Shippeo has completely transformed how we track shipments across our supply chain. The real-time visibility and highly accurate ETA predictions have significantly reduced the time our team spends chasing updates from carriers. It's become an indispensable part of our daily operations — we simply couldn't imagine going back to manual tracking.

**What do you dislike about Shippeo?**

The initial setup and carrier onboarding process took longer than we expected, especially for smaller carriers with limited EDI capabilities. There's a bit of a learning curve when configuring custom alerts and dashboards for the first time. That said, the support team was responsive and helped us get through it without too much friction.

**What problems is Shippeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shippeo solved our biggest pain point: the hours our logistics team spent manually calling carriers for status updates. With automated tracking and exception alerts in place, those hours have been redirected to higher-value work. Beyond time savings, having reliable shipment data has also improved our internal reporting and made conversations with partners much more fact-based.

**What do you like best about Shippeo?**

The main advantages of Shippeo are the multi-modal carrier integrations and the centralized visibility overview. I also appreciate the built-in Insights tools, such as Performance monitoring and Smart Tracking Analyzer, and the Carbon Visibility. I especially like the new Global Map feature, as it brings ocean visibility to the next level and makes  platform much more visual and interactive. The most important is a Shippeo team. Fantastic people and always great support.

**What do you dislike about Shippeo?**

One of the main challenges I encounter with Shippeo is the complexity of integration with some carriers. Another limitation is a lack of split visibility per parcel service level.

It helps spot delays in shipments, which in turn improves revenue recognition.

Real-time visibility is a game-changer. We can finally track shipments across Europe without constantly calling carriers for updates. The map view is clear, and the ETA predictions are surprisingly accurate – it’s saved us a lot of customer service headaches.

Sometimes the data updates lag behind reality, especially with smaller carriers that don't integrate as smoothly.

**What problems is Shippeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to waste hours chasing carriers for ETAs and updating customers manually. Shippeo automates all that – we get live tracking updates without picking up the phone. The biggest benefit is peace of mind: our customer service team can proactively alert clients about delays instead of reacting after they complain. As a carrier connected via TMS, what I value most about Shippeo is the seamless automatic synchronization. Everything I manage in my TMS, orders and resources, flows directly into Shippeo without any manual re-entry. There’s no need for manual declaration, and a dedicated team takes care of the technical setup, providing ongoing support for me and my teams.

**What do you dislike about Shippeo?**

One drawback is the reliance on the shipper’s orders being live before I can begin testing the connection, since there’s no dedicated testing environment available.

**What problems is Shippeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shippeo solves the lack of real-time visibility and heavy manual coordination by integrating my data, integrating my live tracking of my fleet and subcontractors, along with automated updates and ETA. It also simplifies subcontractor management and provides performance data I can share with customers.

The quality of the data depends heavily on the information provided. When exporting data from Shippeo, the full VIN numbers of the cars are not included, which can be a significant limitation.

The most helpful aspect is the high accuracy of the predictive ETAs. Because the system provides real-time milestones and precise arrival times directly to our customer's  plants, it has significantly reduced the number of 'status update' calls and emails our dispatchers receive. It creates a single source of truth that both we and the customer can trust.

**What do you dislike about Shippeo?**

The occasional delay in data synchronization between our TMS and the Shippeo portal is the least helpful aspect.

**What problems is Shippeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disputes over on-time performance (how long a truck waited at the plant) are often based on manual logs, which can be inaccurate and lead to friction. Automated Geofencing captures exact arrival and departure timestamps, proving to be an excellent solution.

This is totally something to upgrade.

- The tracking of vehicles through both road and satellite maps;
- Allow our plant logistics to understand when the vehicle is expected to arrive for loading;
- Allow our Customer Service and client to have real-time visibility of where the product is and if it meets the ETA;
- The Smart Tracking Analyzer tool is well-made and very useful for identifying the causes that have affected the performance of the carriers;
- Shippeo support is quick in responding;

**What do you dislike about Shippeo?**

- The Mobile App must be improved and simplified as much as possible to allow drivers easy use;
- trips on the Mobile App must automatically arrive on the drivers' smartphones and iPhones, minimizing their manual intervention;
- although Shippeo support is ready with responses, it has not always been timely in resolving the issues raised; for example, identifying the cause of missing tracking for specific license plates of a particular telematics provider.

Improvement in the interface between our Sap and Tesi Square systems and Shippeo for the transmission of orders to be tracked.

The support from the entire Shippeo team, from the top of the organization to the bottom Operation team has really helped us during the Implementation of our global platform roll-out. Furthermore Shippeo has a very basic and standard API that is easy to implement. Having all modalities and all transporters on the same platform helps our users not having to switch to different websites to gather their information.

**What do you dislike about Shippeo?**

Shippeo is working on enhancing the userfriendliness of their platform. Currently the user experience can be enhanced by creating a dashboard functions that give our users a better overview when using the platform. A BETA version is being developed and used to improve the ease of using the platform and increasing the user experience.

**What problems is Shippeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having quicker and more up to date information on the arrival times at internal or customer locations will improve our reliability. Being able to share that information with our customers quicker will help improve the customer satisfaction on their delivery performance. And we also expect to make our operational workload more efficient by spending less time in email or telephone conversations with customers and carriers.

Shippeo is an application that is very easy to get started with. The company listens to its clients and is always open to continuous improvement. I appreciate the mindset and find that it aligns with our way of working.

Also, our client manager and support are very responsive.

Finally, the application is up-to-date from a technical standpoint (provision of APIs, etc.)

Sometimes the response times of certain teams can be long

Rigidity regarding certain settings that do not allow for simple modifications by the client (mapping, for example)

Shippeo allows us to have visibility on the progress of the transport orders generated by our TMS.

Working as a Carrier, it's the only Visibility Network that build a specific relationship with us through a Carrier Success Manager, instead of using a level 1 support team like others. 

This means we have a unique point of entry for any incident happening, and a very quick integration with customers.

Website could use some refreshing/customization, but it's on the roadmap I've heard.

It would be nice if the mobile was improved. But I've heard that improvements are on their way.

It solves that we have more visibilty in the shipments of our partners. It also holds the POD in the same overview which is great for back tracking.
