

The steep learning curve and the complexity of the interface makes it harder to learn and use efficiently in the beginning compared to some of the other survey tools I've used in the past but it tends to make up with the amount of functionality you get to have once you have learned how to use it. "it's easy to learn if you are in the business of creating surveys or if it's part of your studies"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

I love the flexibility of options in terms of how you can deploy questions and the type of questions you can ask using this software. What you can do with the data afterward is just as excellent t Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

Our one complaint is that the price has crept up over the years to the point that it's significantly higher than we were paying 4-5 years ago Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very useful for Wellness Surveys, Feedback Collection and Research Work"
5/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist and also create health education content, awareness presentations, webinar sessions and wellness related online content. qualtrics Strategy & Research helps me handle audience surveys, health feedback and educational research work in a much more organized way.

i use it for nutrition and lifestyle questionnaires, webinar feedback forms, wellness awareness surveys and understanding what type of health topics people are more interested in. features like different question types, survey flow, logic settings, mobile preview, response tracking, analytics, reporting dashboards and data export are very useful during health awareness and educational projects. It helps make surveys feel more professional and interactive instead of simple normal forms.

the platform also helps while planning online health sessions because I can check audience responses, participation patterns and common wellness related concerns more clearly from survey reports. Survey templates and workflow settings also saves time when creating forms for different awareness programs and webinar topics. Performance has been good during regular use and response collection works smoothly most of the time. sharing surveys, managing responses and checking reports from one place makes the workflow more easy during busy educational content work. Overall, Qualtrics Strategy & Research has been really useful for health awareness surveys, audience feedback, webinar response collection and educational content planning work. It helps keep research and survey related work more structured, interactive and easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

platform has many advanced options and settings, so in the beginning it can feel little heavy while managing survey flow, logic and reporting sections together. Basic surveys are easy to create, but when working on detailed feedback forms or multiple wellness questionnaires, sometimes I need extra time to properly organize everything. Another small thing is that the reporting and analytics side is powerful, but sometimes there is so much data visible together that it takes time to focus only on the specific audience insights I actually need for health awareness and webinar related work. "Intuitive Surveys, Results can be difficult to view"
4/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

I like that it's very easy to put together a quick survey with Qualtrics Strategy & Research and have various types of questions. The UI is intuitive and pretty for the person taking the survey. I found it easy to add questions in the format I wanted, rearrange/order them the way I wanted, and add if/then questions. It's easy and quick to build the survey. I prefer Qualtrics more than other tools because it's designed specifically as a survey tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

I was having trouble with reading results as a whole. There was one question I had on a 1-5 scale and it was giving me the mean, median, and mode of the results rather than just the number of responses and the number on the scale they selected. I eventually found results in the ways I wanted, but it took me a little while to find the summaries, the results altogether, and the results by individual. Just maybe an easy way to see summary results and individual results on the main survey page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Tool for Enterprise Experience Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

I use Qualtrics Strategy & Research as a critical telemetry tool for our identity infrastructure. I love its ability to quantify the human element of our infrastructure by integrating X-Data and O-Data to map user sentiment directly to Azure performance metrics. I find Text iQ's automated sentiment analysis incredibly useful, allowing me to move from anecdotal feedback to data-driven decisions quickly. The X-O integration lets me identify specific 'friction points' in our identity lifecycle, helping build evidence-based architectures. I appreciate how it transforms unstructured feedback into a structured, data-driven approach. The integration with our Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure DevOps and Power BI, is seamless, and I value the automated feedback loop it creates for our engineering team. Additionally, I find the initial setup for basic feedback fast and the investment in configuring SSO and API with Azure AD worthwhile for its automation capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

While the platform is incredibly deep, the onboarding process for advanced research modules has a steep learning curve. Additionally, for a technical team, the initial integration of O-Data can be more manual than the marketing suggests. I’d love to see more 'low-code' connectors for cloud environments like Azure, which would allow us to close the 'Experience Gap' even faster without as much custom configuration. "Deep Research Expertise That Drives Real Business Impact"
5/5
What do you like best about Qualtrics Market Research?

What I like most about Qualtrics Strategy & Research is the way it blends deep research expertise with real-world business impact. The team doesn’t just collect data; they help organizations translate insights into clear, strategic decisions. I also value the emphasis on innovation, advanced analytics, and understanding customer and employee experiences at scale. On top of that, the range of projects and the collaborative environment make it an engaging place to learn, grow, and tackle meaningful business challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualtrics Market Research?

One challenge with Qualtrics Strategy & Research is that the work can be very fast-paced and demanding, especially when managing multiple client projects and tight deadlines. Because the environment is highly data- and client-driven, priorities can shift quickly, which may sometimes make work-life balance difficult during busy periods. Additionally, aligning complex research findings with client expectations can occasionally be challenging, but it also creates opportunities for growth and problem-solving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
