I love that it has multiple uses for our business as well. **What do you dislike about Smartcare?** Too many updates, it is constantly updating which could be great. No stacks of paper and all in one trusted place. **What do you dislike about Smartcare?** Smartcare team does its best to make sure your start-up is smooth, however, with any transition, there can be some feeling of being overwhelmed. **What problems is Smartcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am fine with how the product works however you can tell it takes our feedback and updates the system to help make it more convenient for its user. The Help Desk folks are very helpful when we have a question about Smart Care. **What do you dislike about Smartcare?** The reporting feature seems complicated. It would be nice to have a place for notes in Enrollments Received and Waitlisted. When downloading an application, it is too easy to accidentally delete it; both options are right next to each other. Messaging would be nice if we could type in an email address, instead it has to be an email address already in the system. **What problems is Smartcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm not sure. ### 5. It made it easy to make payments to the facility in one place. **What do you dislike about Smartcare?** The app did not provide push notifications, so we had to install a separate app that was connected in order to get notifications. **What problems is Smartcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** I liked that I could see all of the daily updates. Simple to process payments. All the info we need in one place. **What do you dislike about Smartcare?** The ledger isn't very flexible. I would say the parent/ child's billing ledger is the "clunkiest" part of the program. **What problems is Smartcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automatic billing and payment processing is a huge time saver. ### 9. And can export any report in a variety of formats! **What do you dislike about Smartcare?** Minor but the CACFP report lists free, paid, reduced. The actual CACFP report lists free, reduced then paid for meal count summary. Our program has "summer only" children which I archived last August. I have several of them returning for this summer and I have no way to know what group they were in last year when I change their enrollment status back to "enrolled." Overall, no deal breakers, just little recommendations. **Recommendations to others considering Smartcare:** Talk to Smartcare (demo) AND talk to someone using the system. It is amazing!!! If your program needs something specific, ask Smartcare... they probably have it! **What problems is Smartcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our program is saving time and money with Smartcare. I can run reports for about anything I need. It may take me a phone call to their customer service to find the report but they are ALWAYS helpful and try to figure out workarounds if my exact request isn't available. I am learning how to use waitlists and projected enrollments. To have everything in one program is the best benefit ever. No more cross-matching! ### 10. It has a lot of great features that make my job easier. **What do you dislike about Smartcare?** The only thing that is missing is the ability to process payroll. Everything else is fantastic! **Recommendations to others considering Smartcare:** This program is wonderful and offers many services that are very helpful. If you are looking to process payroll it does not offer that feature yet but I am sure it will be offered in the future because they are always adding things to make being an administrator easy. It’s amazing!! It’s slow, doesn’t refresh correctly and takes me back to last weeks posts. I dislike that I’m not able to see what my other coteacher posts do I either have to go into that certain child’s post or ask my coteacher. As a parent of two, I hate that they send everything as a mass text. It’s hard to see what each of my children have done because it comes as a mass text and their names are so tiny in the corner of the message. **What problems is Smartcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nothing as of yet. No more looking at 3 different programs and endless pieces of paper just to figure out how your business is preforming. I love knowing that I can stay connected even when off sick or on vacation. **What do you dislike about Smartcare?** Honestly, I can not think of a dislike. SmartCare responds well to feedback and they have built the program for the people that use it. I am very satisfied with the team they have and their attention to detail. **Recommendations to others considering Smartcare:** SmartCare really does have everything you need to run a child care center of any size. The program is easy to use and puts everything right at your fingertips. Above everything else, the team at SmartCare is dedicated to getting it right. I have been extremely impressed with the amount of communication they have had with me.
